About this house rental
Nestled in Lake Martin, this charming house for $724 per night is a great option for your next trip. This incredible lake house is the perfect spot for you, whether you're wanting a quiet couples’ getaway, an extended family vacation, or in town for graduation or an Auburn football game! We are located on a large, private lot in a quiet slough where kids can swim and kayak safely. Travel to some of the greats such as Chuck's Pizza and Chimney Rock - that are just minutes away by water. Four private bedrooms, two lofts, and one common area sleep 16 comfortably. The main house and a guest house make this location perfect for multiple families. The main house has 3 bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area with fantastic views of the lake. The guest house has one bedroom, two loft areas with queen mattresses, a full bathroom, a common area with a set of full size bunk beds, and a living area, with Smart TV. We affectionally call it, “The Dorm.” In the main house, the master bedroom has a king bed, bedroom 2 has two sets of twin XL bunk beds (sleeps 4 adults and/or children), and bedroom 3 has a queen bed. The main house sleeps 8. In the guest house, the bedroom has a queen bed and both loft mattresses are queen. The common area has one set of full size bunk beds. The guest house sleeps 8. There are televisions located in the living room and master bedroom of the main house, as well as the living area of the guest house. Wifi is available. Outside there is a brand new dock (finished in April 2024) with plenty of patio furniture and cleats for securing watercraft. Off the main house you will find a sun shade, dining area for 8, and a propane gas grill. Below the house is a covered seating area with a couch, two swivel rockers, and three chaise loungers. Four kayaks (two are youth sized) and one paddleboard are available for guest use! Lastly, our favorite outdoor seating area is the fire pit. The view is absolutely stunning and here you will see some of the most breathtaking sunrises. By land, we are conveniently located near several restaurants (Niffer's, Oskars & Lake Martin Pizza Co.), Dollar General, 35 minutes to Auburn and three miles from the public boat ramp.

Stayed here for my daughter’s summer graduation from Auburn. We had grandparents and adult kids and grandchildren with us and everyone had a wonderful time. House was very clean and beds comfy. There are only a few steps up to the main house which was ideal for our older folks. We bought wood and made s’mores over the fire pit and grilled burgers on the gas grill that is there. The sunrises and sunsets were incredible and the upstairs has a full wall of windows overlooking the lake to enjoy the view! Highly recommend!

This place is amazing ! It’s our 7 th family trip to the lake with my grown children and grands ; the guest house was enjoyed by the older kids and one set of parents and the bunk room was perfect for the other kids and the other beds are very comfy for the adults! It was very clean and the kitchen is well stocked with all u need but bring toilet paper with a big group. There were plenty of towels and instructions are all laid out clearly for where to put stuff back in the kitchen; we also loved that there were lots of hooks to hang wet things and the sunroom and porch below are super for hanging out in the evenings and early mornings. Since we went in early Aug we encountered biting flies our first day so bring bug spray ; not many mosquitoes at all !
I really wish the ladder had a few extra rungs because it was difficult for the 60 year olds getting out of the water (maybe the water was low; I’m not sure)
The extra plus at the last minute was the blob which was a major hit with the kids and we rented jet skies for a day ; it’s a nice private slough with minimal boat traffic!
Overall, it was one of the best of all of our trips and we would definitely stay there again! Super clean and host was readily available for questions before the trip!

Very clean and very easy to navigate. Communication with the property owner was very accessible when a small issue arose but that was very small and easily fixable. The property owner lays out the expectations and makes it easy to follow. Great stay.

This charming house is smartly designed, well equipped, and offers beautiful lake views on a peaceful, tucked-away slough—but still convenient to nearby attractions by boat or car. The house and accompanying guest house were perfect for our family of eight—ranging from 8 yrs to 70 yrs old. Nice outdoor spaces, including covered patio, fire pit, and boat dock. The floating lily pad for water play and the two kayaks were great extras. Also, can’t say enough about the responsive host. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home. Was perfect for my daughters 16th birthday. She and her friends had the guest house and loved every minute of it! Any questions we had, Nikki was a quick text away with an answer. She is super easy to work with. We will be back for sure!!

Family Vacation
This home was one of our favorite places we have rented on Lake Martin. It was very clean and well-stocked with more than we needed. The water at the end of the dock was very clean (no leaves or pine straw). It’s about a five minute boat ride to Chuck’s and Harbor Point Marina. The property manager was very attentive to us and the property.

Excellent Stay
We had our Auburn girls trip at this cozy, beautiful home this year. It slept 8 very comfortably (and would sleep many more!). Beautiful lake view and from both the house and the cottage.

The View-not the TV one --the Real One
The overall stay was perfect--Nikki was a great host--only a couple of questions but she was quick to respond! The view of the lake from the house was really nice--so relaxing! We enjoyed hanging around the fire pit and enjoying the scenery! You can't help but feel relaxed once you arrive! Looking forward to our next occasion at Lake Martin!

We had 13 people, 2 boats (with trailers) and 4 vehicles and had plenty of room - granted we were in the lake pretty much the whole time. Highly recommend and we will be back!

The Carrell family could not have had a more enjoyable, relaxing family trip to Lake Martin. The property was amazing. The Caballero’s were amazing property host. They have truly made a place that you would want to come back year after year. The property location was very private and a perfect location on the Lake. The boat house was a great spot for overflow from the main house and all of the different spots to sit and relax outside were wonderful. The glassed in room in main house that overlooked the lake was so cozy. We all could have stayed right there. We can’t wait until our next trip!

Excellent property on Lake Martin.
Excellent lake house and property on Lake Martin. Great location on the lake for a quick boat ride to Chuck's Marina for Pizza, Chimney Rock, and Goat Island. Also nearby are stores and restaurants. Plenty of room for the 9 of us that stayed. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a week long stay. The guest house, aka Bungalow as we called it was a cool place too! We all enjoyed everything the property had to offer, such as the many places to sit and lounge around to relax. We spent many hours swimming in the lake from the dock and exploring in the kayaks. The kids enjoyed the Lilli Pad too. We also enjoyed winding down the evening sitting around the fire pit roasting marshmallows and listening to the frogs. Overall our stay at the lake house was most enjoyable and can't wait to return. Thank you!

Perfect Birthday weekend
This Home is absolute perfection. Beautifully decorated. The beds and couches are super comfy. It is in a perfect location with a little protected area for swimming a playing on the Lilly pad. plenty of outside spaces to enjoy. the guest house was perfect since we had 6 teenage girls with us celebrating my daughter's sweet sixteen. It gave them a little privacy away from the adults to just be silly. We made some awesome memories here. It was so much fun everything from kayaking to Jumping off the deck to playing hide and go seek in the dark. it was the perfect birthday weekend.
