We really appreciated the extra mile that the hosts put into making our stay welcoming and comfortable. The extra tea, coffee, and snacks were great! Our favorite had to be the breakfast to go goodie bag that was made up for us. Our weekend in Juneau was perfect. We are already looking forward to staying here again.

What a perfect little place for anyone visiting Juneau. We stayed for 2 days after our 1st Alaska cruise. Everything was perfect! If you are heading to Juneau, this is the place to stay!

Both of the hosts, Bing & Elizabeth, were wonderful! They made us feel right at home. The room was comfortable & very clean. The breakfast was GREAT each morning! They offered ideas of things to do and also shared a discount pass for the tram. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this B & B and would stay there again for sure!

Most hospital location we have visited in years. We had the misfortune to arrive in Juneau to find that our luggage had been transferred to a cruise ship …the ship had sailed with our four suitcases.
The next day Elizabeth and Bing the proprietors of the Alaskan Capital Inn while looking after us also chased airlines/ transport companies to ensure that our four suitcases were located and returned to Juneau from Skagway where the cruise line had taken them! They then drove us to Juneau airport Cargo depot to collect the four pieces of luggage- when thanked their response ‘this is what we do’ …

Elizabeth and Bing love what they do and their magic and creativity are deeply felt. We had such a lovely time and adored both of them. You can’t find nicer people!! We loved our room, Bing’s cookies, and an awesome breakfast. It’s walkable to downtown but thankfully, far enough away find peace from the cruise crowds. It will be your highlight of your trip. Don’t stay anywhere else!

The house is a beautifully maintained Craftsman home, with great bathroom upgrades and the bed is unbelievably comfortable! The breakfasts were amazing! Fresh fruits and vegetables, imaginative dishes, very tasty. The service was excellent. The house is across the street from the Capital, so perfect for our trip to meet with legislators.

The property itself is an incredible find. The house has been impeccably restored to its original early-1900's style, but with all the modern amenities you could want. It's cozy and warm, plus the breakfast is AMAZING. Elizabeth and Bing (caretakers during our stay) were kind and friendly. Great spot!

This is a beautifully restored building in a convenient location. The hosts are lovely; very knowledgeable about the area and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and served on a beautifully set table. The late afternoon wine was a real treat. While there was a slight mix up with rooms, it all worked out and we were quite comfortable where we ended up.

What a lovely BnB! Great location, close to restaurants, shops, museums, the tram...but still quiet and relaxing. Linda created wonderful and elaborate breakfasts served family style! With 2 early tours and an early flight we were only able to enjoy one...delicious! Linda was kind enough to pack To Go bags for people who had to leave early. Snacks/sweets were always available. The bed and room were very comfortable!

Outstanding location. Quaint. Not used to B&B's so did not get real social... but did have a lovely breakfast with the household. The house was really cool but felt cluttered for ME. The room was BEAUTIFUL. Loved the tub. Linda was very accommodating and helpful.

This house is tucked in a dead-end street and is super quiet. Its quaint style reminded us of some of the B and Bs in Maine. Linda and Mark were immediately like family, and truly share their home with guests. Our room was like a cocoon, super cozy with places to lounge and read. There are books everywhere, and wine is out at 3 pm. One of the highlights was the breakfast. You'd best love to eat breakfast, because these two are pretty much gourmet chefs! Fresh baked goods daily, delicious egg dishes, fresh, different fruits every day, local meats and condiments made in Juneau....honestly wanted to stay there for 3 more weeks. Linda also goes out of her way to accomodate dietary needs...her gluten-free cookies were the best I had ever tasted. The family style table had plenty of space for feeling distance-comfortable, and areas were well ventilated. Will absolutely stay here again. Miss Juneau already!!!

Home away home -- really! My wife & I had such a pleasant one-week stay (in two different suites) in AGI. Linda & Mark are fantastic hosts.

We LOVED our stay at Alaska Capital Inn. Hosts Mark and Linda were so accommodating. Breakfast was a feast and there were always snacks, homemade goodies, coffee, tea--even wine available. Location could not be better---within walking distance to everything. Inn is at the top of a fairly steep hill so to get back and forth from town you will be getting a workout going up and down the hill.

Lovely stay with Linda and Mark, who are the most warm and welcoming hosts. We enjoyed our stay at the top floor suite (spacious). Linda provided great recommendations for local tours and restaurants. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home!

Our stay was amazing - not just the wonderful greeting, a glass of wine available in the evening, and a wonderful, comfortable room and two person claw foot tub, but the breakfast and conversation the next day made this special weekend (a birthday celebration) even more special! The food at breakfast was made to order and crazy good! The building is next to the state capitol and a grand house. The rooms have their own en suite bathrooms. Very private, roomy and just a great property. You won't have a much better experience in Juneau.

I loved staying here. The atmosphere was a home away from home. The rooms are beautifully unique snd exquisite. I’d happily stay here again. Breakfast was always the best every morning! Linda goes out of her way to make everything just right. Even calling an airline company to handle last minutes changes. Wonderful place to stay!!

A wonderfully restored home managed by two dedicated residents. I've now visited Juneau twice, both times staying in the exact same room at Alaska's Capital Inn. Each room in the inn is unique with varying amenities. Linda serves breakfast each morning, always a new recipe to keep things interesting and tasty. Plenty of snacks are set out in the inn and are more than enough to satisfy a midnight snack if you're having trouble adjusting to a time difference. Great conveniences in the common area on the second floor include first aid supplies, a mini fridge to chill your beverages, and plenty of extra blankets and pillows in each room. The inn is conveniently located between downtown and plenty of options to to explore nature. Most sites to see in the downtown area take a short/leisurely walk during which you'll likely see a store/boutique/coffee shop that catches your eye. I highly recommend Alaska's Capital Inn for an easygoing, relaxing stay in one of the most beautiful towns in American. Some helpful hints: The transit system in Juneau is robust enough to be able to ride from the airport to the inn for just a couple bucks. (it's best to check Juneau Capital Transit's website for updates regarding bus routes; COVID may or may not have an effect on serice). If you prefer to take a car from the airport to the inn, don't bother with Uber if you arrive in the evening. I personally gave Juneau Taxi a call to get a ride and it was at least $12 cheaper.

Alaska's Capital Inn is wonderful. I travel for business frequently and typically stay in chain hotels. I thought for fun I'd try the B&B experience for this trip. I totally loved it. It was comfortable and clean with easy access to the city. The proprietors were FANTASTIC. I couldn't be more pleased.

This place is fabulous! Very clean and well kept, the innkeepers Linda & Mark are awesome. We were headed out early the first morning for an excursion and Linda had a breakfast packed for us to take on the go! Great location within walking distance of downtown, the tram, waterfront and some nice hiking trails.
