This house is located in a great neighborhood in Burlington. It was close to the Church Street Marketplace with great shopping & restaurants. There was plenty of space for 4 people. Kitchen and bathrooms were nicely renovated. It was an older home with lots of character. Owner was easy to contact. I would recommend this house to my friends if they were going to Burlington.

This gracious old Home is beautifully cared for and we immediately felt Welcome.
We enjoyed evenings on the back porch and coffee on the front porch. All the beds were comfy, there was lots of space for all of us and we enjoyed congregating in the wonderful chefs kitchen. This home is the perfect size for a larger crew – there is plenty of space for all. We just love it!
Our hosts could not have been more gracious or accommodating. Will definitely be back!

Overall we had an enjoyable stay with plenty of room for 6 adults. There were some areas inside and outside of property that need to be tended to but did not affect our stay but would certainly make the property more appealing. Emily was easy to contact and answered all questions expeditiously. Great central location only a few blocks to downtown and the two local colleges.

Great place two blocks from downtown! Owner was great from start to finish. Easy check in process, always responding to texts and questions. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Burlington.

Our family stayed here for UVM graduation week. The location was perfect for walking to campus and downtown. So close to everything! The house has so much charm and was so comfortable. Plenty of room for 7 adults and our dog.
Great fenced in yard. Excellent communication with owner!

My husband and I rented the property for 10 days. Our 2 adult children and their partners joined us along with a dog! We had 2 family weddings. We were all working remotely during the week. The property is spacious and charming. It was great to be able to spread out. There was great outside space too. The location is amazing. Walk to everything in downtown Burlington- shops restaurants, supermarket, waterfront. The property is in a quiet street, no noise issues at night.
The host is very responsive. We needed to find someone to walk the dog while we were at the weddings. She found a neighbor for us each time.

We absolutely loved our stay. It was the perfect place to have some relaxing family time. You cannot beat the location for exploring Burlington. We got to feel like Burlington residents for a bit. We can’t wait to return!

Historic house in heart of Burlington and easy walking distance to Church Street. Great location and very comfortable for our extended family. Loved the porches. While the house did contain all promised features, it would have been nice to have a microwave and washing machine. Host was very responsive.

Fabulous home in central Burlington - perfect oasis for your trip
Emily could not have helped us have a better family vacation. Her home is beautifully maintained and has an incredible location (coffee shops, grocery stores, restaurants all <5-10 min walk away). We really enjoyed having a centralized hub for exploring both Burlington, as well as some of the neighboring towns. Her communication skills are excellent and she was accommodating of special requests that we had. I really appreciate that she provided detailed check-in information and made herself readily available throughout our stay. We will definitely stay again if our travels bring us back to Burlington!

Beautiful Home in a Great Location
The house was beautiful with great furnishings and in a perfect location for exploring Burlington. We stayed there as a family with an infant and the house had everything we needed to be comfortable and relaxed. We had some minor issues with the hot water not working and only ever really lasting 2 minutes. Could be worth checking in on if there's anything out of order before check in, but the house overall is almost impossible to beat!

We loved our stay! Beautiful old house with tons of charm and character. Very clean and had everything we needed. We loved all the porches / decks to hang out in with our coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. You can even catch a glimpse of the sunset. As other reviewers have noted, this is in an eclectic neighborhood with some students that keep later hours. Didn't bother us at all. We love all the recommendations that Emily provided - especially the pizza place at the end of the street. We look forward to future trips to Burlington.

We just spent a week at this location for a late summer getaway. This is a great downtown location about 1 1/2 block from Church Street and about 3 miles from north beach
The house has a lot of character and was comfortable and relaxing. We spent a good deal of time just sitting on the front porch. There is a porch on the second floor that is a great place to relax.

Charming house with lots of original wood and stained glass windows. Updated kitchen and downstairs bath. Fenced yard. What is great about this property is it’s a convenient walk to anything downtown. As others have mentioned it is in an area where a lot of college kids live, but we weren’t bothered by it at all and we were there for move-in weekend. Emily was a great host.

Home Base for UVM Graduation (15-months after-the-fact due to COVID)
This house sits on a residential street in between the Church Street commercial district and the University of Vermont campus. That makes it a great location - we walked to campus, we walked out to dinner, we walked to the lake (there's coffee, creamees, a pizza place, and a good cocktail bar right at the end of the street). The street has a mix of homeowners and college housing, so you meet lots of nice people.
We thought the house, itself, was wonderful. It's an older house (early 1900s) with depictions of a rich history inside. We spent evenings enjoying breezes on the front porch, but there's also a backyard and back terrace seating area. A large kitchen island makes it a breeze to whip up quick meals.
The hosts are great, and do their best to be a helpful concierge with recommendations for farmers' markets, good brunches, etc. Even sent a couple useful check-in videos by text message.
We would definitely stay here again, although we usually rent waterfront near the bike path.
Two notes to share:
1) There are college kids enjoying youthful life in the neighborhood. They can be loud at night. We loved that energy, but potential renters should look inward at how curmudgeonly they think they are.
2) The hosts use their basement (separate outside entrance) and may stop by to grab bikes. We thought was fun to meet them in the yard and we have nothing to hide, but know that some renters may feel uncomfortable with this situation.

The house was beautiful and just as described. The location was perfect, a short walk to anything you wanted to do. The owner,
Emily, was very efficient with all communication, on things in the house, on where to go for dinner, drinks, and entertainment. Even things we could do with our Grandchildren. We truly enjoyed our stay.
