Great stay

Great stay for an amazing price without all the crazy resort fees! It's a quick 10-minute drive to the strip. The hotel has great restaurant options and nice coffee from the Cafe in the morning. The nice staff upgraded my room for free!

Everything looked perfect on paper, after reviewing a lot of hotels I decided the Ahern had everything we needed. Proximity to Festival site we were attending, nice rooms, good price and a really cool pool area. My partner has been wanting a few days by a pool so i thought i had the perfect plan. We arrived and could see the pool from our window. We got our drinks, put on our bathing suits, and ran to the pool, except we ran into two locked doors and then were informed by maintenance that the pool was out of service. The entire reason I booked this hotel was for pool access in a non-casino/resort hotel.

Great hotel - rooms were large and comfortable. Modern decor with everything you need. Great parking, restaurants - all within the complex. Very reasonably priced and although it is not the strip, if is not far away from everuthing. Staff were also very helpful would definitely go back.

It was amazing overall. Only complaint is that housekeeping staff were very noisy every morning through the day. They talked very loud among themselves, specifically the short, Hispanic lady that wears a cover on her head. They also talked loudly on their cellphone while servicing a room near our room and could be overheard even with our TV on.
Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay. Everyone else were accommodating and friendly. We will stay there again & had recommended family & friends to do as well.

Amazing hotel!

Comfortable, neat and clean at a good price. A bit of a walk to the main attractions in the strip, but still practical.

The pool was shut down which was the main thing we were looking forward to. Also, they promised free meals but when you show up they tell you it’s only for Las Vegas residents.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! Great staff, great food and activities. I like that there wasn't a casino in the hotel so it made it more comfortable. Not far from the strip if you wish to go there. It was just an amazing stay all around. We felt safe and enjoyed our time. Would definitely stay again!

Staff were lovely super helpful. Nonetheless I was unaware the pool was under construction and the rooms were fairly basic for the price.

Great service and nice place. Workout room was not good and surrounding area not good.

It was great. I need to handle some business last minute and i didnt want to spend above my budget to get this issue resolved. But also i didnt want to stay somewhere that quality and cleaniness is a concern. Ahern to the rescue. Affordable but yet 4-5 star attributes. Modern look great staff. Warm and friendly. Great food. Quick access to parking. Room was clean spacious, hot water was instant, good water pressure, hvac worked flawlessly. TV was a tad under sized. But the overall vibe gives off exclusiveness. Great choice as a get away, or stay-cation. Compared to other hotel casinos in similar price range. Ahearn has them beat. Nice and quiet...

Beautiful hotel, great options for food, coffee, drinks, etc. Room and bathroom very clean, bed was just a bit too firm for me. Also had complimentary breakfast, good food. I would give 5 stars but the ONLY bad thing I have to say is the pink windows, it really messed with my eyes, i had to keep the curtains closed the entire time, missed out on enjoying sunrises. All in all a great place to stay without all the craziness of the casinos.

Enjoyed our stay and look forward to a possible stay again. Very disappointed the pool wasn't up and running when the temps were in the upper 80's while we were there. The web page says the pool is seasonal so that should be explained so we know when we leave if to bring suits. To us, 80's are pool season. Would like a coffee maker in our room.

My stay here was excellent! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze and fast! Effie, is so sweet and awesome! Gave us a voucher for complimentary champagne! Our Room was spacious and clean! Conveniently located right off of the strip without having to deal with the strip noise or people.
Definitely would stay here again!

Surprisingly newly refurbished. Nicely done. Clean and quiet. The part of Vegas it is in is a bit seedy.

Hotel was connected to a couple food options and super convenient. Bed was on the firmer side but still comfortable, room was very spacious! Great customer service at the desks on multiple interactions, free parking garage is a huge bonus. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our short stay at this hotel. It does not have a casino so it was quiet. Casinos are walking distance if desired, though the neighborhood was kind of dicey. We were also there when no conventions were going on, so there were no lines at the adjacent restaurants and cafes. Could have done without the pink on the windows-took some getting used to. Parking was free and convenient. Overall we had a good stay.

