We stayed at this property during Christmas. We loved it so much. very clean, cozy place. very quite area, no traffic. beach is across the street, you can see it from the property windows. everything is walkable distance, lots of parks, shops, good restaurants.

It is a perfect location with an excellent view of the beach. The beach walkover across A1A is not open due to storm damage, but there is an open one about a block south. The landscaping needs some work and it's about time to refresh the interior, furnishings, and deck. It's all a bit dated. I could not get the oven to light (gas) on the last day. Great beach bungalow for a long weekend getaway. Owner was great to communicate with.

Location was really nice. Our one only negative is the beach. They stated beach access which was not entirely true. The beach access as well as the beach itself were heavily damaged by recent hurricanes. Great for surfing but you can barely walk along the beach during low tide.

We had an incredible time at Casa de la Playa Altos. We had our two kids (4 and 2) and this was the perfect place. Waking up to the sunrise every morning was just incredible. We will be coming back.

Wonderful view of the ocean and beach! Great little place, loved everything about it. Andres is accommodating and super friendly. Great restaurants and coffee close by. I would love to stay again!

Absolutely loved this beach house. Perfect location and perfect for 2. The large outdoor deck/patio was a plus with ocean view right there in front of you. Plenty of amenities to cook your own meals and close to restaurants and grocery store. Walking was easy and not far from a few eateries. This upstairs unit was was perfect and we'll be back again!

Despite hurricane Ian ravaging the coast and destroying most of the walkovers, we had a great vacation. The large deck allowed us to see the ocean constantly, also while in the house and bed. It’s beautiful

We've stayed at Casas de la Playa many times before and always enjoy our stay. It is comfortable, clean and very close to the beach. Andres is in contact before and after our trip, and we've never had any issues at all. The apartment is close to Daytona and St. Augustine, yet still feel private and cozy. I'm sure we will be back!

I enjoyed my stay at Andrés' property. It is centrally located in Flagler Beach and nicely located across the street from the beach. It is also located within walking distance from restaurants and my favourite coffee shop in the whole area (Yes Coffee). The communication with Andrés was fluid and also made me feel comfortable during my stay. The only recommendation for all travellers is to ensure that they bring shampoo/conditioner as although the property has soap for the guests, doesn't include hair toiletries. I would definitely stay there the next time I am in the Flagler Beach area.

First, this quaint, "old school" Florida property has an amazing view of the ocean. You can wake up to the sunrise, walk your dog on the beach, and sit on the deck listening to the wave roll in. We enjoyed several of the local eateries: Dinner: Funky Pelican and Tortugas Lunch: Beach Belly Bob's and Ocean Grill. Pup cups at the Java Beanz - Don't forget to try Key Lime Pie at Tortugas. Andres was a great communicator and answer all of our questions.

My husband and 2 adult children stayed in the upstairs unit for Christmas. The view was amazing and the location was great. The bathroom is a bit dated which made it feel a bit dirty. Also could use updated towels. The wrap around deck is amazing! We would go back for sure.

We needed a break. This charming, old Florida home on the ocean was perfect. Being from south FL, we did not mind that the weather was cool and cloudy. The sound of the big waves breaking was like meditation. St. Augustine for a nice day trip.

This was our first time at this property but we have been coming to Flagler Beach for many years. We love how quiet it is and non-commercial. The view from the property was spectacular and we saw a pod of 15 dolphins on our second night. The space was spotless and perfect for my husband and I. We loved the open layout and the brightly colored kitchen. We could walk to the beach in less than 2 minutes and also walk to multiple restaurants for take-out. We also loved the natural landscape in the front of the house. Thank you for the hospitality! We will definitely be back

Flagler Beach and Andres were just what we were looking for. The beach was not only beautiful, but we felt like we were the only ones there at times. Sitting on the deck and enjoying the view was also amazing. Everything we needed was there and ready for us. Andres answered all our questions and took care of our one concern promptly. La casita is a private, wonderful little rental across the street from Flagler Beach. It is cozy, has EVERYTHING you need (except for an iron) - we needed one because we were there for a wedding and our clothes needed some ironing after our trip. It is immaculately clean and sitting on the deck was like heaven. Andres Nazario was a wonderful host/owner - always ready and willing to assist and always available on the phone, which was a HUGE plus. One tip to future renters - Be sure to read the book in the living room - it has all kinds of information that is really helpful with your stay. LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!! Thank you Andres!!

Overall we were happy with our stay. Flagler Beach was a nice, quiet little beach town and I guess it's quiet because there are police everywhere. I will probably return some day as I really liked the small town, residential feel it had. There were no large hotels or even condo buildings like there are in Ormond or further south. It was nice and the beach was very clean and private. We booked the house because it was simple, quiant and right at the beach. When we booked it we didn't know they were building a house next door and that construction would be going on and the view obstructed, so that was disappointing, but we were compensated for this inconvenience so it's all good. I do feel the property is overpriced now that I have stayed here and now that it does not boast the view and beach access it once had. If the price were lowered I would absolutely stay here again, but for the current price, I don't think so. The house is equipped with all the basics you should need such as linens, towels, dishes, some cookware, toilet paper, paper towels, hand towels, dish soap, trash bags... You will need to bring your own spices, coffee and shampoo. We found it to be very clean, but were not impressed with the sticky pad thing on the bottom of the tub- the mat thing some people use- it seemed rather gross, but that was the only thing that we found to be dirty or unappealing. The internet worked great, but the TV only provides basic cable with very few channels, so make sure you bring some entertainment for rainy days. I really liked the big front deck! The view was great! You may want to bring or buy some lounge chairs if you like to lay out, as there are only 4 chairs and a small table, but there is plenty of room to sit and relax, cookout, have a party, whatever. The deck is the best part! Customer service was very prompt and friendly, but not as informative as one would expect. Be aware of the construction next door. There were machines and people working, so it was not as peaceful as we hoped because we were not made aware of this until we arrived and saw it - the ad had not been updated. Now the pics show the house being built next door, but it still isn't mentioned. Just a heads-up. Other than the obvious, I don't have any complaints, but I will not stay here again. Mr. Nazario was very nice to work with and I appreciate him understanding our disappointment and correcting the situation, but I was not as impressed as I hoped I would be.

I'm so happy I booked this vacation home. Everything was perfect, the place is kept very clean, and we even arrived to a welcome gift in the kitchen for us! I only wish that I knew that the dune crossover pictured directly in front of the property was washed away by Hurricane Matthew last year. The city is still working to restore the dune crossovers in Flagler Beach, but they haven't repaired the one in front of the property as-of May 2017. This is not Andres fault (obviously), so still a five start vacation rental! We ended up taking full advantage of the sun deck instead, and were still extremely satisfied with our stay. We may be back in the future. Thanks for everything!

We were in Flagler Beach to participate in Bike Week without the hassles of staying in Daytona. This was a lovely time in this apartment with great view of the beach, comfortable and with everything we could need. The weather cooperated and we enjoyed visiting Flagler Beach restaurants and bars. We really liked Seaside Grill on A1A, and the Funky Pelican by the Pier. We are ready to come back next year!

Very good experience, cute place for a couple trying to getaway for the weekend. Love the dog beach in front of the house, definitely a plus. Only reason I give 4/5 is the lock on the outside was very difficult to open to get the key out, we had to pry it open with some leverage, also wish you had a toaster, haha. Other than that good stay and would come again.
