Situated in Fort Payne, this attractive cabin for $179 per night is a great option for your next break. Private cabin that sits extremely close to Little River Canyon at only 3 miles. While sitting only 4.7 miles away from DeSoto State Park making this cabin right in the middle of the areas most popular must see destinations. This cabin has two separate bedrooms and each has a queen sized bed . One upstairs and one downstairs. A custom very unique walk in shower. Very comfy living room area with a fire place and many overhead lighting options for the perfect mood. The upstairs sitting area is perfect for the morning coffee drinker or book reading while staring out the large open windows. The rear porch is the favorite for anyone who visits. Its extremely private, has a large hot tub, a nice sitting area or you can explore the wilderness right outside the back door. The cabin will make you feel as your all by yourself yet your less than 8 minutes to town. We also have great phone and internet service. The kids and adults both will enjoy the moments around the unique fire pit, It offers huge oversized boulders that many friends can sit around for late night fun and marsh mellows. The cabin is completely surrounded by thick trees and sits on a dense private wooded 5 acre lot. We also keep a charcoal grill at the back porch for those that like to grill out. We are about a 17 minute drive to Weiss lake, or a 10 minute drive to Fort Payne water reservoir and within 20 minutes Dekalb County Lake. So bring those kayaks and boats along with you for some great fishing. We are very communicative and will happily guide you to the areas best attractions whether it be Restaurants, Fishing, Hiking, Malls and so on. We love to help. For the Romantic couples seeking to surprise there other half. We gladly offer flowers, champagne, cards, rose petals or whatever else you would like to have prior to your arrival for a small additional fee. .

Property was great and exactly as advertised. Super clean when we got there, they even changed the hot tub water from the previous guests (had to wait a few hours for it to heat back up, but worth it). Very easy checkout process as well. This was exactly what my family needed after the stresses of Christmas.

We stayed at Faye's Retreat in October. I have used vacation rentals for the past twenty years. This cabin is truly a gem. By far the best rental we have stayed at. Super clean, easy to find, plenty of parking and supplied with more than one would need. The design of cabin is perfect for a family of four. I cannot say enough about the decor and all the special detail. We really hated to leave.

The cabin is beautiful!! Immaculate inside and out! The decor is rustic chic...very cool. It's a peaceful setting and private. Also, very close to all the fun things to do. Fort Payne is a great little town with bars/restaurants, groceries and friendly people. There's hiking at gorgeous Little River Canyon and Desoto State Park, which also has ziplining! Nearby horseback riding too. Owner, Matt, is a great communicator and his mom is a sweetheart. 5 star all the way!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Faye’s Retreat. This was definitely what my husband and I was needing to relax for a few days. Very clean, quiet and exactly as pictured. Host was very quick to respond. We have already discussed making plans to come back and stay.

It was so beautiful. There is one thing i think they need to do and that's to cut those dead trees in the driveway. It got stormy one night we were there and we moved our truck on the road and were scared they would fall on the cabin.

The cabin was easy to find. Private, peaceful, and very clean. The manager was very easy to contact. I would recommend any couples that want a peaceful place to stay. This would be the one. Five stars!!!

We loved the cabin it was very nicely done & sitting back in the woods for seclusion was very peaceful. The hot tub was very relaxing. Matt, the host was very attentive & very helpful with answering all of our questions. We will be back at some point. Thank you for the great place to relax & share a lot of laughs with friends.

Cabin was clean, easy to find. The Description of the property was accurate. Owners instructions were simple and spot on. Overall we had a great time, Fort payne and surrounding areas were beautiful. We spent plenty of time in Chattanooga which was great too. Ate at Vintage 1889, a Taco truck, and Roadside Que in Fort Payne....the owner there was super friendly. All places had fantastic food. It was a nice trip A+++++ Thank you

We had a great time staying in your beautiful cabin for our “37th” Anniversary. It was the perfect cabin and so peaceful and relaxing, just what we were looking for. The porches, hot tub and shower are wonderful! We even brought our hammocks and hung them in trees out back. The cabin is so easy to find and lots of privacy. Very close to Little River Canyon and easy drive to Ft Payne, Desoto State Park/Falls and Mentone. Matt is quick to respond and send all info you will need for your stay! We also stopped at Parkway Ice Cream and General Store for ice cream and got to meet Matt’s sweet wife and Mom (Ms. Faye). If you are looking for a cabin close to everything in the area you have found the perfect one! We were blessed to stay and hope to get to return soon and stay here again! Thanks again Matt

We made the 2 hour drive from our hometown to Ft Payne for a short little getaway with our ten year old son and his best friend. The two boys had the time of their life kicking a soccer ball around, hanging out by the fire, chilling in the hot tub, and sleeping in the loft area. Ft Payne is gorgeous. This cabin was so clean, well kept, and so cozy. I definitely recommend checking it out!!

Host was fast in replying to questions, check in was easy. Cabin was very clean and had all the basics we needed for a short stay. Our 8 year old loved the hot tub. It was close to where we wanted to visit but still felt quiet and secluded. We would definitely stay again.

We were looking for a place to just relax and reenergize. That is exactly what we found and more. The area has several places to see beautiful waterfalls and hike. Great little restaurants with nice people everywhere we went. The hot tub was a great place to start or end your day. We hope to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The cabin was set back from the main road which provided a beautiful view. The beds were comfortable, the hot tub was perfect, and the campfire area was a fun addition as well!

Perfect blend of comfort and rustic. Short drive to grocery, gas, town restaurants and shops. Short drive to Little River Fall's, Desoto Fall's, Mentone. Less than 1 hour to Cathedral Caverns and Cloudland State Park in GA. Loved coming home to the hot tub, camp fire and grilling dinner. We loved Faye's and host Matt was great.

This place is great. It is close to town and state parks and still in the country. The cabin was just what we was looking for. The cabin was perfect. Everything looked just like the pictures. The hot tub was fun, the firepit was cozy, the beds were comfortable, and the whole space was incredibly welcoming and charming. Town was a short drive away and there are some great local restaurants to eat at.