It was a nice clean hotel. Very quiet. Not much for services. Had to request maid every day. The food is spread out and only snacks in the lobby for a fee.
The pool is closed. I wouldn’t have stayed I if knew that.

Very clean! Nonsmoking and no casino so very quiet and not smelly! Will definitely stay again. Just a short walk to the Sahara where you can catch the monorail to the rest of the strip! Great service, love this hotel!

Excellent front desk service. Comfortable bed and quiet at the 9th floor

The hotel itself was okay I was expecting more. I had no access to a wine opener and I had to go into the convention center to open my bottle of wine. We had to call to have the room clean I understand that part. But the beds were absolutely horrible. I have neck and back issues and the three nights made it even worse the beds were so hard. Unfortunately I won’t be staying here again. Too far from the strip and not a great overall experience

The shower had zero pressure. I told the front desk about this 3 times, and it wasn't fixed.
Also. you can only get free water if you.have the room made up. I went to the front desk for water and was told inhad tompay for it bc the room wasnt bing serviced. Ridiculous.

Coming back from Utah national parks trip, we stayed at Ahern last night. It was a little funky for old folks like us but it was a neat hotel. Nice room and excellent breakfast with good service. Reasonable price and near the strip as well

It was a good hotel. Very nice inside. Bad part was it smelled like weed all over so i think i may have a contact high. Lication was ok not too far from the strip. Plenty of parking.

A decent choice when hotels on the strip are outrageously priced. The hotel is situated near Strat & Sahara. There is no parking & resort fee. The parking garage is well lit & had security.
Pros: Quiet, smoke-free property. Hardly saw any other guests. It's a clean facility. There are some nice cars at the entrance for car enthusiasts to check out. We were placed in a handicap accessible room, not by request. Room was spacious. I wipe everything down again before settling in a room. Headboards, phone, & clock were all dusty. Everything else was clean. Large bathrooms, but tiny counter space. Two closets & several drawers. There is a fridge in the room, but it made a subtle noise that sounded like a pigeon.
Cons: Hard/firm beds. Woke up with both arms asleep & had shoulder pain. Husband woke up with back pain. We were on the 7th floor & could hear some traffic noise & cars racing during the night. Our check-in was not a good or bad experience. Absolutely no information was provided upon check-in. Although there was a concierge desk, there was no one available.
There is no casino. It is a very quick walk to the Sahara. Better yet, it's best to walk to Fountainbleu & sign up for their rewards program, which offers $15 free play & $15 food/beverage. We walked all the way to the Venetian with no issue. It's an easy drive to park at any central casino. I walked with my husband and never felt unsafe. We walked both day & night in the area. Just be diligent of your surroundings

Check in was good. Nice room and they placed us down the hall away from elevators as requested. On the second morning of our stay half way thru my shower with conditioner in my hair and all soaped up the water turned off. It took about 12 minutes for the water pressure to return and finally finished my rinse. After returning home a few days after my trip they charged my card the deposit. I immediately called and spoke with a front desk representative and they said I had an early check in. They did some research and my receipt showed a check in time of 5:02pm two hours and 2 minutes after the check in time start window. They say that I will be reimbursed but still waiting on the chargeback. BEWARE

Just a quick one night stop on our way to LA, but a great choice.
Off the strip, but not too far from the action.
Clean, quiet, roomy, comfortable and affordable.
Would've been nice to have a coffee maker in the room for our early start.

No frills hotel a bit off the strip. Nice touch with breakfast (choose from 3 plates) but no drinks included, not even brew coffee. Anyway it's worth it, get a coffee from the coffee shop on the 2nd floor!
South strip access is cumbersome if not taking a cab/uber. Strat and Arts District is in walking distance.
I was absolutely not bothered by the redish color in the room, was hardly in the room when it was bright outside.

Very nice and clean. Not too far from the strip. $20 taxi to the Mirage.
