Located in Idyllwild-Pine Cove, this attractive cabin for $331 per night is a great option for your next trip. Enjoy the Sunset Views and step inside this CUSTOM 13 sided home hand built by the original owner. Knotty pine floors and ceiling follow the same unique shape. The ceiling is trimmed with live edged pine. The main floor is heated and cooled by a Daiken unit plus a new wood burning stove. Open living, dining and kitchen with upgraded appliances. This west facing home has a 256 square foot deck with spectacular sunsets. This floor also includes 1 bedroom with sliding door to a private deck and a 3/4 bathroom. The lower level includes a large bedroom suite with a split King Bed with sitting area that leads to an enclosed sunroom with year round working jacuzzi and a 3rd deck. A full bath, laundry room and cedar lined closet complete this cozy room. Sleeps 4 comfortably, up to 6 with air mattress upon request . A 2 car carport to keep the elements off of your vehicle during the snowy season. Short Term Rental Permit # RVC-1642 Rates & Payments: When booking our homes online or by phone, you may use the following payment methods: Debit or any major Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. Pets: Pets: We (Do ) allow Dogs There is a $35 dog fee per night; Dogs beyond 1 must be approved; additional pet fees apply per pet per night. *Airbnb and select 3rd party marketing sites will receive a separate charge after the initial booking either via the booking platform (Airbnb Resolutions Center) or direct charge. Require at least 5 days notification for a Friday arrival date or at least 3 days for any other day of the week arrival date. We had a miscommunication about the spa, being told it worked when it didn’t. It’s burnt at the breaker panel. That is not an easy repair. Found that about an hour into our stay as well as the Queen bed upstairs is not a Queen she is a Full (we measured) but very comfortable. The King bed downstairs is extremely comfortable as well. Some of the electrical is questionable, especially the light by the sink. Two days into our stay and we had a flood in the downstairs bathroom, (this was New Years Eve morning) the sewer backed up. We had to shut down water. No showers/ no bathroom. Pack up and luckily they found us another home. After this was all said and done we were offered to extend our stay an extra day for all that we had gone through and a two bottles of Rose. None of us could stay an extra day due to work but we did take a late check out that day. The owner of the home offered no compensation for any of this and if we wanted to go home when all of that happened they would not give us the rest of our money back. You know, the money not used!!!!! I can honestly say we all were not happy with the owner or New Spirit management company with how this was handled.

Hello: The place and the stay were fantastic! The place, town of Idlywild and the people were amazing. 5 Stars! The only thing that we were not happy with was the next door neighbors large dog that barked alot in the early evenings most days. But what really upset us was that dog jumping the property fence and looking in the screen doors on the porch. We had to chase it off several times. My wife while walking our dog had to confront the homeowner a couple of times to tell him his dog was coming off his property at my wife / dog. She resorted to carrying a large stick on her walks. I brought this up when I checked out. They said they new of the house and would have their legal department sent them a letter. It would be great if VRBO would follow up on this issue. Thanks...

We had to go up for a wedding. We booked Eagles Nest since we were being the parents with us. Great mountain house with plenty of room, comfy furniture, and lots of things to make it feel like home. Lots of lights, some just had to figure out where the switches were or plug them in. The only real draw back is the late check in and early check out times.

The domicile itself was fine , but the hot tub didn't work . They sent out 2 different people to look at it but it was never fixed. Also the bath tub that has jets was out next option but that didn't get hotter than luke warm . We asked for something they could do to make it right and they said we signed the contract so they wouldn't help us. Also there was a fallen tree through the back yard fence .

The neighborhood is peaceful and the main deck views of beautiful sunsets and full moon rises were a treat. The main bed was very comfortable and the jacuzzi in the sun room has powerful jets. This is perfect for 1 or 2 couples and can accommodate a couple kids as the main bedroom had a sofa bed. The kitchen has everything you need for simple home cooked meals. Upon leaving one of our dogs wanted to stay, he has great taste. Give this place a try, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

The place was easy to get to. Clean. Plenty of amenities. The one thing I would warn is that that only heating is the wood fire place. Which takes awhile to get going and you can’t leave while it is burning. The wood that was provided would not stay lit. But once we bought wood, it was great.

It was wonderful. It would be a good idea to remember when booking on the phone to remind people that there are some steep stairs. My husband had a little bit of a challenge with that. The couch needs to be replaced. It is broken down and too soft. These are minor things compared to the entire experience. The house is beautiful, well equipped, quiet and exactly what we needed to replenish and rejuvenate! Thank you for letting us stay. :)

It was our Honeymoon and it was the perfect place to unwind from all the craziness of a wedding.. Perfect place to just get away from the busy city. Idyllwild has just enough to enjoy a nice dinner, shopping small town things to do in a day and not feel like you gotta go see a ton of stuff. Exactly what my Wife and I wanted. Definitely already looking for dates for our next visit to The Nest property..

We loved the cabin itself and especially the deck on the 2nd floor where we watched the stars at night and listened to the forest and watched the squirrels during the day. We had a great, relaxing weekend and we all agreed we'd stay here again given the opportunity! Highly recommend.

Lovely home and a great place to stay. Very roomy and perfect if with a pet. Outdoor lights and beautiful sunsets. Only downfall is having to drive the key back to town and drop off - 6 extra miles (3 each way).

Lighting situation a little wonky, but friendly people lovely town. Clean and cute little gem! Still my biggest heartache is submitting my drivers license and credit card information unsecured in an email. Where I will now begin a process of LifeLocking my I’d and credit card information (get new card if necessary). Hopefully me expressing this will help drive positive adjustments for everyone to enjoy the peaceful experience I feel you all like to share… God Bless!
