We have been coming to HH for years as a family and this was our first time at this property. It has everything you could want...close 5 min walk to the beach, huge screened-in porch where the whole family could enjoy our meals, hot tub and pool, 2 master suites and nice-sized bedrooms. It was also next door to a restaurant/bar so if you wanted to walk over from the beach for lunch, a cocktail or some live music, no need to drive! It was also walkable to Coligny Plaza for some shopping, dinner, morning coffee, etc. We will definitely be staying again!

This is our second time staying at 1 Bayberry and we loved it once again. The location is great! Convenient to the beach, Coligny, and Loggerhead Beach Bar. The house sleeps well for several couples and kids. The leasing company was great. Very organized and responsive! We were informed of all details prior to arrival and they were very responsive to any questions. Look forward to returning.

We enjoyed the property, pool and convenience to the beach and walking trails. The pool was dirty, but maybe because of the hurricane that had rolled through a couple days prior. The toilets had trouble flushing and the trash cans were full when we arrived. Other than that we had a great stay.

I would say that for the most part all was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. The fridge didn't work well on the first night which was unfortunate because we had some stuff we needed to put in there and also had planned on going to the store that night.
I called and they said that it would work by the next day. It did which really didn't make sense.
The dryer upstairs makes an awful noise so certainly couldn't go laundry when anyone was trying to sleep.
Some of the utensils in the kitchen were old and hard to use like the can opener.
Like I said, for the most part we had a great time and the house fit our needs.

Location a 10! Great pool and easy 4 min. walk to gorgeous beach. We had 16 people (8 kids/8 adults) and it wasn't crowded. For the price the property was not up to par though. Several appliances didn't function - the dishwasher & one set of washers/dryers. Mgt co. brought paper plates/cups to try to help but with 16 people cooking that was a drop in the bucket. Many shades had no cords (couldn't be raised); didn't feel very clean and when I tried to use the vacuum cleaner to clean up the mess from the huge mirror over the sink that crashed to the floor, I saw why - 100% clogged with dirt & hair (they did bring another over - mirror was never replaced which made drying/styling hair and makeup a challenge); faucet in our bathroom literally fell off; on 2 very hot days the AC upstairs couldn't keep up and was 78 inside; beds - ok but I'd bring my own pillow. Maintenance was needed!

We had a large group and this house met our needs. Very easy walk to beach on shaded path. Beds comfortable. It was nice have two tv areas. Toilet was stopped up but it was promptly repaired. Having two sets of washer & dryers was helpful. An extra fridge would have been good. Would rent again

The cleanliness of the rental was impressive, and the beds were really comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep. The deck with its large tables was perfect for enjoying meals and spending time outdoors. The air conditioning worked excellently, which was a huge relief, and the pool and hot tub were of a nice size, providing a great way to relax.However, there were a few negative aspects of my stay that I would like to bring to your attention. Firstly, there were a lot of visits from various companies to fix things, which was a bit disruptive to our stay. Additionally, the non-operational Wi-Fi and cable TV were inconvenient, especially when we needed to stay connected for work purposes. The Wi-Fi was fixed on Tuesday but remains very spotty through the house. The pool and hot tub were also dirty upon arrival, and the hot tub's chlorine floating dispenser was empty, which caused the water to turn cloudy. Although the pool company arrived mid-stay to clean both the hot tub and pool and added chlorine to shock the hot tub and added chlorine to the dispenser, unfortunately, that treatment did not allow us to use the hot tub for the remainder of our stay. Furthermore, there were no hangers in the closets, which made it challenging to unpack and organize our belongings.In addition to these issues, I would also like to bring to your attention that the outdoor shower head was broken during our stay, and despite being mentioned several times to the staff, it was never fixed as of Wednesday afternoon.I understand that this is a new property that you are managing, but I believe that families renting should not feel the transition. Despite these issues, we still enjoyed our stay overall, and we appreciate your attention to these matters. I would like to request that you take steps to address these concerns, as I believe they will improve the experience of future guests.The management company is the main issue.

Location was great. Short walk to the beach. Easy bike ride to Coligny or Sea Pines. House was clean, but furnishings are very dated. We didn't mind taking a group of kids, but could definitely use an update. Pool and hot tub were nice. Hot tub turned green after a few days. Management company got someone out there, but they had to dump in a bunch of chlorine so we were not able to get in it for two days of our trip. Overall I would recommend the property. If you're looking for fancy, this isn't it, but clean and close to everything was what made it work for us.

We had a wonderful time! The location was perfect, a 5 minute walk to the beach, and easy bike ride to shopping, restuarants, coffee shops, etc. We loved the house, although some of the furniture was very worn and the kitchen lacked some cookware and utensils for a large family. The screened-in porch was one of our favorite places. The two large tables provided plenty of room for everyone to eat together.

