Cleanliness, and near to wadi rum visitor center
We felt really unsafe throughout our entire stay because the camp's massive windows made it easy for anyone to enter. Unfortunately, our fears were realized when we went to the dining hall for breakfast, having locked our tent. Upon returning to our room, I caught Abdullah (the co-host of the camp and part of the family-run business) rummaging through our baggage. He immediately fled through the windows upon seeing me. I chased him, shouting for help, and when other guests noticed the incident and questioned me, he returned to my tent, profusely apologizing and showing his cut thumb, portraying himself as a victim to gain sympathy. He pleaded with me not to mention the incident to anyone. This experience left us feeling extremely unsafe and unable to eat breakfast. We wanted to leave the camp as soon as possible. After leaving, we felt that our movements were constantly monitored by them to prevent us from approaching the tourist police until we caught our bus to the next destination. We had chosen Shakria to experience the local culture, as it is run by a family, hoping to feel like a part of the family, but they shattered our trust and faith in them. No vegetarian options despite telling them our preferences. The jeep tour was essentially just a transfer service, with no explanation of provided about the stops. We were left to explore the places without any guidance. Our experience in Wadi Rum was tainted by this incident, and we wouldn't recommend the place if safety and trust are priorities.

The accommodation is basic but clean,with all the essentials and a beautiful big window facing the desert.

Great place with a very kind and open host Mohamad and friendly staff. The tent was clean, cosy, warm (this was winter time) with all necessary facilities (AC, wifi, bathroom). We had a dinner included in price which was excellent (Zarb – underground Bedouin barbecue). Then some traditional music and dance together with locals – super pleasant. Breakfast was good too.
Abdullah, co-host, shared in advance a pricelist for jeep tours and camel rides. Price was per jeep (all 4 people included) - very affordable. We had a great guide-driver Hussain – very kind and helpful.
A good thing about this camp is possibility to reach it by your own regular car and park there. The road is fine from both sides – either Shakaria or Wadi Rum Visitor Centre.
This is definitely the place to come back again!

Było wspaniale! Miejsce jest przepiękne, gospodarze kochani, pomocni i serdeczni, jedzonko pyszne. Namiot był ciepły, czysty i bardzo ładny, widoki zapierały dech w piersiach, a jeep trip był wspaniałym przeżyciem. Dziękujemy!

Zelo ustrežljivi gostitelji.
Organizirajo tudi izlete s terencem in kamelami.. Na željo otrok so nas peljali na sand boarding. Naš voznik Hussein je bil odličen, izkazal se je tudi kot dober fotograf. Med tem, ko smo čakali na sončni zahod, nam je skuhal čaj.
Zvečer so nam postregli z okusno večerjo, pripravljeno na tradicionalen način..peka v posodi pod zemljo. Posrbljeno je bilo tudi za vegetariance. Po večerji je sledil še zabavni program - prikazali so nam svoj tradicionalen ples in nas povabili, da se jim pri plesu pridružimo.
Vse je bilo krasno, samo postelje so bile zame pretrde.
Zvečer smo imeli majhne težave z delovanjem klime, a so težavo takoj odpravili.

Loved everything about this place. We did a 4-hour jeep drive around Wadi Rum -- so incredible. The meals were lovely, although warm breakfast option is good during the cold months. It was cool seeing the food demonstration at night.
Please do not turn the heat off in the middle of the night. We froze, making for an uncomfortable night's sleep.

Tesis de herşey çok temiz, mis kokulu. Konuma kendi aracınız ile ulaşabilirsiniz. Akşam yemeği yöresel ve lezzetli ve yeterli çeşitliliktedir. Sabah kahvaltısı çok güzel bir manzara eşliğinde çay, kahve, meyve suyu hersey yeterli kadar vardı. Odalar, tuvalet temizdi. Üşümedik. Herkes çok ilgiliydi. Bizi karşılayan beyfendi çok kibar ve iyi biriydi. Jeep tur satın aldık. Hüseyin tur rehberimizdi. Çölde bize Bedevi çayı ikram etti. Çok çok lezzetliydi ve çok memnun kaldık. L'accueil très chaleureux de Fateh et Houcein et du reste de l'équipe sur place. Ils ont été des hôtes exceptionnels sur tous les aspects de notre séjour.
Le dîner et le petit déjeuner étaient très bons et copieux. Enfin le camp est bien situé, assez isolé des autres camps, avec une chambre avec une grande baie vitrée pour admirer le désert. La balade en jeep pendant 3 heures a parfaitement conclu la nuit passée au camp, avec la découverte de différentes points d'intérêt dans le désert. Merci à toute l'équipe, au plaisir de vous revoir !

