Luxurious place for single or couples

Super nice decoration and huge bed! I had my own private infinity pool! Felt lot of luxury for good price

NOT a hotel, but a condo complex!

This is NOT a hotel! It is a failed condo development with many vacant storefronts for rent across from a big box supermarket. I believe they are trying to recoup their losses and renting out unsold apartments. I canceled my reservation and moved to another hotel.

Perfect spot to explore the town

* Central to the highway and busy downtown area * Supermarket for groceries opposite * Good Towels * Luxurious Towels and Bedding * Quiet Rooftop pool and lounging area, clean and loungers available, toilets and a shower. Towels provided * Good A/C * Quiet and safe location * Our balcony overlooked the jungle and had a tree with lovely local birds to have breakfast with! * Ample storage * Security controlled parking * Powerful waterfall shower * I would stay here again

* Kitchen equipped for self catering, but lacking many basic amenities - dishcloth/towel, kettle, bottle opener, washing up liquid, scissors * Door to hallway not soundproofed and some noisy neighbours trailing the corridors * Apartment blocks, mainly privately owned, so many residential/long term let's, not a holiday vibe * Penthouse Apartment with Private pool, lovely luxury but didn't get sun til the afternoon, and required regular moving around the small area to stay in sunlight * Signage not clear for the buildings being the correct destination or that the parking is connected- it is.

La ubicación.

Primero mi mujer llegó a la noche desde Europa y no la atendieron, teniendo la estadía paga y reservada. Tuvo que irse a un hotel cercano y pagar nuevamente la primera noche, y el hotel no se hizo cargo. Segundo, la habitación que le dieron tenía un olor desagradable a cloacas, mi mujer se quejó y yo tuve que enviar dos mensajes para que la cambiaran de habitación.

Awesome modern design complex

Tuk Tulum is a great place to stay. Huge shout out to the receptionists - Azul and Ashley, they were really friendly and helpfuI. I also really liked the interior and exterior design of the complex, especially the murals, plants and trees - really cool landscaping. The rooftop pool and view on jungle also a huge plus. 10/10 would recommend

Convenient location, campus feel.

Campus-like feel and very clean. Shout out to the very honest cleaner and reception staff who found an item I’d mistakenly left in the safe. Good location - near town centre and supermarket. Comfortable bed.

People were noisy in the corridors and had room parties. The latter was dealt with by security however. Only one lounger on private roof pool area. Spiral stairs quite dangerous and you can hear the wind through the door. Check your booking before you arrive. 2 of us didn’t get what we had booked - apparently there are teething problems with new management and admin.

Décevant

En temps normal, je ne prends pas le temps de rédiger un commentaire, mais croyez-moi, le temps que je perds aujourd'hui vous en fera gagner dans le choix de votre hébergement. Si Tuk Tulum faisait partie de votre liste, passez directement au suivant. Cela évitera les déceptions futures. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été rapidement placés dans notre chambre. Premier hic, le frigo ne fonctionnait pas. Après plusieurs heures d'attente sans action de la part de la réception, quelqu'un vient enfin. Pour nous informer que nous avons été placés dans la mauvaise chambre et nous demander de remballer nos affaires. Après une soirée de perdue, nous avons enfin notre chambre et un frigo qui fonctionne. Tout aurait pu être réglé, c'était sans compter sur la propreté de l'appartement. La chambre n'avait pas été nettoyée depuis un bon moment, comme le démontrent les photos et la quantité aberrante d'insectes en tous genres, donc le sol était couvert. Un paradis pour entomologiste, mais pas vraiment pour nous. Après 2 nuits sans que rien ne soit fait, un petit ménage fut enfin réalisé. Suite à tous ces événements, le manager nous a proposé un remboursement de 50% de notre séjour, une agréable surprise. Trop belle pour être vraie, c'est d'ailleurs pour ça qu'elle s'est avérée fausse. Même après plusieurs relances, nous n'avons toujours rien reçu. Une dernière petite anecdote qui ne fait que confirmer la qualité du service de gestion de cet établissement : la veille de notre départ, quelqu'un est venu toquer à notre porte pour attribuer la chambre à d'autres visiteurs, mais cette fois nous n'avons pas bougé.

A scam

The property was next to a big supermarket where you can find everything.

