Communication was easy and great. Everything in the place was awesome. Only thing was the ant infestation. They had a lot of traps so not terrible but had to be extra careful with my sons bottles and our coffee. Otherwise the stay was great and everything was really nice. The photos don’t give it credit for the amount of space it actually is.

My family and I recently stayed at this property while visiting extended family in the area. We were hesitant at first because there were no reviews for this listing but we trusted VRBO and read enough of the listing that we felt comfortable staying there with our 2 year old and 3 month old. The check in process was not very explanatory as they had originally charged us what looked like two deposits- when we reached out a week before arriving we did not receive a response. Regardless when we arrived we did find the key in the lockbox as described and the property manager began communicating with us via text. The house was not very updated and not as clean as you would like. Many items are outdated and don’t work well (dishwasher, dish rack, hair dryer all are not very reliable) but the most concerning was we began seeing ants throughout the house. We immediately notified the manager and decided to have dinner out the first night because of the ants in the home. When we got back home around 7pm the first night (after checking in only a few hours earlier) the novelty key (shaped like a guitar) immediately snapped in half in the door causing us to be locked out. With two small children and it being dark out we weren’t sure what to do. The property manager answered after a few attempts and said she would eventually send a locksmith in a few hours. Thankfully we asked if there was a spare and she asked the home owners to see. We ended up getting back into the house a few hours later and also had to let the locksmith in to fix the door. This was a huge interruption to our stay especially with small children. I would highly recommend this house have a keypad like many other rentals do so that this can be prevented. The rest of the stay continued to be a disappointment as the ants began to quickly multiply throughout the house. We found them in the bedrooms, in the bed, the bathroom and of course the kitchen. The property manager insisted on bringing over some kind of treatment but we felt it would only continue to interrupt our stay and also perhaps be toxic for our newborn. The communication with the property manager was also slightly distasteful and unprofessional which caused us to feel like we were not being treated like true valued customers. Overall I would not recommend this stay unless you are only looking for the bare minimum.
