About this house rental

Situated in Keuka Lake, this lovely house for $218 per night is a great option for your next break. Outside the hustle of the village, but close enough for a short commute. Plenty of parking if you have a boat, trailer, motorhome or multiple vehicles. You're sure to enjoy your stay at our uniquely decorated home. 2 miles to Keuka college, walking distance to abandon brewery and vineyard view winery. Few minute drive to antler run distillery and lyonsmith brewery. Right in the heart of wine country. House is on well water, host recommends bringing bottled water

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving. We were in the area for my child to take a tour of the local college. There were 3 teens, 2 parents, and one dog. We arrived late at night, and the darkness of the streets didn't allow us to see the beauty of the wine orchards that lined the roads as you arrived. Check-in was easy, and we settled in quickly. The house has a lot of character as there are new concepts incorporated into the old building. Safety features (motion sensor floor lights) for the stairs and upstairs hallway as there is a small lip going/coming from some rooms. The rooms were spacious, the place was clean, and they had some moisture/deodorizer around, so it didn't have that "closed up" spell when you were there. All the needed items to cook and prepare meals. Walk-in pantry closet to store all the things you bring with you. Towns within 20 for your needs. We did a Walmart pick-up for 8 AM and had everything we needed for our stay. It was cold so we did not enjoy the outside. Chair, fire pit, and enough space to play some lawn games. Our dog enjoyed roaming and taking in all the new smells. The roadway is not busy but has some gorgeous views as you drive. The negative, which can be fixed easily, is a blind in the kitchen so we can have privacy at night. No one was behind us, was uneasy that someone could see right in. Also, I would like some added security for the side door you come in as there is a screen door, mud room, and entry door with simple glass.

Interior of house is clean and up to date, rustic feel Offers everything a home should have, with the exception of a few things. Should have extra toilet paper and Kleenex. Would be nice to offer shampoo and laundry soap for those who forgot to bring some Location was quiet. No neighbors and closest town for food ect was about a 10 minute drive.
