This charming craftsman style home is the perfect vacation spot for your family to enjoy all that Decorah and the surrounding area has to offer. This home is located on a quiet street less than a block from Phelps Park and 4 blocks to downtown Decorah. When you first arrive you'll find a large front porch to enjoy coffee from Impact or Mill Street Mocha in the morning, ice cream from Whippy Dip or Sugar Bowl in the afternoon and a Pulpit Rock or Toppling Goliath beer in the evening. The entire home has recently been renovated, including new kitchen and both baths. Three comfortable bedrooms rooms and large bath on the 2nd level. Laundry provided in the basement for your use. Private back yard with fire pit. Off street parking for up to four vehicles. Accommodations This home sleeps up to 8 guests. Bedroom #1 – Queen bed (located on the second level) Bedroom #2 – Queen bed (located on the second level) Bedroom #3 – Full bed (located on second level) Main Level – Full-sleeper-sofa (located in living room) This home has 1 1/2 baths. Full bath w/ tub and shower located on the second level Half bath located on the main level Laundry is available onsite but is located in the unfinished basement.

The house is freshly updated and the accommodations were perfect for our family with (5) adults. We loved the front porch for gaming, hanging and dining. It is close to the downtown and the area had plenty to do for our four days.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and time in Decorah. The location of the house was perfect and allowed ease of walking to many places we wanted to visit and worked well for a family of four, two adults, two kiddos and a set of grandparents! Highlights included lots of outdoor activists, a visit and tour of Vesterhiem, exploring the ice cave and waterfall, grabbing food at The Landings, enjoying a beer at a few of the breweries, playing in the river, walking to Whippy Dip, chasing fire flies in Phelps park and so much more. The owners of the house were easy to communicate with, check in was a breeze and the house met the description!

We've been coming to Decorah for 4 years to visit our Luther student. This weekend was graduation and we loved this house! The location, space, and amenities were perfect and the communication was superb. Very clean with excellent remodels to a charming house filled with character.

The property is within walking distance of the historic down town and Phelps park. We walked easily for shopping, dining and to the Vesterheim museum
The running tail was easy to access Trout Running Trail.
The town is very clean and quaint

The timing of our trip coincided with a blast of arctic cold air. Though we didn't get to hike or fly fish as we planned, this house was comfortable, easy to come and go, and the owners are pleasant and accommodating . This is now our go-to location when visiting Decorah.

Our PTA had a weekend retreat in Decorah and we stayed at this beautiful house. It was perfect for a bunch of moms; clean, homey yet minimalistic, and cozy. We were able to easily get downtown by drive or walking. We are hoping to book again in the spring so we can utilize the amazing front porch. Thanks for an amazing visit!

We loved our stay at this property. The house is beautifully renovated with everything we needed. The beds were especially comfortable! The location of this property allowed us to walk to many of the places we visited. It’s so close to parks and the beautiful downtown area. The owners were so kind and readily available for questions. Two of my closest friends and I stayed at Jeremy's house for our 15 year Luther reunion. It was the absolute perfect location in Decorah for getting to all of our old favorite places in the city. The house itself is stunning and incredibly cozy. You can tell they put a lot of thought and time into the remodel. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need for a stay. The bathrooms were brand new and super clean. All of the bedrooms were cozy with very comfortable beds. I've stayed in a ton of rental houses and this house is by far one of my favorites. I would 100% stay here again!

Our team needed a spot to reflect & brainstorm. We found it at this addorable, clean, welcoming home in Decorah! We walked to grab coffee in the morning, worked all day & played games and watched Netflix at night. It was perfect.

The house was beautiful, nice neighborhood. Should probably be listed as one and a half baths as the basement bath is very rudimentary.

Awesome property! Everything is nicely updated, with lots of space—it comfortably slept 4 of us. The property is also in a great location, with the downtown shops and restaurants just a 10 minute walk away. Will absolutely stay again!
