I love the convenience and the historic buildings. Clean, comfortable.

The hotel is located in a historic section of Mobile which means quaint but windows did not open and train could be heard at night. It was raining which made the downtown area not walkable from our hotel. Breakfast was included but very limited. They offered drink coupon but Bistro was closed so couldn’t use. Overall nice for the price.

Such a nice little area. The inn was wonderful! We were going on a cruise. The location was so convenient to the port and the option to have free parking at the inn was great! Definitely plan to come back.

Wonderful!! One of the most unique places we’ve stayed. Beautiful historic “village” of restored early 1800’s home make up the accommodations. Our room in the inn was fabulous and charming, with a very clean and comfortable jetted tub. Unexpectedly upscale toiletries, including bath salts, were a pleasant surprise. Staff was attentive as well. Delicious hot breakfast was included. Everything was perfect!

This charming inn provides a cozy space in a historic neighborhood reminiscent of the French Quarter in New Orleans. They provided two glasses of wine at the Parisian-influenced bistro restaurant on-site, as well as a discount on brunch. We strolled through the grounds, admiring the architecture and enjoying the patio atmosphere while awaiting our restaurant reservations, where I enjoyed the preferred cocktail of Ernest Hemingway, Death In The Afternoon (which I accidentally ordered by the name of Death by Hemingway.) The most charming part? Gas lamps and real keys! This is a hidden gem in Mobile near a handful of museums and quaint Dauphin street fun. Two enthusiastic thumbs up! The bedrooms are located in a variety of different homes, repurposed for hospitality now, and include multi-level quarters. The Monroe House had an in-house elevator. The crown molding and baseboards, along with the spacious quarters, gave it almost a regal feel. The comfortable king bed and memory foam pillows enhanced the evening beyond expectations. I hope you are as pleasantly surprised by this affordable treat as we were.

This bed and breakfast was so cute. I loved the character of the rooms, versus the starkness of a standard hotel room. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in the downtown area.

Check in is at £3.00 pm and not before. Even though my wife wanted to get ready for a very important and emotional family meeting added to the fact she had tripped on the path and cut her knee we could not get into the room before 3,00pm. When in the room it was stunning but I do wish they had cleaned all the grubby finger marks of the doors, I cleaned them with soap and water and they came off easily

The bed is very creaky it is the headboard but every time you move the noise is very annoying also the air conditioner is right over the bed so the pillows were damp but otherwise the room is beautiful old fashioned very nice indeed

Our stay was great! Staff was friendly and quick to repspond. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Only complaint was that the bed squeaked whenever you moved around. I'm sure the staff would have done something about it if i would've asked!

We stayed in a 2-queen room for a couple of nights and we're quite satisfied with the experience. The inn consists of a bunch of old, but well renovated homes. Our room was spacious, clean and fairly well equipped. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the tv had plenty of choices (Directv I think) and the room was very quiet.

Don't miss this one if you are in and around Mobile, AL! Just a beautiful place restored to it's original 1800s charm! Easy to access with a lovely little tavern/bistro on the sight. It's like stepping back in time with all our modern conveniences. Excellent!

Could use a night light in bathroom, grab bar to get out of shower, place to hang hand towel, washcloth. Extra blanket in a drawer or closet. Not to gripe, just observing..overall very nice staff and helpful. Could have used a map of city and not had to go looking for one.

I was there during a heat wave and my air conditioning unit didn’t seem to work very well. I had it set to 70 (which is normal at my house) but it didn’t seem to ever get that cold…. Even after decreasing the temp and having someone (a staff member) come check it and tell me it was working…… I’m glad I brought a portable fan.
The pool has not been built yet, even though it is listed on the map.
The *free breakfast* has a mandatory surcharge…..
Know if you book a stay here you will not be automatically staying in the main house. There are several other buildings to this property.
Overall it is a Very adorable property….. I’m sure when everything is finished it will be amazing.

This is a historical and charming place. Friendly staff, comfy bed, beautiful room, and quiet. Next time I will bring my wife, instead of kids, and stay two nights!

Very quiet, despite its proximity to the highway. The grounds have a very historic feel. Rooms in the old mansion itself are restored with a lot of character, whereas rooms in the building across the street are a little more modern and they have an elevator. Neat, clean, quiet, friendly staff, lots of free street parking.

Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was located in Mobile's historic district. Very beautiful neighborhood and only a couple minute walk to the downtown bars and restaurants. The room itself was great. Had everything we needed. Our stay came with a free breakfast, however even though we made a reservation the restaurant wasn't able to provide us a table (we didn't have time to wait for the next table).

For the money, one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. We were greeted past hours by a super friendly host who walked us to our room showing how to work the locks. The room was a little small but very comfortable and clean. It’s an older, historic hotel and the decor and style is charming. I’ve stayed all over the world including 5 star resorts. The Fort Conde and the staff are fantastic. We definitely will return.