Ci è piaciuto tutto! Confermo le impressioni dei commenti di altri ospiti italiani. Suggestiva la grigliata cotta nella sabbia e il ballo serale. Simpatiche le due guide, Hussein e Audi, che ci hanno portato nel giro di 8 ore (Wadi Rum) un giorno e 4 ore il giorno dopo (Al Kharaz più a nord). Noi eravamo in 4 e si sta un po' in cabina, un po' in cassone, la temperatura non è male, vestirsi per il vento. In tenda ci sono coperte e non abbiamo sofferto il freddo, consigliato vestiti termici o copertina termica per stare proprio al top. Il pacchetto proposto è ottimo, il cibo tutto buono. Noi abbiamo scelto una notte e un giorno e mezzo.
La posizione del campo esterna al Wadi Rum permette di parcheggiare la propria auto davanti e farsi portare ovunque poi, lo ho scelto per questo. Alba e tramonto sono molto belli.
Hussein è un ottimo fotografo, mitiche le sue "1,2,3 foto jump"! Abbiamo saltato tanto! Non parlano proprio bene inglese, consiglio di limitarsi a discorsi semplici. Ottimi i Toyota 4x4, sono nuovi! Grazie per tutto! Tornerei! Il Fennec Desert Team Italian 4x4 è stato qui!

Pekne pohodlne ciste ubytovanie, personal bol velmi ochotny, mily a priatelsky. Hlavne chlap menom Husajn bol velmi mily a vtipny, urobil nam uzasny vylet autom do puste, krasny zazitok. Vecera a ranajky boli tiez chutne a stedre. Izby a okna su orientovane na krasny vychod slnka v pusti. Skvele ubytovanie za vybornu cenu.

Reservamos jeep tour, y Houssain, el chico que nos llevó, muy simpático y atento.
Partiendo de que todos los campamentos son parecidos, no creo que me volviera a quedar en este. Aunque el personal en general eran majos, el dueño precisamente no nos dio muy buena impresión, además de que intento cobrarnos extra con el precio del tour dos veces (cuando el precio está prefijado).

En general, decepcionante porque podrían ser mejor con un poco mas, la ropa de cama y baño muy usados, la fosa aceptica huele, la decoración full muy rustico y wifi... malo...pero no he encontrado comentarios negativos para como el mio, espero que le sea constructivo y mejore.

The "tents" were not really tents, we had all the facilities you would expect at a hotel.
Desert trip was great, our guide was the brother of the ownner, he told us a lot about the desert and life as a bedouin. He also cooked at open fire for us, delicious!
In the evening they cooked the famous chicken/lamb in the sand. It was fabulous.

Property was almost at the begining of the desert so you can reach it with your car (if you have one). Our tent was very clean and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast included in our price and all the food was very delicious! We also booked jeep tour at the property for 5 hours (lunch was included) and it was amazing. Price is 40JOD/person. Last day we booked camel ride for one hour (20JOD/person) which I highly recommend, it’s a unique experience.
You can’t get beer there or anywhere near the camp, the closest liquot store is in Aqaba (almost 70 km out of desert).

We like the accommodation and dinner was good. Staff is helpful and friendly. The jeep tour with "we go" Hussein was awesome. Even though he didn't speak English well, we were able to enjoy the tour.

Gran experiencia en el desierto de Wadi Rum, teníamos el desayuno y la cena incluidos, el primero el típico del pais, en cuanto a la cena bastante abundante y preparaban el asado enterrado en la tierra, amenizada con música y e incluso bailes con el personal. Contratamos el tour por el desierto de 8 horas con ellos, que se nos pasaron volando, Hossein nuestro guía nos saco mil fotos y nos preparo el almuerzo en medio del desierto. Las habitaciones tienen aire acondicionado y un gran ventanal por el que ves el desierto al despertar

Spacious room, clean, good view, friendly owner, low room rate with dinner(so delicious!) and breakfast included. AC for whole night, Wifi, free water, convenient parking, we had everything we need. We booked camel ride with the owner with very reasonable price, such an unforgetable experience. 100% satisfied with this booking.
We asked for paid lunch after the camel ride. The lunch was very simple, like some snack, we had to look for something else to eat. But the lunch was not part of our booking, that was extra service asked by us, so it's not a problem. We highly recommend this camp!
