Of course, there's nothing like an al-fresco dining experience, so be sure to take a few meals out on the balcony to enjoy the salty sea air and good conversation. The private washer and dryer will ensure everyone looks their best. The home even includes a fenced outdoor area for the family dog that joins the trip. Things to know Dog-friendly If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. Really great home, excellent location. Comfortable and well stocked. We did not bring a pet, but very thoughtful pet accommodation. Fenced area, and closed porch.

This place was just right for us. They have everything you might need. There ia a small fenced in area attached to the deck that the dogs could go down and go potty without having to put a leash on them. The beach is just down the road and too the left. Perfect walking distance. There were plenty of bath towels, paper towels, toilet paper, and trash bags for us with most left over. The refrigerator was good and cold and there is an ice maker in the freezer. Once I got the hang of the lock we were golden. There is a front and back deck. The views were great. We walked on the beach with our dogs several times.There were beach towels in one of the closets, though we didnt need them. It was clean when we got there and we even got a text saying it was ready early. There are a few games in the second bedroom closet and a few dog toys in a basket on the washer in the hall closet. Next time we will bring some of our dogs old toys to add to it. They sent us an email with what needed to be do e before we left, just load and start the dishwasher before you leave. If you have time strip the bed sheets. Turn off all the lights and lock the doors. Easy.

Nice house with front and back balconies. Front balcony wraps around the side of the house which has a stairway to the small fenced area for your dog. Dog toys and dog bed provided which was nice. I think there had been a previous dog accident on the love seat couch in the living room because it had a faint smell like urine.
With that said, it was still a nice house and would stay again. There was enough toiletries for a week for the two of us, including coffee filters, pots/pans etc. There were 3 laundry soap pods and 3 dishwasher pods provided. Be sure to bring your own coffee since there is none provided, nor any seasonings whatsoever. This was a bit of a disappointment since our experience with all past VRBOs provide a starter amount which usually includes some snacks too.

Will definitely stay again. This place was perfect for families with fur babys. Close to the beach, small fenced in area for pups to be safe. Everything humans needed to feel at home as well.

Dog could just walk out door to secure deck with fenced in small yard space attached. Great ac. Short walk or drive to beach. We just got through booking again for the spring.

Excellent experience. Property is located within a five minute stroll to the gulf beach, across the street from the northern shore, and a five minute drive from either end. House was big enough to feel relaxing but not so big that you felt lost. Very pet friendly as well. Fenced in area so we could open the door, let the dog go take care of business, and not have to worry or take her out on a leash every time. Will definitely look into this place again next time.

Location was perfect. The views and the weather was amazing when we were there. Having the personal washer and dryer was a plus. The kitchen could use some upgrades. The fridge door is rusted, and the pots/pans selection was poor, along with cooking utensils. Other than those items, we enjoyed everything else, and would likely stay there again.

Check in was so simple and easy. The property was clean and very nice. Our only inconvenience was the dryer didn’t work and we were not told in advance. However, after speaking to someone in the office we were apologized to and were told they’d pick up our clothes to dry them if needed. Very accommodating. Also, it was in a great location!

We enjoyed our stay on Dauphine Island and in the house. The amenities are great - however, take additional kitchen trash bags and paper towels. Only 1 roll of paper towels and only the trash bag in the trash compactor. Other than that, all good. Make sure you do get some good insect repellant - the mosquitos are huge and have a huge appetite for blood - LOL. Our fur babies loved going to the beach and out each night for ice cream. I do recommend that you rent a golf cart for your stay so that you can see the whole island on island time. The TV in the main bedroom did not work. We contacted Vacasa and the owner is going to replace it ... we were not there to watch TV so it was no big deal to us ...

This place is great. Even though it’s not ON the beach, access is so easy. Walking, it’s only 0.25 mile from the doorstep to the water. The owner also provides two passes to beach parking (certain sections only), but we never used them since the walk was so easy.
Property was clean, beds were comfortable, toiletries were provided, and living space/kitchen were great.
The only issue we had was that the weather didn’t cooperate, so we couldn’t go to the beach as much as we wanted.
