This house was perfect for our group of friends on a ski trip! The gear room was super spacious, the house was incredibly clean and stocked, the bedrooms and bathrooms were all very spacious and comfortable, and all the amenities (hot tub, indoor pool, sauna, theater, pool table) were truly top notch. The hosts were also very responsive and accommodating! It was a perfect stay and we hope to stay again in the future! Couldn’t recommend this home more.

The Property was absolutely beautiful!!! Lots of privacy and a ton of land for the dogs to run around. The pool was such a great feature for the kids. The beds were very comfortable. The spiral staircase was a little tight going up and down and not great for the grandparents but minor drawback. We had some trouble with the internet and tvs not turning on when we first arrived (likely due to the snow storm) but the owner sent someone out right away to resolve the issue. Excellent communication. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely consider staying again in the future!

We absolutely loved this place and the attention to detail that Jenna and her team provided. We booked the location for my wife’s 40th birthday and upon arrival, there were balloons and a card for her! Everything contained in the listing was accurate and the house looked immaculate. The pool and hot tub were both super clean and much enjoyed =). They really thought of everything - from kitchen needs to outdoor activities and firewood, they provided it all. We brought our dogs along and they enjoyed the property as much as we did. We look forward to coming back!

Wow!
This was truly an amazing home to stay at! We are party of 8 with our pets and there was more than enough room to accommodate everyone. This house has everything you need. I liked to get up early and swim in the heated pool before having morning coffee on the deck. While enjoying my coffee I was entertained by the Belted Kingfisher flying along and catching her breakfast in the pond, often with deer walking around in the clearing behind her. Perfect way to start the day! During the day we swam in the pond and the pool, enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, and played yard games. The deck and yard are huge! You have your choice of fire pits too! There was so much to do- we did not even get to do it all in our week stay! Nights we would play games inside- the table was large enough to accommodate all of us, our game and snacks! Other nights we would play pool or have a fire and watch the stars. We were there during the Perseids which was also a wonderful treat!
The house is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything you could need. There are also many places close by to go out to eat- or grab food to go and come back to the house and sit outside and eat (our choice every time!).
Many in our group like to explore the local area when we go on vacation- not so this time. There was so much to see and do that we hung out at the house every day! It was fun filled and super relaxing! We cannot wait to come back!

We get a group of friends together every year and this house was perfect for our large group. Communication with the host was quick and easy. The house lived up to every expectation and was nice and private. Our friends had enough room to hang out and spread out around the house. The indoor pool was amazing as well. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed here Memorial Day weekend and continue to think about the hot tub when we feel stressed! We were 3 small families and the house was more than enough space for all of us. We brought food and drinks so we never had to leave the property and it did not disappoint! It was well stocked with very nice appliances, the bedding was all comfortable and rooms spread out enough for everyone to have space! The pool, the sauna, the media room, the pool table, the hot tub, the grounds- what’s not to love?
Another reviewer noted that it’s easier to bring the luggage in for the downstairs room from the entrance by the hot tub and that made things very easy! Oh and the bar area and second fridge!
We hope to go back for a longer amount of time and spend some time enjoying Maine but really- you don’t have to leave the estate. It’s fabulous.

