Its my 3rd time stay at Ibis Luzern. And always happy to come back this hotel. The location only 5 minutes using a bus from central luzern station (walking around 15 minutes). The room is good and the price so reasonable. They provide a microwave, hot water (coffee and tea) in lobby area. They give a Luzern pass too, so you can enjoy around luzern with free pass.

There is no clear separation between the toilet and the shower aside from a curtain. The bathroom floor is often wet. There is minimal space for luggages.

It’s what you’d expect from a budget hotel. Rooms are basic, but perfectly fine for a place to sleep. Good shower and body wash/shampoo provided.
Gutted we didn’t have a kettle and some bits to make a coffee, but again it’s a budget hotel I guess!

Mold in the shower. Room smelled like cigarettes and sewage. Did have convenient location near bus station and bus/activity vouchers.

We stayed in a family room. The shower door (see through) is directly across from the beds, so you can see EVERYTHING while some one is showery. No privacy at all.
Very basic bedroom for $215 USD and we booked 7 months in advance. I don’t want to know what other people paid.

I strongly believe it’s not worth the price of what you get. In a room of 4 they put the sink outside of the bathroom, have a see throw shower and a completely separated toilet with no door lock. The extractor fan also doesn’t work so the shower is all moldy. The only thing I think was worth while was the breakfast.
Suggestion: I think that the concept of a see through shower works if you have a room with one couple. Anything more than that just makes things uncomfortable and complicated since we had to use a towel to cover the glass door.

We were warmly welcomed and surprised as we received some free transport tickets, wifi around the city and special discounts at museums as guests of this hotel. The beds could be in better conditions as they didn’t feel so comfortable.

On a negative note.the bathroom door did not have a lock on it, and the shower was in the room with a glass, do privacy for showering.
We paid for 4 people yet only 3 people were able to sign in.
On a positive note, room was clean, walking distance to the train station or bus stop.The breakfast was very good.

Clean and convenient. Beds are comfortable. My only concern is the shower door is quite see through and located directly in the room. We had to cover the door with towels to maintain privacy. The shower area is small as well. Quite awkward even with family. But shower water is nice and hot and super strong, which is definitely a plus for me

The breakfast was fabulous. Across the road from the bus stop & a 5 minute ride to the main rail station. Rooms were small but very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I think for this budget we cannot in Switzerland expect much more. This room is not for much than for overnight sleep. Cannot imagine to stay there for more nights as rooms are really tiny with no space for your personal belongings.

The hotel is adequate if you’re travelling by yourself and/or on a budget but if I was travelling with a partner I’d pick somewhere nicer.
The room was quite small and dark. There was also no hair dryer. For some reason my toilet had a small but noticeable public toilet smell (before I used it and after it should’ve been cleaned). Staff were friendly.
Overall it was okay and if I’m not rich by the next time I visit Lucerne again I’ll probably stay here.

Very small room, but well maintenance, clean and tidy. Not really walking distance from Lucerne main train station, but there’s bus no. 4 not far from the hotel with frequency every 10mins.

Front desk staff was extra attentive and helpful. They gave us a free bis pass and map showing us where to go and what bus lines. Really the only con I had was the limited towels and shower right next to your bed. If I had asked, I think they would have provided more towels, as they did get us extra pillows. Overall, I'd recommend it for necessity stay, bit maybe not romantic get away.

Cheapest hotel I could find close to the train station. Its a 15 min walk and its away from all the action. Room was small and the ac did not cool enough so we had to open the window at night. Rode the bus into old town. Ok for 1 night stay.

The location of the property is quite central and very good.
The room is very small as expected.
The wash basin is in the room not in the washroom thats a 1 drawback. But that was manageable.
Main problem was the attitude of receptionists. They were unfriendly and unprofessional. Very rude I would say.
