Nestled in Qualla, this attractive cabin for $258 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. *BRAND NEW HOT TUB!* The Lazy Log Cabin is a beautiful, cozy, wooded retreat in the gated community of Mountain View estates in Whittier, NC. Sit back and relax in the hot tub surrounded by the serenity of nature, or go explore with only a short drive to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, downtown Bryson City, Cherokee and Harrahs' Casino and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Cabin includes 3 Smart TVs, equipped with Netflix and Hulu, and additional streaming services that you can log into for your convenience. The space Exterior The road is paved all the way to the cabin, with easy and abundant parking for any vehicle. A small set of steps take you up to the covered porch leading to the entry. The porch is a great place to enjoy the outdoors and fresh mountain air from the rocking chairs or porch swing. To the left of the steps, a gazebo houses a large relaxing hot tub and a privacy shade. A gas grill also sits under the gazebo, waiting for you to show off your culinary skills rain or shine. Take a seat in a chair around the fire pit located in the side yard behind the gazebo and enjoy the sounds of a crackling fire while your marshmallows roast over the hot flames. Entry level The living room has comfortable soft leather sofas surrounding a stone gas fireplace. The open layout serves as a great opportunity to enjoy the surrounding trees and natural light. A Smart TV equipped with Netflix, Hulu, and additional streaming services that you can log into for your convenience sits on the mantle for entertaining indoors. Woodland and wildlife touches are featured throughout the cabin. The kitchen has black granite countertops, stainless appliances, and beautiful cabinetry, making time spent preparing meals pleasant in this fully equipped space. Enjoy coffee or tea in the morning with the Keurig or drip coffee maker. Pots/pans, baking sheets, knives, cutting board, corkscrew/bottle opener, silverware and various other cooking utensils are provided, as well as plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, wine and champagne glasses. There is seating for 4 at the dining table. Down a short hall, you will pass a full bath with a tub on your way to the first bedroom. There is a washer and dryer located in the bathroom closet for your convenience. The first bedroom offers a queen-size bed, as well as a set of bunk beds. It contains a Smart TV and large closet, making a great room for the kids or a few friends. Next door is the master suite with a private adjoining full bath with a tub. The master suite has a relaxing king-size bed facing a set of large but private windows, as well as its own gas fireplace. This room has a romantic ambiance and you may find yourself sneaking off just to enjoy time here alone together. A Smart TV sits above the mantle and plenty of storage is available in the closet behind the sliding mirrored doors. Access Road The smooth road makes the location Motorcycle and Mini Cooper Friendly. While no mountain road is truly flat or level its whole length, there are no sharp switchbacks and nothing more than a moderate incline. My wife and I spent 5 days here. Very clean!. Off the beaten path but still pretty easy to get to. Paved road all the way. Everything functioned as it should. Fair warning, there is no cell service at the cabin. You will need to use internet calling. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace in the bedroom. Great cabin, great location, great weekend, great owners!

Me and my friends had a great time at this cabin. It was very clean and well supplied. The check in process was very simple and we got in without a problem. There isn’t too much to do around the area, but the mountains surrounding the property are gorgeous.

Had an amazing time with just a couple issues. First the hot tub had WAY too much chlorine, to the point we both ended up with chlorine rashes. Second was the grill ran out of propane while cooking second night. Gated community was extremely nice and we would stay again.

This property was as listed and the hosts checked in periodically to make sure we were enjoying the trip and the accommodations were appropriate. Any questions I had were answered very fast. I would recommend this property and owners. The hot tub was very clean, as well!

The secluded, gated development was as quiet as could be. The only sound we heard the entire time was birds and the hot tub. Did I mention the hot tub? It was wonderful coming back to that after each day's hike. Everything in the cabin functioned as expected. Plenty of hot water and good shower pressure. The king bed was comfortable. We didn't try the others. There was one quirky little thing that takes a bit of getting used to. The kitchen sink has a lever near the floor that you press with your foot when you want cold water to come out. I've never seen something like this. Not a big deal though. We would gladly return to this lovely cabin.

Quiet cozy cabin with all the amenities including large covered hot tub with paved parking area in gated community. Motorcycle friendly with enough room to park truck and trailer. My husband and I spent the week here celebrating our wedding anniversary and riding motorcycles - it was perfect for us.

This cabin is wonderful! It's within a short driving distance to pretty much everything from a grocery store, pharmacy, rafting/tubing, great restaurants, shopping, etc. The house has a fairly well stocked kitchen, our beds were clean and comfortable, and we loved the peace and quiet of the gated community. One thing I would highly suggest is checking your emails a little before getting to the property unlike we did. It was pure excitement at being in the mountains; however, we arrived and had zero cell service and no way to check for gate code or lock box code! We were able to get ahold of the owner fairly quickly and they were outstanding in communicating with us about our mix up. We were in, with codes in hand, in a little over 10 minutes. Don't be dingdongs like us, check for those codes. We would definitely stay again!

Stayed with family (age ranging from 5 to 67). Pros: The jacuzzi! Super close to stores and the casino, easy check-in, easy communication with the owners, great neighborhood, security. Cons: Squeaking beds and mattresses, under equipped kitchen and cleanliness slightly under satisfactory level.

This was the perfect relaxing cabin. The furnishings were nice. We come to the area at least once a year to ride our motorcycle. Our only issue was the gate system did not recognize us on the bike.

Everything was well communicated. The cabin was perfect for the two of us. Hot tub was nice. Location was great for Harrahs. Gated community is nice and safe.

The cabin had plenty of towels, especially for using the hot tub often. All the kitchen utensils were nice to have so we could cook meals when we didn’t want to go out. It was very cozy and we felt right at home. We will be back.
