Welcome to Boomer Bungalow - 35 Redbud Lane This spacious second-floor studio is on Redbud Park and is just a short distance from the Bocce Ball Park, Firefly Park, and the community swimming pool and hot tub. This beautifully furnished Bungalow is perfect for a couple's romantic getaway, it is light and open with all the comforts of home, you will be so comfortable that you won't want to leave. With so many outdoor community spaces at your fingertips, you will have lots to experience during your stay. Being a studio setup, this unit doesn't have a dishwasher available. The primary bed is queen-sized and the large L-shaped leather sofa. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: (Sleeps 2) Loft - King Bed Golf carts parked at the property are owners use only. If you would like to rent a Golf cart, please contact Lakeside Motorsports at All of our vacation rental homes at LakeStay are equipped with bed linens, bath towels, a starter supply of amenities, and a washer/dryer unit for your stay. This was the perfect place for my mom to stay on our family trip to Carlton Landing. She had her own quiet place to retreat to for rest, with comfortable sofa and bed and everything she needed. It's an adorable apartment and perfect for a solo traveler or a couple.

We rented this bungalow for 2 nights. On the first night we were kept awake by a mouse who was making squeaking and scratching noises all night long. My husband and I were unable to sleep due to the noises and we contacted hospitality by email during the night. After no response by mid morning to the email, we called and spoke to an employee first hand. She assured someone would be calling us and taking care of the mouse issue. When no one called, we decided to stop into the office later that afternoon. We were told two separate times the manager would be getting with us to handle the situation. Unfortunately, no one ever contacted us. To put it plainly, the customer service and communication we experienced was very poor and that is extremely disappointing.

We have stayed at the Boomer Bungalow before and it was perfect again. Carlton landing however was not. Someone was either blocking our drive or blocking us in during our entire stay. We couldn't get into the bungalow on arrival but the property manager quickly helped us out. There was construction traffic and noise everywhere. There was a large outdoor concert in one of the common areas very close to us. There was very loud music most of the night which would be ok I guess if the band wasn't so bad. All in all, it seems like Carlton landing has changed. Maybe it's your kind of place but it's really not mine.

My wife and I stayed in the Boomer Bungalow during a weekend in the beginning of August. We were hoping for (and needing) a relaxing weekend and had heard great things about Carlton Landing. The community and the atmosphere did not disappoint! The people were amazing, the food was spectacular, and the views were incredible! Unfortunately, the stay in the rental and our experience with the rental management was not what we were hoping for.
When we arrived, the rental was clean and refreshingly cold. However, after coming back from the beach late Saturday morning we found that the A/C wasn't working. We left multiple messages on the number for 24 hr. maintenance throughout the weekend. We also submitted a maintenance request Saturday evening through the app but never heard back from anyone in regards to the messages either of us left or the request we made. We also sent an email to Zoe, who had sent us our onboarding email, asking for help. The heat made it difficult to sleep both Saturday and Sunday evening and it made us not want to be in our rental at all which was disappointing since we had come to Carlton Landing for an anniversary trip and to have down-time and to rest.
We left with a soured experience but still hopeful that someone would finally reply to our messages and at least help us understand why our requests for help were not answered or acknowledged. We waited 5 days but never heard back from anyone. We then sent an email to Kayla and David who are the Directors of Hospitality and Operations, respectively. We did not receive one until 12 days after our email and the day after I called and left a respectful voicemail at David’s office.We just received a short email from Kayla saying: “I am terribly sorry for the experience you had. There are major changes happening in our community soon especially regarding the Rental Program. The reply and the timing weren’t what we were expecting from a place that we had heard so much g

The room was clean and beautiful, the location was great, but by far the best part of the whole trip was the general friendliness and welcoming attitude of everyone there. When I originally booked the spot, I was a little worried since many of the homes are permanent residents, who I though would be at best apathetic to the fact that we were strangers in their community, but everyone (literally everyone) we encountered was friendly and seemed genuinely happy that we were there! If you decide to stay in Carlton Landing, make sure to spend some time at the "Meeting Place" cafe. The workers there really go all out to make you feel welcome. We only stayed for the weekend, but by the time we left, we felt like we were leaving old friends. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience we had!

Other than the water being off on Sunday morning and not being able to take a shower it was great. The one thing I would suggest is to not tell people to go park their car three blocks away. That's a huge turn off. There should be parking on site. I wouldn't stay there again for that one issue.
