Was very disappointed in the room. No dressers, closet, safe or even pictures on the walls. Beds were comfy but pillows were just adequate. The dust ruffle on that bed which should be between the mattress and box spring was under the bedspread. We arrived on a rainy day and there was no overhang to keep you and your luggage dry. Only one way in and out of the property making it difficult to leave if another car was checking in. Assumed a Hilton Hotel would have done far better. Will not be staying at a Tru hotel in the future.

I wanted to love it here. The staff was so friendly. The breakfast was good. But the parking… THE BEDDING!! Nope. the parking was NOT it for a rainy weekend with kids. You cannot park around the property. You have to park far on the right of it and I’ve never had to park so far from a hotel in my life. Having my kids and then it storming was a nightmare. The sheets… the bedsheets were absolutely terrible! They’re so thin and small (I had queen size) and it wasn’t a big fluffy one we usually get at hotels. And I’ve stayed at a ton. The AC was on the whole entire time and noisy and COLD. No matter what I did. I’ve never had such a terrible sleeping problem in a hotel before. Unfortunately I will not be back. But the staff was the best!

This Tru hotel has a lovely uplifting motif - lots of colors, images and messages to brighten your spirits. We especially appreciated the mural of Rockwall. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast was delicious - more substantial than the typical hotel. We really enjoyed our visit.

Wow it’s been a while since I’ve stayed in a hotel that I really enjoyed. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly, loved the water bottle fill station, and breakfast was good! The area of town is super nice and close to lots of things!

We really enjoyed using the cornhole & other games in the lobby. It was quite chilly & rainy while we visited and the lobby became a great family hangout! Also, your front desk staff & breakfast staff were fabulous!

Bed was comfy but pillows were terrible. Nice, clean room. Pet fee was a little steep - well over half of what I paid for us to stay. Pretty good breakfast!

Stayed here 3 nights because of a flood in my house from broken pipe. Had to get away from running fans and heaters to dry it out. Was a great place to rest from the noise.

Clean, decent place. Fab staff & service. (5Star, there) Wall unit AC/Heat, however: Awful! Staff moved me to a different room after the first (sleepless) night. 2nd room had quieter unit - but the fact that ALL rooms have noisy, grindy, wall units that will NOT shut off even if you turn them off is a *real* problem.

Best experience we've ever had it was perfect. We Will definitely be back since we drive from 46 miles North of Amarillo Tx. 7 hour drive to Rockwall Tx to see my husband's Surgeon that has replaced now both of his knees everyone was very welcoming and nice always smiling. Room w a s perfect super clean. Thank y'all bunches see ya next month. God Bless y'all 🙌 💖 ❤️ 🙏 ✨️ ♥️

Rooms were small. I asked for king size bed but I think the bed in the room given to me was queen size. Besides, the water was not draining well in the sink in the bathroom and the pressure of the water from the shower was low. Had a terrible experience.

Immediate greet with a smile, the entire lobby setup is very welcoming. Nice chairs, seating area, pool table and the water fountain has the function to refill water bottles. Room was very spacey as well as the bathroom. Comfortable beds, quiet hotel, and breakfast and coffee/juice as well. Just off of 30, very conveniently located. Highly recommended.

Our room was fine and the only concern was the key card section on the door was missing a part of it. Everything else was fine and the beds were nice. My parents also stayed at the hotel a few rooms down and their room had electrical issues, no soap in the bathroom, and the shower handle would not turn and the water was ice cold the whole time.

Fairly new hotel but not well maintained. The hallways were dirty. Room had some obvious issues. Windows in the room do not open and a loud fan was always running even with air condition / heater off.

I think the location, staff and amenities were great. I do think they were short staffed as the hallways and lobby bathrooms hadn’t been vacuumed or swept in a while. Our room was never serviced during our 3 night stay which would’ve been acceptable if I had been notified upfront. When you expect to comeback to a clean and made up room only to find it’s not, it’s kind of off putting. Also, we had no hot water the third day!? Not sure why as it was a Monday morning at 5:30am.

I was so pleasantly surprised by how much I really liked this property. Somehow I was expecting it to be a C property instead of the A property which it definitely is. Do not hesitate to book it because of it being the Hilton budget hotel. We've stayed at quiet a few of the properties in Rockwall. This is way better than any of the other hotel chains in the area. Plus, Chanel at the front desk with her big smile and happy disposition makes you feel right at home.