My family + my sister’s family + our parents rented this house for a week (Memorial Day 2022). We had 6 adults and 6 kids ranging in age from 1-9. The house was fantastic for large groups and extended families. It is much nicer and larger in person than the photos depict. You can’t really tell that there is a huge vaulted ceiling in the main living area making it feel enormous. That room + the huge porch meant the downstairs living room went untouched! We had that much space. The rental company, in particular, Hailey, could not have been more helpful. We have a medically fragile daughter and they literally bent over backwards to help us by rearranging furniture and letting a hospital bed rental company into the house early to set up a place for my daughter to sleep. The walk to the beach was easy, the pool was great. I will say that with 12 people and 6 kids, the pool was in need of serious attention when we left. We were careful to use the outdoor shower before jumping in after the beach but there was so much sand. A mid week cleaning and chemical check would be nice. There are a few “fixable” cons of the house. 1) There were not enough forks. We didn’t have 12 forks!! 2) the outdoor seating is awful. The upstairs porch is HUGE and amazing. But there is ZERO comfortable seating. After the kids retired, the adults had to sit on wooden benches or very uncomfortable upright seating on the porch to hang out. We desperately wanted a comfy sofa and cushioned chairs to enjoy our morning coffee or late night adult time on. There are 2 huge picnic tables on the porch that could Literally seat 25 people for dinner. But the house doesn’t sleep 25 people. I wish they’d move one of the picnic tables down under the covered part by the pool and use that extra space on the porch for more comfortable seating. Oh and the house was sparkling clean. We are picky about that!! Plenty of linens a

My family of 7 had a great stay. Plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was well equipped. The pool and hot tub were great, but got a bit dirty by day 5. The cleaners came early on request and we were able to enjoy our last day/night in a clean pool. Beach was super close and easy to get to. Great week!

Great House very spacious
Great House very spacious. The house was exactly as shown. Very clean, had everything we needed. It’s not on the beach but it’s a short walk the pool and hot tub or a nice feature I would recommend getting the pool heater if you go during March or April it’s an extra fee but well worth it.

Renting the property was easy. The house was older pool needs some maintenance not tub was nice location is great. We traded this year for closer to the ocean and we’re a little disappointed in the house .. downstairs bedrooms can hear every little noise upstairs

Family Vacation
This was a great place to stay for families. We enjoyed the large porch and swing; it was great having two laundry facilities. It was an easy walk to beach. The screened in porch was great in the mornings and late evenings. The outside shower was a plus for rinsing off after the beach. We were a little overwhelmed that there were no sheets for the pullout; we thought these would be provided. Overall, we were pleased with the house and would return another year.

What I would suggest to move our rating to 5 stars would have been more generous allowance for things like toilet paper and garbage bags. With the rates we paid trying to skimp on basic necessities seemed a little chintzy. Also 6 cereal bowls for 11 people was an irritant as well.

Furniture and kitchen items were not as nice as I would expect for $1000/night, patio tables were dirty and there were bugs in the house.

We walked to the beach everyday as it was so close. The dishes and kitchenware were clean for the most part, although some of the utensils and coffee mugs needed a little extra cleaning. There was adequate dishwashing and laundry pods to get us through the trip. The large screened in porch was really great to have. Distance to shopping and food was ideal. The only issue was that the BBQ was not clean enough to use, and there was no propane in it. There, however, was a small Weber grill so we got some charcoal and used this instead. We relaxed very well here, It was a great vacation, and I would highly recommend 1 Bayberry Lane. Loved it!

What a great home! We were there for my daughter’s wedding this weekend and this home was perfect. It is newly remodeled and in great condition inside and out. It is very nicely decorated and very clean. For us, the highlights were the great location, a wonderful screened porch with lots of seating that was great for meals with family and friends, a relatively large pool with a hot and cold shower building, TVs in all rooms, and a new hot tub by the pool (which was a hit!). We had multiple family units staying in the home and this home works very well for that, with bedrooms, bathrooms, and a living area both upstairs and down. We had a great time and highly recommend this great home.

Fantastic! What a great home! We were there for my daughter’s wedding this weekend and this home was perfect. It is newly remodeled and in great condition inside and out. It is very nicely decorated and very clean. For us, the highlights were the great location, a wonderful screened porch with lots of seating that was great for meals with family and friends, a relatively large pool with a hot and cold shower building, TVs in all rooms, and a new hot tub by the pool (which was a hit!).
We had multiple family units staying in the home and this home works very well for that, with bedrooms, bathrooms, and a living area both upstairs and down.
We had a great time and highly recommend this great home.
