Holiday Inn Express is our go to place to stay (Ohio). This property needs to be updated. Rate should be $99 per night.

I loved the staff - extremely helpful in surprising my daughter with her best friend that came in from a different state - even putting us in rooms next to each other! I didn’t like how there were unsupervised soccer kids running up and down the hallways knocking on my door and running away constantly. The rooms need maintenance for water damage in the bathroom above the shower, and they are dated. The staff made it worth it though for being amazing.

On the way up to the room I was a little nervous because the property was a little run down, but I convinced myself it was just in need of a little updating/maintenance. However, we got to the room and upon entering we were horrified to find the bathroom in grotesque condition. Urine all over the toilet seat and a questionable sticky substance on the bathroom counter. Shower curtain also gross looking with grime. We automatically start to question if anything else had even been cleaned as the bed looked as if a hurried teenager had made it. We then quickly went back down to the desk to let them know and request another room or for it to be cleaned. They were sold out so could not move us and no one could authorize a reverse transaction so we were stuck. Front desk sent someone to clean but after we got back to the room it seemed as though only the toilet had been cleaned as counter and everything else was the same. We were helpless, and decided to reluctantly stay and touch as little as possible. Thought maybe the tv would help distract us but it was not in working order. Needless to say this was a terrible experience for us, we did not sleep well and made sure to throughly clean ourselves and belongings when we got home. In the morning, we once again stopped by the front desk to let them know how bad of an experience we had. They had me write my phone # down on a piece of paper so the manager could contact me. I haven’t heard from the manager yet and $200+ still charged. 😭

I did not stay at this hotel. It was filthy dirty. There were empty liquor bottles in the nightstands, empty wrappers on the floor. The bathroom was not clean. There was a stench of urine.

Late check in specified on booking and no staff available for at least 20 minutes we stood in lobby waiting

WiFi is incredibly slow. Lots of wear and tear on this property. Overdue for a serious remodel. NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

Loud semi truck noise from I94 was unbearable. Total lack of USB ports for charging phones. Unexceptionable in this day and age. Strange smell in hallways. You can’t cover it up by lowering the thermostat. Ceilings are stained all over the place appliances from water damage. Speaking of water, water noise cycling on and off all nite long. Overall was certainly not worth the money spent here. Because of this experience we will not utilize Holiday Inn ever again. This building is due for a major renovation or razing.

They should advertise that their pool wasn’t in use. I will never use Expedia again because I couldn’t cancel the reservations without being out my money

what I DID NOT like was that there was no one at the desk when I tried to check in at 9:00 pm on Friday 6/30. There was a note saying "be right back". I waited at least 30 minutes standing at the front desk until someone finally came. He said he had to 'take care of something' outside. When I checked out the next day, I asked the front desk staff to email me my receipt for the stay - I have yet to receive that in my email. I had wanted to print it, but they could not print it for me at the desk. ALSO - carpet in our room and elevator was filthy dirty. I am very disappointed in staff and room.

Nice employee. The building needs to be demolish and built a new one. To far gone to be remodeling. Not a Holiday Inn hotel???? ARE YOU KIDDING ME???

Property seemed to be on the decline. Both exterior and interior needed care and attention. Lights in the room were mismatched and dim.

The hotel was clean. Staff was extremely friendly. Coffee/tea is nice. Breakfast was fine for a free breakfast. Rooms were great. Spacious clean and comfortable

Positive - front desk staff was polite Negative - pool is in need of repair, also all 7 that entered the pool became itchy and had burning eyes Negative - hotel needs updating and common areas could be cleaner Negative - no soap in the room, no bedding for pullout, and not enough towels Negative - housekeeping slamming doors starting at 7:30 am and knocking on our door at 8 am. This was ridiculous!!!

I have stayed at enough Holiday Inn Express Hotels to know this one is not up to par. The toilet was stuck on continuous flushing when we walked in. And it required me to jiggle the handle every time it was flushed. There were still sticky spots from a drink ring on the bedside table and the hallway steps were not swept. I purposely paid extra so we could have a couch to sit on and relax but - that was the most uncomfortable couch I have ever sat on. Super low to the ground and the cushions were so skinny the front hurt my legs. I know it was a pullout but ... OMG it was way worse than sitting on the bed. Also, we turned the tv on and it wouldn't play until the front desk came up and set it to the correct "mode" - a small hassle but a hassle nonetheless. NOT what I needed at the end of a very long day. Even finding this hotel was hard. We will not be back!

Service was great but room was incredibly dated, bathroom light didn’t work, and hotel wasn’t in the greatest area.

It was decorated very nicely for Christmas, however there is an overwhelming mildew smell, assumimg it is from the pool inside. Outside of that very convenient stay to be closer to Wings Event Center.

We were there to visit family and the manager allowed breakfast to be served until 9:30 instead of 8:30. We are all elderly and on vacation and 8:30 is rather early for us. We really appreciated it!!

Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Bathroom and room was clean, hotel was nosiy but it was a busy weekend.

Amazing stay, Christine at the front desk was very pleasant and welcoming. The room was nice and clean and updated.

Excellent customer service. I had 3 chip crumbs on my bed. I didn’t share this with the front desk though, just thought it was an oversight.

Very nice staff! Pool area was great. Warm pool! Family suite was very comfortable. Even the pull out couch was comfortable! Overall Great service! Great Value!

TV didn't work, shower was clogged we have to stand in dirty water while showering. Bed was comfortable, comforter wax very thin, my son woke me up saying he was cold, had to turn heat on. Called front desk because no washcloths in the room. No additional comforters available, because they were "fully booked". Pool was pleasant and pool area was clean. Staff was very friendly and pleasant.

The hotel was clean the pool water was great "not cold" the breakfast was Outstanding ! could only use the main door to enter, and we had a problem with the pass key and know one working on the weekend could fix it so they had to let me in my room if i left the room.

Liked pool. Not very sound proof. Not sure anything can be done about that.

The room was clean, however when we did walk into the room it had looked like someone had maybe rented it for a family member because there was a card on the bed that said Happy Anniversary in it and it was not for us. Not a huge deal, we got a chuckle out of it but something that needs to be mentioned as someone else may have thought the room wasn't cleaned.

It was overall easy access and very clean. We didn’t stay at the hotel long enough to do much due to having a race to go too. But we enjoyed our two nights stay.

The front desk clerk was very nice and professional. The hotel was clean and comfortable.

Property was close to the event center. It was clean and up to date. Staff was very friendly.
