The House was great! Located very close to Stateline nightlife and restaurants. We brought our dog along and he enjoyed the location as much as us. There was a great walking trail right next to the house which led directly to the beach. It was perfect to walk him! Overall a great property that I would recommend to anyone. We will probably book again!

It’s our second time renting this house because we liked it so much! We love the fireplace and hot tub. Could use some more personal touches.

Great location, quiet neighborhood. Close to casinos, restaurants and golf course. Beds and furnishings were comfortable. I recommend highly.

Highlights: the property's location near Edgewood, shopping, and the beach. The convenience added value to the trip. I commend Vacasa's responsiveness, which helped enhance our overall experience.
Lowlights: Strong odor of pet urine indoors was an immediate concern. Tiny master bathroom and mold in the shower. The intrusion of a motion-sensing security light affecting sleep, along with inadequate blinds compromising rest and privacy.
The backyard was also marred by an enduring pet urine odor and our discovery of dog feces needed attention.
Issues continued as ants infiltrated the kitchen despite closed windows. Although Raid helped, the ant issue persisted. More alarmingly, evidence of a rat in the living area and kitchen raised discomfort and safety concerns. Chewed bananas and bagels, paw prints on kitchen counter, rat trap behind the couch and rat droppings in kitchen were clear indicators. Vacasa knew of this issue before and during my stay.
Lastly, encountering another giant gray rat near the deck during hot tub use added to the discomfort. We couldn’t relax and Vacasa's suggestion of procuring rat traps ourselves was laughable.
My intent in sharing these experiences is not solely to express discontent but to offer an accurate perspective. While the property's prime location and Lake Tahoe's beauty are undeniable, the $$$$ paid for three nights did not align with the range of issues – odors, mold, ants, rats, feces, and insufficient resolutions.

We loved how close this property was to Heavenly Village. It was clean and moderately stocked, with useful appliances. The hot tub wasn't working for the duration of our stay, though we were informed right away when Vacasa noticed the problem. The roof started leaking during a rainstorm, but aside from notifying Vacasa and speaking to someone who said he would come right away to cover the roof before the blizzard, we left before it could impact us. The master bathroom was small, but otherwise we enjoyed the space. I would consider staying again, though I would need reassurances that the leaking was repaired.

We stayed at Escape to Edgewood in December to ski. It is an awesome location but the communication with the management company is very poor. I texted and emailed and finally had to call with each problem. There were several maintenance issues that should have been taken care of before we stayed. There is limited streaming available due to the age of the TV and chrome. This home is cold despite constantly turning up the heat and therefore I would recommend it as a summer vacation home. The neighbor was amazingly kind and helpful. Kitchen is well stocked and supplies provided were above expectation.

The house is 5 minutes from heavenly village and Nevada beach, a short walk to Sushi Pier which has a great all you can eat sushi lunch for $29.95, and it’s 30 minutes from emerald bay. The backyard was great for our pup and has great views of the mountains. The hot tub and fireplace really iced the cake.

When we arrived in South Lake Tahoe, I received a text from Vacasa that our house was ready for an early check in!
The house was warm, inviting & immaculate. The location is unbelievable and quiet. The home is stocked with everything you need for you & your fur baby! A lot of thought went into this house.
We did have a problem with the thermostat, but the repairman Kevin showed up no more than 15 minutes later.
I would highly recommend this home & definitely will return!

Clean, lots of room, easy access, home away from home. Kitchen dishes and cooking ware was great. Plenty of towels and sheets, bedding and blankets. No dressers. Thankful for hangers and use of a laundry basket. The hot tub felt great! The yard was easy to clean up from the dogs. Great customer service from the agency! I would recommend to everyone!

This home was clean and comfortable.
Very nice, updated kitchen. Backyard was fully fenced, great for pups. Location cannot be beat - close to everything!
Had an issue with the heater, but Stephanie was great, and came out and reset the thermostat. This may be required with each stay, we suggest renters checking thermostat upon arrival. Overall, a great stay!
