We were there for a concert at the Xcel Energy Center.
This is a great location to walk to and from the concert. You can walk thru the skywalks too and never go outside.
On check in, they gave us printed out directions for inside or outside walking. It was great!

Easy check-in process.

The hotel is older and shows it's age and the one bar in the lobby is small and doesn't offer alot of food options. Very difficult to get in and out of due to lots of road construction. It's walkable to a few bars/restaurants but not as many as we had hoped. They take a $100 deposit that is supposed to be refunded after your stay when you check in for "amenities such as mini bar etc" yet there are no amenities you pay for in your room, no mini bar. I bought something from the shop downstairs and they charged the card on my room immediately and it was a separate charge that did not go to that $100 and it's been a week and I have not seen the credit back to my card so I will have to call. I will probably not stay here again but it worked for the quick 2 night trip I took. My room was cleaned the day I was there but my friends who stayed there did not get their room cleaned and restocked.

Very convenient... but whew the rooms are straight out of 1995 with the nasty bathroom fixtures to match.
Staff is very friendly though.

From the Front Desk to all its staff were all very kind along with exceptionally outstanding service.

We like the hotel and the room.
And the service...the area outside of the hotel had a certain edge to it.

We stayed on New Year's Eve and even though the hotel was quite busy, we had speedy trips on the elevator to our room on the 16th floor. This hotel is a little older, so the bathroom was a not modern, but it certainly worked just fine. Plan to bring along a charging brick, as there are not USB charging ports in the room.

Although the service is wonderful (loved the cookies we got when we checked in) we weren't impressed with the condition of our room. The fixtures were very dinged up, especially in the bathroom. We hope they have time for a little refurbishing soon.

It was nice

Rooms are quite dated and seemed to not meet the normal Hilton standard on cleanliness. Staff were friendly but not super helpful in understanding whats available at the hotel and how parking works.
This hotel is very noisy with multiple sirens throughout the night and parties going on in other rooms until 4am.

Was not over the moon about our visit I don’t think the thermostat worked in our room so we just cooked all night the front desk people were very nice but never told us where the pool or where breakfast was at check in the first batch of cookies they gave us were hard but the extras we got after that we’re fine (that’s my favorite part of staying at double tree) and we bumped in the cleaning staff and he was so polite and sweet. Didn’t realize we had to pay for breakfast until we got there basic breakfast but $16 ouch the wait staff were very nice though and eager to please

The facility is nice enough, but the parking valets were not welcoming when I parked to get my in-laws from out of state checked in. Also, one of the clerks at the front desk was certainly a repeated sour-puss.

The hoel was clean, safe and convenient walking distance to our concert venue.

It is rundown and in an unsafe area. Our room never got warm, how water took a very long time to heat up. Patches in shower, poorly done. Same around toilet. Carpet is old throughout. Crack in wall, let sound through.

Property is old, in fairly rough condition. Thermostat did not work. Was saying it was set to 75, but the fact we had to add our jackets in top of us for added warmth determined that was not correct. Bathroom was clean but again worn... Older...
Price reflected and staff were great so all in all.. It was acceptable.

Close to the hockey arena and bus route 54 to Mall of America

The construction on the roof right outside our window was very loud. It was great other than that.

It was great that it was so close to the Xcel Center. The room was a little underwhelming in terms of cleanliness (dirty headboards, dusty electronics, musty-smelling towels), but the staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable upon check-in and check-out and made up for it. Would stay here again.

We were able to get an early check in. However breakfast was added cost as was parking, no cookies or water offered. Parking ramp connected was very scary and my car was broken into over the night.

We really enjoyed the bottled water and delicious chocolate chip cookies that we were given at check in.

When a big event is happening at venues around town, it would be nice if the bar stayed open past 11:00. Otherwise, the stay was comfortable. Walls were a little thin as we could hear people talking above us.

All went smoothly, check in was quick. Room was clean and beds were comfortable.
