I had a great 2 night stay at this property while visiting my Liberty University student. Hotel was super clean, updated, and extremely convenient location. Breakfast was great and the coffee was actually good! Will definitely stay here again in the future

Since I used Hotels.com, the hotel stated they cannot give any refund. The water pressure was so poor that we couldn’t shower or wash our hair during the 3 days. Cleaning staff were super friendly but they never came into our room during the time. We even asked if they would. We ran out of towels TP etc. the sink backed up every time we used it. We faced the highway and could hear all of the traffic in that room
No where to put your clothes or luggage that’s out of the way. Everything sits in the open but that’s the design of the space.
Positives are that they had a really nice breakfast in the am for a continental style and super friendly and kind staff. Facility was otherwise clean.

We had never stayed at TRU by Hilton and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel and room were great. We loved ALL of the convenient places to recharge devices in the room. The wall space to hang coats, purses, etc., was much appreciated. We loved the vibe of the hotel. Staff was helpful and very kind. Great place to stay.

The clerk at the desk was very welcoming when we arrived. The next morning, all staff at the dining area and front desk were also very attentive to us. They immediately recognized when I was looking for something and helped to find it. Check out was very easy. Super clean and the food area was constantly monitored and well stocked! Great job by everyone!

Arrived late, everyone was kind but the noise level was outrageous. I rarely complain about this. All night long I could hear doors slamming. I could hear street noise and people in the parking lot...this is a small town not NYC. The walls are paper thin.

Didnt like noise from upper floor walking around. It was constant. No microwave. Very small refrigerator on the floor. Lady serving breakfast had a terrible cough with no face mask! Sorry but its the truth. Thats disgusting.. not worth $700 for 3 nights.

Hotel was clean, breakfast included a nice variety. They also included and infused water and small treats during the day. the service at check in was polite and quick. I would stay here again.

This is the highest rating i have ever given a hotel. I stay in about 100 hotels a year and this is one of my favorite hotels.
Fom the outside of the hotel being clean and nice, to the lady at the front desk being great to deal with. The room was very clean and bed was comfortable.
I will stay at this hotel in the future even if it is out of the way.

Would have been 5 stars except for the front desk staff. During both interactions with them they were disinterested and almost imposed upon to help. Their friends or family members were at the desk as well so perhaps it was more distracted than uncaring. Our breakfast attendant was friendly, however. Nice property though.

Tru is a clean and modern hotel and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. I love the laminate flooring in the room. The hotel smelled clean and fresh. Free breakfast, coffee and tea. The staff was friendly. Hotel is conveniently located near shopping. There is free parking on site however, the only suggestion is to add more spaces for parking (there should be at least 1 space per room).

Nice quiet area yet still close to anything you’d need. Clean and staff is friendly. Breakfast could be a little better, more protein options. Other than that, we were happy!

This was the perfect hotel in the middle of a long 18 hour drive from Atlanta to NYC. Great bed. Great shower. Very friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Employees were very nice. Tucked away but close to shopping and dining. I wasn't too crazy about the beds, and the room was on the small side, but the shower and cleanliness of the room was great. Breakfast is included; nothing fancy but it was good. Overall, we were happy with our stay.

A small but ample room. All amenities were clean and in new condition. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was above average.
My only issues were the bedding was somewhat sparce and the room HVAC was permanently ON with the fan unable to be turned off. Highway noise may also be an issue for some depending on which side of the building your room is on.
Overall we had a positive experience and would recommend the property dispite our "small issues".

Room is smaller than Hampton inn’s. Refrigerator had someone’s leftover food in it… gross.

My only complaints are the lack of parking, as the lot filled up very quickly at night, and the lack of water pressure in the shower.

This was my first time staying at a Tru location. I was very impressed with the entirety of our stay. We will definitely be staying at more Tru properties and will be back to the Lynchburg property in the future.
