About this condo rental
Located in Eugene, this lovely condo for $96 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Studio Bamboo is a cozy spot in a nice neighborhood just minutes (5) from downtown Eugene / U.O. Everything you need to enjoy your stay is provided. Clean, private studio with separate entrance ready for you to enjoy your visit to Eugene! This is a private studio apartment (a converted garage) with a queen bed, full bathroom and kitchenette. Private entrance at the back of the house. The studio is attached to the main 5-bedroom house, which is another airbnb. The only shared space is the laundry room (lockable doors) and the backyard. You may see or hear other guests during your stay. This studio is a converted garage with the laundry room shared and bedrooms above the studio. If you are overly sensitive to any noise this is something to consider prior to booking. ________________________________ I have found over time that every VRBO is different and every guest’s expectations are different when they book a short term rental. It is my goal to make sure that I am as transparent as possible so that you can make an educated decision on your choice of where you would like to stay. PET POLICY: All pets must be approved in advance. You must confirm that the animal has no history of property destruction, indoor urination/defecation, aggression, or excessive noise. I expect you to have the animal with you or crated when you're not home. In order to maintain an allergen-low environment for other guests, we have our cleaners do deep cleans after every animal stays there and hire a carpet / upholstery cleaner if necessary. Any undisclosed pet will result in a large penalty. FEES: Dogs and cats: 14 days or less: $100 // 15 days or more: $200. This fee does not cover any damages caused by the pet that result in excessive cleaning or repairs. ESAs / Service animals: If you have an ESA animal please send me a copy of the paperwork including the letter from your healthcare provider. If you have a service animal trained to help you with a disability, I will be asking you the following legally allowable questions: 1) Is the service animal required because of a disability? 2) What work or task has the animal been trained to perform? (Your disability does *not* need to be disclosed) NOISE: No excessive noise. No parties. No yelling. Quiet hours are strictly 10pm - 8am. You may hear guests in the main house. However, if they are disobeying the quiet hours or rules, please let us know asap. SMOKING: No smoking anywhere on the property: CLEANING: Sometimes a cleaner does a poor job and it catches me (and you!) off guard. Please let me know if the cleaner missed something(s) important and allow me to fix the issue. I assure you that we strongly value cleanliness and any lack of cleanliness is not on purpose. AC: We will add an AC unit when it starts getting hot. Please let us know if that's the case. SUPPLIES: We provide you enough supplies to get you through a month. If you end up staying more than a month, it is on you to purchase your own supplies (e.g. TP, shampoo, etc)

Perfect location to enjoy hikes, drinks and food in Eugene. I was 10-15 min away from everything.
Communication was great. The bed is super comfortable.

The check-in process was super easy! The place was most adorable. Definitely heed the warning of the step up to the bathroom so you don’t chip your big toenail like I did. 😆
The refrigerator with freezer was awesome. The shower and sink were clean. The bed was nice and soft. The bedding was clean, and the two little chairs at the table was just enough for me and my daughter. I made a pot of coffee every and sat outside on the stoop and had coffee with the neighborhood deer. I was definitely stay here again.

Honestly was such a great experience!
My boyfriend and I got very lucky because nobody else was staying in the unit attached. So I can’t exactly speak for any “sound issues” (honestly don’t even think it would have been that bad). However every other aspect was so nice!
The bed had a lot of pillows and blankets, very cozy ones too. The kitchenette, although mostly unused by us (we prefer ordering), every unit worked very well. I love the refrigerator, very cute and 50s esque.
The table was mostly used by my boyfriend in order to do some work, and being able to be so close to him while I was on the bed and he was working. It was very nice :).
The shower temp gets super hot, which I love. But is very easy to get cold, it’s pretty quick when changing the temp. I will say one of the towel racks fell off randomly, but it wasn’t really an issue I would just say it might need to be replaced.
Laundry was super easy too! Both washer and dryer work great, and although it is a shared space, I don’t think it would be too much of a hassle if both units were occupied. The only thing I will say is, we didn’t realize there was a heater in a closet behind the bed. So we got quite cold, but I that’s mostly our fault :P.
Overall great experience! Ubers to and from campus only $12, super easy. Could honestly walk if it hadn’t been raining! I’d recommend this over a hotel especially if you plan to be away from it for most of the day. Sure there are no accommodations but if you aren’t expecting that going in, I can’t see why you’d be disappointed.

We stayed from 10-26-22 through 10-30-22. The apartment is quaint and suited our needs. It is basically a studio apartment that easily holds a party of two. It is attached to a main house. It has a full/queen bed, full bathroom, kitchenette that included a two burner cooktop (no oven), refrigerator, everything you need to cook, a small dining table and coffee maker. It was very clean upon arrival and we did get greeted by some deer in the back yard. We did have one issue with the heating but the host took care of it right away. Communication was awesome. When we come back to Eugene to close on a house next year, this will be the place we stay. Thank you so much!

There was everything needed for our week long stay. Very woodsy area of eugene and the deer in the back yard were an added bonus.

If you're looking for an affordable place to stay in South Eugene this spot works! A few downsides, this is an apartment attached to a larger main upstairs dwelling that also seems to be a VRBO or other rental. On the weekend it was party-time and the apartment didn't keep the noise out. The shower handle needs attention, it's loose. There was a funky smell, maybe leftover from some upstairs cooking? While the post says there is parking in the driveway, it was snagged by the upstairs, so street parking was the reality. Overall, would I have family stay here again - no. My parents would prefer guaranteed quiet and clean. Would I recommend it to a friend who needs an affordable spot, sure! So - just depends on the type of traveler you are. If some funkiness and noise don't phase you, save $$ and stay here. If you prefer the finer things - look elsewhere.
