I didn’t stay because my plans were changed at the last minute due to an auto accident. It was too late to cancel so I paid for a room that didn’t get used.

Traveled with kids, was an unexpected stay, and very last minute! I'm so glad they had availability as im not familiar with Georgia at all! Upon arrival the hotel was definitely nice (considering what we had left from prior, Helen GA). Overall I'd definitely recommend this place (with or without kids). I cant speak on the breakfast as we slept passed that but judging off the the stay and the cleanliness of the place, I'm sure the breakfast was good! I will add that we didn't have blankets or pillows for the pullout couch but we managed and made it work! It was a Great overnight stay.

It was a really relaxing and comfortable stay. Thr staff for the most part very attentive and hospitable. The young man that checked us in on Saturday was a true gem. The ladies were ok. But overall great stay

We stayed one night for a soccer tournament. Room was clean. We loved that there was no carpet. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative that I can think of was that we could hear noises from above us and next door (tv and foot steps, etc). Wasn't too big of a deal though, still went to sleep okay.

Our room was clean and comfortable. We were visiting family for Christmas and the location was perfect. Being pet friendly was a plus and was less expensive than our pet sitter at home. The breakfast was very good. The front desk desk clerk, Demi was very welcoming and accommodating to all our needs. We will definitely stay at Best Western Plus in Oakwood again in the future!

I have stayed at a few places in Gainsville, and have been disappointed each time. Best Western Plus will be the place I stay for now on. It is clean, quiet, and anything you need is in walking distance.

This hotel was very nice and clean. Good hot breakfast and had several text from the hotel during our stay concerning how we were doing and if our room was ok which was a nice gesture. Will stay here again in the future.

This hotel looked new. Our room was large with a sitting area. The bathroom was also large with glass shower doors and all very clean and new looking. Staff was friendly throughout our weekend visit. Breakfast included sausage, bacon, pancakes and an assortment of cereal, fruit cups, yogurt, etc. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely come back.

My reservation was for the wrong day which I realized immediately upon receiving my confirmation(1 minute after completing the reservation) so I immediately began the process to have it corrected, was not a seemless process but was done, new confirmation received. Arrived and the hotel had the incorrect check in but were very understanding and helpful. The general manager fixed it all & gave us a room for the night. I still have an extra $100 charge on my account. I should have worked through the actual hotel & not Travelocity.

Always walk in to a very welcoming atmosphere where the staff treat you like family and call you by name when they see a familiar face. Always impressed with the cleanliness and amazing front desk and housekeeping staff.

Not enough towel holders, there was only one hook on the back of bathroom door. A lot of high pitch noises coming from the bathroom pipes. The low hum from the internet signal booster was very annoying over night.

Everything was awesome except I noticed some repairs that were needed like chipped paint in elevator and in room. But other than that awesome.. breakfast wasn’t all the way cooked either.

Everything stood out for me about this stay! From the personalized welcome text messages , to the customer service, to the hotel decor and layout. The pool was simple and perfect. Breakfast didn't miss. Plenty of restaurants close by. 10 out of 10 and I'm somewhat picky!

Great hotel and every nice including a breakfast area and food pretty good. Nice pool and fitness area and reception had coffee out most of the day plus a pay latte maker and keurug in room. Shower head awesome. Issue was non existent house keeping on floor 1 . Our son had clean towels and cleaning every day for 5 nights stay on floor 3. For us poor: One day they showed up and took the floor mat away and one garbage can replaced. But other days didn’t show at all . Never made the bed and one day we came back to a pile of dirty towels on the sink counter! We had to go down to desk to get new towels, soap etc. place is great but housekeeping is POOR.
