Hotel staff was always pleasant. Our king size bed was super comfortable. Room was clean and had all we needed…except body soap dispenser in shower was empty. The shower was amazing! The hotel decor needs a serious update. Normally I wouldn’t comment on decor because I know everyone’s taste is different, but this decor truly hurt my eyeballs.
My main complaint is the breakfast. Not good at all. The food seemed old and was nearly cold. Eggs were not kept replenished…so I can’t comment on those. Grits pot was empty on day one…and the oatmeal on day two was not cooked all the way. They even ran out of forks on our first morning, and when I asked for some, I was told they had NONE. Hubby ate his waffles with a spoon. I mean, it’s a “free” breakfast, but they really could do better.

We stayed for one night, to split up a long drive, and was very pleased. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly, rooms were clean.

I refuse to stay at hotels where druggies stay so I tend to spend a little more and almost always happier and less annoyed. Hampton Inn was wonderful. From the check in via the lady that had braces (we had a funny conversation about them) to the lady monitoring the food this morning. Staff was great!! The room was very nice and I loved the pillows but the bed was a little slouchy. It was nice having the couch as well as the office chair and an additional fancy chair. Room and bathroom was very spacious, only complaint is that we had a view of the concrete slab on the second floor. No big deal but wow. The hotel seemed like it was full and I did make the reservation last minute. Breakfast was just what was needed to get our day going. We had our dog with us and there was a decoration on the table near the elevator that looked similar to a ball, in a dog’s eyes. I had to pull her back from it. Lol. All in all great stay and would definitely book again.

All good until I find a charge on my credit card for unknown reasons. Turns out they mistakenly charged my card. Sounds like anyone can walk up and charge items just by saying a room number. What?? They credited a portion and then I had to call back 3 times to finally speak to someone who could help me get the rest of the credit which takes 5 days to show up on the credit card. Just the hassle left me sour.

Very clean. I was only Leary about the linen. I hope it is being changed after each guest, because it is dangerous during this pandemic not to. I was told at another location before the pandemic that it was not changed after each guest, so I started bringing my own, and told my friends to do the same.

The facility was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was substandard and in the evening the coffee was cold.
Our problem was the shower heads. One was not fully functioning and the handheld was broken.

Overall, quite good. The tv (minor complaint) has no on-screen guide or info, plus takes 4-5seconds to load newly entered channel.

The water pressure was almost non existent. It was almost impossible to wash my hair with the trickle of water that was coming from the shower. The bathtub had some grungy looking spots in it that were missed by cleaning service (I got a washcloth and cleaned them myself to make sure it wasn’t staining). There was dust and hair in the corners by the closet.
Front desk staff and kitchen staff at breakfast were friendly and accommodating, but I probably wouldn’t stay here again if I were ever back in Albany.

Awesome hotel. Easy access, very clean, awesome breakfast, awesome room, adjacent room neighbors loud and obnoxious (no fault of the hotels) otherwise almost perfect. Could have used a lower rate though.

Location is great! The staff person when we checked in wasn't welcoming but when we left the staff person at the front desk apologize and wss very friendly.

Our room had several large stains on the carpet and our refrigerator did not work.

I absolutely love this hotel. Always clean and breakfast is good. Friendly staff. I left my daughters tablet by accident and they called to let me know. I’ve have many experiences where things in other hotels go missing but very impressed they called to tell me I left something behind and mailed it to me! High recommend this hotel!

The bed & pillows were so-so. My sleeping experience 7 out of 10 but other than that, the stay was amazing. The breakfast crew was nice and very attentive and the front desk service was awesome. The room was smaller than expected but I wil return.

The hotel was very well located and the facilities were excellent. Breakfast was very good and the staff was very helpful. The only negative was the fact that the dining area just happened to be VERY noisy because of the number of guests who chose to eat at the same time.