We had a wonderful stay here for a girls weekend, celebrating our friend’s upcoming wedding. Communication with the team in advance of our stay was excellent; they provided many recommendations for us when I let them know a few things we were hoping to do. Being in a more remote area than we are used to, the house really was the destination (we only left for dinner out our last night). It had everything and more we could have hoped for (stocked pantry, all the kitchen gadgets, icemaker at the bar, streaming on the tvs, pool floats and toys, towel hooks out at the hot tub, glassware and even a dishwasher downstairs – which we forgot about but could see how it’d be helpful). One highlight was that there were more than enough pool towels for our group and it was a bonus that they dried so quickly when hung up in the pool area. The house is warm – despite turning the heat off essentially, it was still quite warm, so just be mindful of that when packing. The only way downstairs is a circular staircase, which did make lugging most of our things down there cumbersome, but once we figured out we could load everything in through the foyer and then take it directly outside down the deck and in through the slider by the hot tub, we were fine. We just were conscious of the dirt from the driveway on our shoes so we made piles by the doors and went from there. It also probably wouldn’t be an issue for other groups necessarily, but we were bringing things to set up a margarita bar and snacks etc to be downstairs. Be sure to use everything the house has to offer! People enjoyed the sauna in addition to the pool and hot tub, and the movie theater was awesome – there’s a microwave downstairs and popcorn bowls too! Some of the group with better shoes (there was a lot of snow on the ground) trekked out to the covered bridge and loved that too. We wanted to support local business as much as possible and so we set a meeting point at Sud’s Pub – the food was better than typical bar food. We got take home and heat meals from the Good Food Store, and had a fantastic dinner out at The Elizabeth, which is our friend’s name, so we had to try it and were so glad we did! We also had the Mountain View Massage team come to the house and give massages which were hands down the best massages we’ve had. We cannot recommend them enough! I appreciate all the details that went in to welcoming our group for a long weekend. Would love to stay again for a longer time!

This house and property is the perfect place to get away with a group and do whatever you're looking for. Minutes away from Sunday Rivers awesome skiing trails, indoor pool that is very well maintained, out door hot tub with great views, downstairs lounge and bar area with pool table and a movie theater that is top notch and very comfortable. There is no lack of things to do while staying at this house. We went with a large group and Janna and her team couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. Highly recommend anyone looking for a big property to book this ASAP. I think this will be hard to book once people find out about it!

We enjoyed a weekend away skiing and riding at Sunday River. House held our entire clan of 11. We celebrated our daughter’s 21st Birthday. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all. The big plus was the ability to bring our dogs.

An incredible Thank you to the Birch Team! Our family celebrated Thanksmass as a yearly tradition and being able to have our entire large family together was a blessing.
We started the weekend off in the pool, of course, and then the theater. We enjoyed being able to cook as family, decorate sugar cookies and of course eat.
The pool was a big hit and there was plenty of room for our yearly game competition to the "Cormier Cup"
Everything from the hot tub to the sauna was perfect and everyone is hopeful to do this again next year.
Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday vacation!
We were all sad to be packing up and heading home.
Merry Thankmass - The Cormier Family

This is an amzing property. Unless they could change the weather (only 1 day) there's nothing they could change about it! Maybe, if they wanted to throw a high chair in the pantry? We did print out the instructions you emailed but I do like it when there is a book there with instructions already printed especially with the pool, etc. Tried the next day to rebook for next year but showing sold out - will keep trying though. Can't say enough good things about working with the owners and what wonderful memories we made!

My husband and I, along with our 2 terriers, stayed here for almost a week and we absolutely loved it! Our host, Janna, was amazing and responded to our questions so quickly. The house is exactly as described and was very clean and inviting upon arrival. It is exceptionally equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. The house has two floors with an open floor plan on each. The top floor is the main living space with a full kitchen, dining area and living room with a big TV. There are two bathrooms and two bedrooms on this level including the master bedroom which was spacious with comfortable bed/bedding. The other room had a double bed and a bunk bed. The lower level has a small movie theatre, pool table/bar area, sauna and entrance to the indoor pool which also leads out to the hot tub. We really enjoyed the decks, pool and hot tub! Our first couple of days were quite warm and our dogs loved the beautiful pond in back of the house. Note that the property is large enough to take your dogs for a nice stroll around it. It's secluded and surrounded by woods, but there are neighbors off of the main road. Honestly, this was the best VRBO/HomeAway home we've ever stayed in to just relax and rewind. I highly recommend it. Enjoy!

Pool, hot tub, sauna, billiards and theater room were all great. Bedrooms are a bit packed and there is a single spiral staircase between floors. House was in good shape and the amenities made it great for our gathering. The kitchen was a perfect size and they had all the needed pots/pans etc. Didn't venture much onto the property so can't speak to that. But we did do a local hike which was great.
