What a great location. We were central to so much. Both Ortygia and Siracusa. The B&B is in a condominium building in a very walkable neighborhood. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon so street parking wasn’t easy to find but we got a spot across the street and were able to leave it there for the duration of our stay. Giovanni was welcoming, easy to communicate with and gave great suggestions to make our stay in Siracusa better.

B&B is in a great location. Walking distance to Island of Ortigia with lots of restaurants and shops to choose from. Host/owner Giovanni is very kind and accommodating. Note: there is no parking on premises. You need to find free parking on streets surrounding the building, if not there is paid parking available at a parking garage next door to building. Only complaint we had were the towels, which were worn and smelled moldy. Overall great location with updated/modern rooms.

Great info in advance by our host Giovanni about trips, map of the area, places to eat and visit. Good location. Easy to walk everywhere. Room’s soundproofing excellent.

Giovanni was a great host, be gave us lots of local inforrmation. The premises were spotless and newly renovated.. The breakfast was excellent and well presented. Parking in the area is ok, we managed to find free street parking every day.. We enjoyed our stay at Photoguest and look forward to another visit soon

Loved the place and the location, it is centralized and walkable, we had our own car and did street parking for free and you can leave the car for days if you want, I thought it was going to be hard but finding a parking, but we managed to find more than a spot on side streets every one of our 4 nights . Place is immaculate and comfortable, breakfast could be better though, it is not much and no change everyday. The owner is a wonderful pleasant and helpful and thoughtful person and very accommodating. We would certainly go back to the same place if we were to go back to Seracisw..

This is a perfect location: close to the rail station and midway between the northern archialogical park and the southern end of Syracuse where the bridges take you over to the old island city. Nicely renovated rooms and a friendly host serving a delicious breakfast. Good advice on restaurants and boat excusrions.

I can highly recommend this property. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient. The host, Giovanni, went out of his way to be helpful, even to the point of assisting with an accidental double credit charge that occurred a day or so earlier in our trip. He became the go-between in a situation that was diificult for us due to language barrier.

Our host was friendly and had some good tips but had an outdated map that was too small to read and forgot to tell us about holiday closures. Also, the bed was somewhat uncomfortable, and the AC not the best. Our balcony was nice to have but not the view the pictures indicated. We would've appreciated simple tips on how to get to Ortigia also.

Giovanni is an excellent host. He is extremely approachable and helps where he can. The rooms are recently renovated and we had a comfortable stay. The location convenient between ortigia (old town) and the archeological park both a 15 min walk away. The thing the we didn't like is that although it calls itself a b&b there is no breakfast provided. We understand there are Covid restrictions but it would b nice to keep the common coffee machine operating. In terms of breakfast, an alternative could have been a voucher for the cafe bar in the same building.

We stayed at this very nice B&B for 1 week. Good location, walking distance to Ortigia and just a few minutes walking distance from the train station. Professional and welcoming on arrival . Giovanni and Eleonora have good knowledge of the area and Sicily. Tips / information on what to visit and different types of restaurants that have good local dishes Rooms: Clean and tidy, comfortable beds. The room was spacious with good shower and toilet Breakfast: High quality products and their home-made jams should not be forgotten, they were really good. An experience watching a slideshow of the area during breakfast on a large LED TV . Giovanni was always helpful and wanted that everything was good, accessible by questions via mobile phone during the days.

Giovanni and Leonora provide a real family welcome and a chance to meet fellow guests at the breakfast table. Giovanni's talents as a photographer adorn the walls and the property is nicely placed between the old town and the antiquities whilst being handy for both bus and rail terminus. A terrific break.

Modern and functional, clean, and very personal service provided by Giovanni and his wife. Very nice breakfast, high performance WiFi, and a beautiful collection of photographs all over the B&B. Very attentive owners who are genuinely concerned about your comfortable stay. Both owners are qualified tour guides and can provide helpful tips to make your visit more enjoyable.

Our stay at Photoguest exceeded all of our expectations. The room was very clean, breakfast was delicious, and the hosts are wonderful people. They even tried to help track down some distant relatives of ours when we told them that we had family that originated in a neighboring town. The location is great for walking all over the city for sightseeing and dining. I would highly recommend staying here to experience Syracuse!

Excellent location with easy walking to Ortygia, the archeological park and restaurants. The room was very good and the owners provide a friendly breakfast and are very helpful. Public parking is available but not obvious so make prior arrangements with the hotel.

My partner and I were looking for an accommodation that would be reasonably priced, close to the historical sites in Siracusa and Ortigia and would provide a solution for parking a car. We were lucky enough that PhotoGuest House had an opening. The host and his wife were more than welcoming, helping us with every odd request that we had, providing an amazing breakfast and also great recommendations for what to do in the city. I would greatly recommend anyone who looks for a place to stay in Siracusa to go there

Great location for ruins and the Island. Found a lovely steak house which Giovanni recommend. went there most days and only 5 minutes from apartment. Giovanni and Eleanora were both very helpful and breakfast was nice for Italy.

PhotoGuest is a wonderful B&B with lovely charm and modern decor. The room itself (including the bathroom) was very clean and comfortable, as was the dining area. The location of PhotoGuest was ideal. Everything is close by - the historical tourist attractions, restaurants, cafes and the sea front are no more than 10 minutes walk. Giovanni and Eleanora are excellent hosts and very much make you feel at home - nothing is too much trouble. Giovanni’s extensive knowledge of Syracuse meant he could answer all of our questions. He made some great recommendations for places to eat, attractions to visit and excursions to go on. Giovanni also went out of his way to make dinner reservations and book my husband and I on excursions. Breakfast was delicious everyday. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend PhotoGuest if you are visiting Syracuse. 10 out of 10!

This is a fantastic B&B. The standard of the rooms is very high. Very modern & comfortable. Great bed, shower etc. You couldn't ask for better hosts either; nothing was too much trouble. Me & my 2 daughters spent 10 nights here, and would recommend. Nice fresh breakfast. Easy walk in to the old town of Ortega
