Our recent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Raleigh, North Carolina, turned out to be a much-needed respite after a challenging journey.
After encountering technical issues that caused us to miss most of the 200th anniversary parade in Savannah, we arrived at the hotel late in the evening feeling exhausted and frustrated.
However, our experience at the Hilton Garden Inn quickly turned our mood around.
Upon entering the hotel, we were warmly greeted by Carl at the front desk. His pleasant demeanor and engaging conversation were a breath of fresh air after our long day. Carl quickly noticed our frustration and took it upon himself to ensure our check-in process was smooth and efficient. While also giving two cold water bottles to set the pace.
We had booked adjoining rooms for our family, and Carl made sure everything was in order, providing clear instructions on wake-up calls, late check-outs, and breakfast options for the following morning.
Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing the perfect environment for a good night's sleep.
Being able to easily move between rooms allowed us to spend quality time with our grandchildren, adding to the overall enjoyment of our stay.
The following morning, we were pleasantly surprised by an on-time wake-up call, as promised by Carl.
As we prepared for the day ahead, we had the opportunity to explore the hotel further and found Carl once again at the front desk, ready to assist guests with a smile.

We had booked two rooms for a park and fly for a vacation. When we arrived we found that the shuttle was broken down.
Then the rooms were old and loud. To top it off there was music playing loudly from an outdoor patio. Loud wnough to hear in the room. This was being played by the hotel.

The hotel was safe and that is good but there was a lot of lack of attention to detail. The sheets and comforter were on the bed sideways and that made us wonder if the sheets had been changed. We did not have any towels so we called the desk and they did bring some up. The refrigerator froze all our food. When we opened the curtain there were gummy worms all over the floor. We ran out of toilet paper and called but did not get any more. There was a lot of trash in the hallway both nights. It was also a bit concerning when we drove around the hotel that the back door was just hanging open. When we went to check out a lady was at the desk checking out she said her room was missing pieces. Cups, shampoo, one pillow and washcloth are just a few things I heard the employee was ruff and defensive with her even though she was not being aggressive. She wanted a printed receipt but he told her he had already sent it to email and would not print one. After watching that we decided not to say anything about our room. We are traveling this weekend and are going to try a different hotel.

My daughter and I arrived about 3:00 am and very tired from a long drive. The front desk clerk was very friendly & accommodating, & the room was comfortable.

We specifically picked this hotel for the indoor pool as this was birthday party for our children and when we checked in, we were told that the pool was not in order. We decided to stay anyway since we had already driven all this way our room smelled like weed, the ice machine machine is out of order. The back door code is out of order. Overall, this was a terrible experience.

Our stay was great. We chose this hotel because of location. The only disappointment was that the water was not hot enough, the toilet handle broke off, and parking was quite tight. Othe than that the staff was great.

My stay at Hilton Garden Inn RDU Airport was amazing. The customer service and facilities are first class. The amenities offered at the hotel like parking is great for travelers flying out of RDU. You must try this hotel.

The rooms were not adjoining as requested. The indoor pool was not heated as I was told. I reserved the rooms 2 weeks ahead of time then called 1 week ahead to confirm information about the pool and adjoining rooms. These needs were not met.

My initial king room had issues (door didn’t lock and phone didn’t work) they attempted to show us how to wiggle the lock and the presentation failed. I demanded a room change and was changed to a double bed and when asked about king rooms the maintenance guy was unsure. I’m showering to prepare for my evening and the maintenance guy says he gave us the wrong room it was suppose to be a King room. Over all it was a major inconvenience and unacceptable.

Room was clean except for the carpet, which had several stains. Just outdated and worn, and the pillows were flat and horrible. Staff was nice. My biggest problem was that this seems to be an area where street racing is an issue (I stayed on a Saturday night). I could barely hear the airport noise, but it sounded like a drag strip was across the street. (There isn’t). Loud cars racing until the wee hours. I hardly slept.

Carl was the only person at the front desk and couldn’t keep up with which costumer was next. Got off elevator on 5th floor and it smelled like a dumpster and the carpeting in the hallway look like it had never been shampooed. Only plus was that the room was clean.

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past few years. I enjoy it for its convenience to I-40 and PNC Arena. However, the hotel is showing its age. The tiles on the bathroom floor were cracked in places. The carpet in the hall was dirty and looked like it had not been vacuumed in several days. Our room was clean and comfortable. Overall, it was okay but it did not seem to be up to the standards that we usually see in a Hilton property.

The hotel is five minutes from the airport which is great when you need a ride there. I called to be picked up and it took close to 25 minutes for the shuttle to get there. It wouldn't have been that bad if it were not 31° outside. Also, maybe some breakfast items for the people that have to catch a super early flight would be much appreciated by all I'm sure. The bartender was absolutely amazing.

Our refrigerator was broke so we can use the refrigerator. We had a leak in sink the staff was noisy. I know when we was trying to sleep the house keep and turn the phone on and have music up loud on inspected secure deposit didn’t know none about that I got there very disappointed with that. I recommend nobody to stay there.

Pool did not work. Front desk employees act like you don’t even exist as you enter/exit the building. Dirty elevators and stairwells. Garbage in hallways and all around property. Will NEVER stay here again. Would encourage ALL to seek any other hotel, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

This hotel was fine for a one night stay to get an early flight out the next morning. It’s very close to the airport and had a very reliable shuttle service even at 4:30am. The driver was wonderful friendly informative and really seemed to care.
The bar staff was friendly and did a good job too. My complaint with this facility is how “tired” the place is. It needs a freshen up badly. The furniture outside the elevator was stained and cracked and very unappealing. In our room our chair had a fist size hole in it. The pillows were so flat it 3 to make one. It seemed clean enough just didn’t give me a good overall feeling and I would t stay there again if I have the choice. But as I said if it’s one night to get on an early flight you can make it work.

Past due for renovation. Rooms smelled, were dingy, bedding torn. Lighting in bathroom inadequate, dim and hard to see. Huge disappointment
