It's not a hotel, it's more of a motel. I don't even know how it's a Marriott. If it wasn't just a stop before I check-in at Rosewood, I wouldn't stay there.

Friendly staff. Concierge is very good. Very convenient to beach and easy walk to downtown and many attractions and restaurants. Decent fitness center. However, the property is rather worn out. Hallways are very worn out and dark. Rooms are clean enough and provide daily cleaning.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Courtyard Marriott Nassau Downtown/Junkanoo Beach, and I cannot express how wonderful my experience was. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. Their friendliness and attentiveness truly made my stay memorable. The culinary offerings at the hotel exceeded my expectations. The food was not only delicious but also of excellent quality. The variety of options catered to different tastes, and each meal was a delightful experience. Additionally, the alcoholic drinks were expertly crafted, and the bar staff showcased their skill in mixology. One of the highlights of the hotel is its proximity to Junkanoo Beach. The easy access allowed me to enjoy the beautiful beach whenever I wanted, making my vacation feel like a true island getaway. The convenience of being close to downtown Nassau was also a significant plus, allowing me to explore the vibrant city with ease. The hotel's pool is nothing short of amazing. Whether I wanted to take a refreshing dip or simply soak up the sun, the pool area provided the perfect relaxation spot. The well-maintained surroundings and attentive poolside service added to the overall enjoyment. As for the rooms, they were not only comfortable but also impeccably clean. The room I was given was not the one pictured online. The pictures online are misleading. The worst Marriott in which I have been. I am disputing the charge with my credit card The location is pretty central and the beaches are beautiful. Lots of amenities at walking distance 0 to 10 I would give 5

This has to be the worst Marriott property I’ve ever visited. The elevator looks like something from a housing project. I kept getting this horrible smell wafting into my room. There are parts of this property that are literally crumbling. This place needs to be closed. I couldn’t believe that Marriott would have their name associated with this place.

Not sure when was the last time a Marriott corporate person visited this location to figure out out the standards? If you are looking for a place to crash a night or so do it, otherwise skip it! Seriously specially if you are with a family! Breakfast takes an hour minimum, other than coffee nothing is complementary, they won't even give you a sip of oatmilk, front desk is new and needs ton of training! Consider a 7PM check in, kinda! Booked an ocean view room, they gave me a room with probably 1/8th of ocean view. Pool is super cold water so don't expect your kids to swim in it! What else? Just don't stay! Go pay that extra and stay at a resort.

Do not pay a higher price for Ocean View you might get a pool view and no refund as I did. I booked an Ocean View room based on the photographs on Expedia and got a Pool Side room, on asking the staff to change they were rude and told me to get the refund from Expedia and nothing they can do as they consider the Pool Side room with a little view of Ocean to be Ocean View and that photographs on Expedia are only for their corner rooms. On contacting Expedia I did not get a refund or an explanation just that they cannot contact the property and nothing further can be done. As per the amenities there is no beach bar as the hotel sits across the road from the beach and it does not have the 7 bars mentioned on Expedia. The property has somewhat clean rooms so that is a positive, just do not expect staff to be good or any of the services offered to be good as well. If you have to book this hotel book the lowest category room as the selection is random and staff and expedia not helpful at all.

The people were very friendly. The hotel is very close to mostly everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The downfall is there was a problem with the ice machines and they don’t have a spa.

Happy holiday, great stay, great staff. Only criticism is Marriott usually has a higher standard but this property isn’t quite worth the value for what you pay, but in the Bahamas there’s nothing that’s cheap!
