Super conveniant. Metro stop across the street, around the block from tons of bars and restaurants. Walkable airport bus stop down the hill. I've stayed at many hotels and many different parts of Montreal, this is easily the best mix of convenience while not feeling like the empty business district of downtown or the overpriced touristy parts of Old Montreal

We had a very short stay (overnight) with a family of 3. The building is nicely situated near the theatre district and the subway. Our room was clean, enough space for the three of us. Comfortable beds as well as very warm, given this was in January. The breakfast was included and was very basic with tea, coffee, some fruits, bread and pastries.

The staff was incredible and went above and beyond to create a wonderful stay, so I could focus on the reason for my trip: Madonna - Celebration Tour The complimentary breakfast and coffee was great and the rooms are very comfy cozy. And to top all that the jacuzzi tub was a game changer. Merci beaucoup!

This is a beautiful property, the staff is super kind, the bed is comfortable, the tub has a fantastic size. The complimentary breakfast was a wonderful addition to start the day easier. We really enjoyed our stay.

If you come to Montreal, staying at Chateau de l’ Argoat is a must. This vintage estate is beautifully maintained and close to several cool spots. Staff is superb and can’t wait to stay here again 10/10

We had a lovely stay! The hotel is very close to the metro station and numerous dining options of different price points. The staff were kind and helpful, and our room was clean and charming. Would definitely stay here again upon return to Montreal!

Lovely smaller old hotel. We really liked our room, clean, high ceilings, wooden floors, all very quaint. The double bed felt a bit small after being in other bigger beds across usa on our holiday but was comfortable. The shower was a bit small and could do with a new shower head. Husband loved there was a jet bath. The staff were very helpful and we would return if back in Montreal. Very near metro bought a 24 hour pass for around 11 can$. Breakfast of bagels, fruit, yoghurt toast was all good. Coffee available during day in same breakfast room.

Older property, but clean, quiet and charming. Directly across the street from Sherbrooke metro station, accessible to any part of the city. Extremely walkable to downtown, old Montreal, as well as the Latin quarter, plateau and the village. We did all of it on foot from here. No fridge in the room was the only complaint, but there is a communal fridge on the main floor. Beds are comfortable, and a large convenience store is a block away. I would advise caution to those with mobility issues: as this is an older building, rooms on second and third floors are accessible by stairs only. If this is not an issue, it is a lovely property.

I loved our stay: the staff was wonderful and the room was charming and clean. The breakfast was helpful too to get something healthy (I just had an orange and my partner had some yogurt) before setting out to find a full breakfast. Very walkable. Super cute. Nice to be able to park the car and not think about parking too!

Mansion turned hotel well maintained and in a prime location. The customer service was tremendous & everything inside the room was splendid. One small note: breakfast offered some good coffee, variety of tea, fruit, cereal but only one type of bread. Maybe add some bagels, whole grain toast?? I would definitely stay here again

This is an amazing place. The rooms are lovely, staff helpful and just so cozy. The location is perfect. It's a cross the street from the metro, so we did not have to use our car at all.

Our room was clean, spacious-large bathroom. The staff was very friendly! They have free parking. We walked everywhere, metro stop is right out front. Breakfast was good enough-fresh fruit and bread were served. We had a wonderful stay here.

We stayed in a charming, spacious room on the ground floor that was very quiet despite facing Sherbrooke St. Building is very well maintained, staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Parking was super convenient, and location was perfect, easy to access by foot, metro, car, and Bixi bike. A great value compared to other hotels in Montreal. Would definitely stay here again.

The people who run this hotel were so nice. Allen and Sebastian (among other front desk staff) were very patient and helpful when I practiced my beginning-level French. They had bread with toasters, jam, peanut butter, juice, tea, and coffee (which was perfect for a vegan breakfast for us). The room/bed was very comfortable. I had an inside room and it was quiet. The bathroom was updated and spacious. It was very convenient for walking, the 747 bus to/from the airport, and the metro. I definitely will stay here again and recommend for my traveling friends!

Cool location, very clean hotel with staff that are super friendly and helpful. The only issue is the lack of an elevator, though that’s not unusual in old style hotels like this.if you have no problem with that, the place is perfect. It’s just 2 blocks from Sherbrooke metro station, which makes it easy to run out and check other neighborhoods

Lots of character and the hotel staff , Richard and friends, were amazingly helpful and caring. The room is a comfy size and has a nice bed. The bathroom has a terrific 2 person bath which was really nice. You do have to walk up 2 flights to the room we had, but they were nice enough to keep our luggage downstairs.