They charged me double the price of the room just because I have a useless small upper terrace with a mini pool which I never ever used or went up to. First, it was too small and not clean, second and most importantly, the sun never hit that part of the hotel, so it was always shaded and no sun whatsoever. In short, I was paying 380 euro a night , simply for a room which at most can be charged 120. By the way, for the rest of my vacation, I rented the same exact room but without upper useless terrace, for just 90 euro a night, the exact same room and in the same hotel, the only difference is that it was not the hotel management who owned the room so I was renting it directly from the owner. I was really ripped off and scammed by the ridiculously expensive price I had to pay, which I strongly believe they should be refunding half of it at least. I am a big influencer on insta and I am thinking of sharing my bad experience with this hotel there. When I tried to question the extremely high price of the same room when rented from the hotel instead of the owner, the answer was we have to pay salaries of our staff and employees . What a reply, so you make me pay 4 times or more the normal price just to pay your employees 😂😂

Katastrophe

Man weiß nicht wo man anfangen soll, von dreckigen Betten hin zu kompletten Stromausfall für 2Tage bis hin zur Rezeption die von nichts Ahnung hatten. Eine Katastrophe !!! Ich kann das elements hotel gegenüber empfehlen,das war klasse.

Unhöfliches, nicht kooperatives Personal sowie Zimmer, die nicht der Buchung entsprechen

Das Anwesen war an sich schön, doch bei genauerem Hinsehen gab es mehrere Mängel.

Das Zimmer war nicht für drei Personen ausgelegt sondern für zwei. Das gebuchte Schlafsofa war in Wirklichkeit kein Schlafsofa. Eine Person größer als 1,65m hat keine Chance darauf zu schlafen. Es gab weder ein drittes Paar Handtücher noch Bettwäsche, noch ein Kopfkissen, noch eine Bettdecke für das Sofa. Das Personal war sehr unhöflich und hat trotz angepriesenem Service nicht auf unsere Nachfragen reagiert. Als nach über 1,5 Stunden warten endlich Bettwäsche ausfindig gemacht wurde, war diese dreckig. Insgesamt haben uns diese Umstände sowie das nicht hilfsbereite Personal den Aufenthalt verdorben. Ein Aufenthalt dort ist absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Horrible

Las instalaciones son bonitas

El personal es muy grosero, no atienden las necesidades de los huéspedes cuando les solicitas apoyo. Se fue la luz 3 días y aunque lo reportes se tardan mucho en solucionarlo, aparte no había agua caliente para ducharse y no te daban una solución. Solo se disculpaban. Me entregaron mi habitación 1 hora después de solicitar el check in porque aún no estaba limpia. Y cuando al fin me llevaron a mi habitación, no me entregaron la llave. La solicité por un grupo de WhatsApp que crea la administración pero nunca me la llevaron, tuve que ir por ella hasta recepción y me hicieron esperar media hora para entregarme una llave.

Lovely apartment in great location

Great location. 10-15 minute walk to Tulum centre with lots of bars and restaurants on route. Right next to a big supermarket which was handy. Modern apartment and beautifully designed. Pleasant staff. Coffee machine was great, which we used a lot and other good kitchen amenities.

The apartment was mostly clean but not 100%, we did find clumps of hair in the sink and floor. We stayed for 9 nights and cleaner only came the day before we checked out. We wasn’t made aware that you had to request cleaning service, this is information that should be provided on arrival. Cleaner did not show up on day we requested. We booked an apartment with a private pool but the pictures are not accurate with furniture given. We only had one sun lounger which isn’t ideal if there are two of you. You have to pay to use the gym which is quite steep (200 pesos/£10 per day, per person), this adds up if two of you want to use the gym everyday. It becomes very expensive.

Great apartment for the holiday stay with a private pool

a) private pool was very nice b) spacious apartment - loved the space c) good location for reaching both city center and beach area d) supermarket is just a couple of steps away e) condo area is great and well established

a) list of inventory did not match the things available in the apartment b) smell in the bathroom was constantly bad c) be aware that gym is not included - i missed it myself d) dishwasher was leaking e) apartment does not have kitchen towels, simple salt and pepper or sugar. Be aware you need to take care of everything

Cheap luxury Villa, nice but improvements are needed

Modern, spacious and the nice pool with a sunset view

They set a limit of the electricity included in the price only after you book the apartment (unfair) and when we entered the apartment it was extremely hot inside. Long story short: consider adding extra money to the final booking price. Plus, A/C would stop working from time to time. Finally, cutlery and towels provided were not for 7 people but less. We asked and got part of the needed furniture (staff responsive but inattentive).

Super nice condos with a few inconveniences.

The condominiums were very nice and comfortable.

We had to change rooms in the middle of our stay and had to pay extra for going over on the electricity “allowance”.
