Situated in Lake Anna, this charming house for $524 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Peaceful Perch The Peaceful Perch is a lakefront retreat nestled among the trees overlooking Lake Anna. The Peaceful Perch is located in a gated community on the public side of Lake Anna. Lake Anna is one of the largest freshwater inland reservoirs in Virginia, covering an area of 13,000 acres. This comfortable three-bedroom, three-bath home is designed to accommodate a large family or two smaller families. The bedrooms and dining area can accommodate up to 10 people,(6 adults/4 children), with play areas and quiet spaces for both adults and kids. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor and a full bath. Each of the main floor bedrooms have a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. The upstairs master suite has a queen bed and full bath and its own private covered lakeside balcony for a cozy, quiet respite away from indoor household activities or just relaxing. There is a queen size sofa sleeper in downstairs basement recreation room and a 3rd full bathroom. The main level provides ample connected space for socializing while cooking, dining, listening to music or watching movies/TV. With a WIFI Connection you can log into your Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu or other entertainment Apps on TVs on the main floor and in the lower recreation room. There is also a slate pool table in the downstairs recreation room. Opening one of the three sliding glass doors on the window wall expands the living area onto a large deck, with its outdoor chairs and lounges. Enjoy relaxing on the massive deck that overlooks the lake. The deck also includes a gas grill and dining tables with chairs to expand dining options. The balance of sun and shade make the deck an inviting space for relaxation throughout the day and evening. Perfect for entertaining! A walk down the staircase (consisting of 88 steps) takes you to a deep-water boat dock that has electricity and a 10ï¿½ x 10ï¿½ area at the end of the dock provides ample space for sun bathing or relaxing between swims. The dock is located is in a No-Wake cove that is nice for floating in the water lounges/tubes. The No-Wake zone opens into a larger cove that is away from the main lake and is perfect for kayaking or paddle boarding. Itï¿½s a great location for tubing with small children. You can put your boat and/or jet skis in the water at NO COST at the nearby Pine Harbour community boat ramp and keep your boat conveniently at the house dock for the extent of your stay. In addition, there are many local businesses that will rent boats on a daily or weekly basis. We provide one double kayak, 2 single kayaks and 2 paddle boards, as well as many floating options such as, tubes, lounges and noodles. There is a gas firepit on the deck and a wood burning firepit in the front yard for roasting marshmallows, sï¿½mores or otherwise extending a relaxing day into the night with a glass of wine, beer or your favorite beverage. House Rules: To ensure your sense of security cameras are located on the exterior of the home. Do not touch the cameras or you will forfeit your security deposit. NO cooking over the gas fire pit-on the deck Indoor wood stove- NOT for guest use. When using the wood fire pit, please make sure that the hose is on and close by when using and make certain to not leave a fire unsupervised due to fire risk. Make sure the fire is out before leaving the area. No wood provided. Life jackets are to only be used for our kayaks and paddle boards. Do not take them out on rented boats or your own boats. Seven-night minimum during the summer. No Events Allowed Outdoor Activities: The No-Wake zone opens into a large cove that is away from the main lake and is perfect for learning the paddle board or just relaxing in the water lounges. It is a great location for tubing with small children. INDOOR ACTIVITIES With WIFI Connection you can log into your Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu or other entertainment Apps on TVs on main floor and in lower entertainment room. A slate pool table for the adults. Things to know: Located on the public side of Lake Anna This property features external security cameras at each entrance, all facing outward. This is a well-situated and nicely maintained home, with plenty for our teenage son and his friends to do, and good separate spaces for adults and kids to each do their own thing. The teens loved the kayaks and paddle board, pool/ping-pong table. Our favorite aspects were the totally fenced deck for the dogs and smaller children, quiet cove for water activities, very bike/walk/jog friendly neighborhood and proximity to stores and restaurants. There are 3 levels in the house (each with bathroom), and many stairs down to the dock, which was workable for us but would be a challenge for some. As other reviews note, the tv setup to stream was not intuitive; we got the basement tv to stream, but not the living room, but we didn't try that hard. Loved the family style dining room and deck setup, the grill, and the gas firepit. Kitchen was well-stocked and clean; we got fast responses on any missing/broken items from the management company. I think we would have enjoyed the firepit and garage foosball set up, too, if we had more time and no rain the first day. We would absolutely return again.

The house is in a quiet, private location with a great layout inside. The dock is set in a cove so also very private. The house had everything we needed. Plenty to do both inside (pool and ping pong tables) and outside (kayaks, paddle boards, floats, fishing). Plenty of space on the deck for eating and lounging. We would definitely stay again.

This property is located in a gated community that is clean, and quiet with trees all around. Looking out at Lake Anna from the master bedroom feels like you are in a treehouse. The dock was perfect for fishing, swimming, floating, paddle boarding, and kayaking. We packed a few drinks, lite snacks, and a speaker to chill and relax on the dock. The large deck has several seating areas. Shade hit the large table at the perfect time of day for our family to sit and enjoy eating crabs. Plenty of indoor games, ping pong, and a pool table to enjoy at night or rainy days. Our week at this property was everything we needed.

The house is really clean and makes it way to easy to stay inside. The lake access is very close. Private dock with paddle boards and kayaks to use. Will certainly be coming back

This home was the perfect retreat for our family of 6 adults. We spent the majority of our time simply hanging out on the dock enjoying the quiet cove. Plenty of floats, paddle boards, lounge chairs and the umbrella were welcome amenities. Shaded deck was perfect for morning coffee. We're all looking forward to returning for a longer stay next time.

Great house with plenty of space. Very clean. Amazing back deck with views of Lake Anna. Fire pit was great on cold nights. Close to hiking, brewery, cidery, and grocery store. Wish we stayed longer but will definitely return.

We really enjoyed the property. We took advantage of the kayaks which was super fun. Nice extra touches in home like games and some extra paper products. Only negative was the water pressure in the shower which was awful, not sure if anything can be done about that. But would stay again. Thank you

We really enjoyed the property, location was great, nice dock with kayaks and paddle boards. The house also has a great fire pit and nice deck. Dock side realty has 2 locations, who knew. I went to the wrong one and was fortunate someone was still there after hours to inform me where to go. Also, rules and regs would be better consolidated in one place and on one page. Would have been even better if the many cobwebs were removed and deck blown/swept prior to our arrival. Overall a nice location and property. Would definitely recommend.
