Great amenities. Great value for the money.
Location was good but not on beach or near main strip.

Location and poolside bar and entertainment
That the heated pool closed early

The game room was more of a kid play room which is fine if you have kids. The bar was a vibe and the complimentary spa amenities made it A RELAXING VACATION/ BDAY TRIP. The view was beautiful!
Breakfast not included. It was a cleaning fee if you wanted the bed sheets changed.

The location was great, the rooms were clean and just like pictured, there’s so many amenities for adults and children. We went for our daughter’s birthday and the bar/grill staff were amazing and went above and beyond to help celebrate her, the live music was also great. All pools were heated and comfortable to get in even in the middle of January. They had a pier and plenty of boating/kayak options that I’m sure is wonderful during the summer!
The bathroom was a little on the small side

There was two pools which was convenient.
The staff was VERY rude! One was named Jackie & the other I’m not sure. They don’t treat you like guest but instead try to rush you out of their face!

This place is definitely a must visit. Words cannot explain how much me and my partner enjoyed staying here. The staff was so nice, the view was amazing, and all of the extra amenities they offer.
I will say there aren’t that many people of “color”but non the less we enjoyed our stay, and we plan to visit again!

The spa, wharf, bay views and the Polynesian performance
Our AC stopped working twice during the day, but each time maintenance came in a very short time to fix it. Then, around midnight, it stopped again, but we didn’t call for assistance- too late in evening. We mentioned this to the staff in early morning, and they were apologetic and agreed to provide a partial refund because we had to leave because the room was so warm. the staff was very accommodating and understanding

I had a good stay although the resort was not as updated as the pictures portrayed.
My room did not have a microwave oven. I stayed in 4101 and the pool in that area had not been maintained. The game room was not as portrayed as the website which was one of my reasons for picking this resort.

The boardwalk, security, staff were great. Complimentary bikes. Flip-Flops bar.

Nice pool area overlooking the bay.
We had to drive from building 5 to the front to use the pool. It was a bit too far to walk.

Beautiful resort with many things to do. While they were undergoing some construction we were made aware of the fact and they did their best to minimize the construction. It was handled well.

Had to wait over an hour to check in rooms were not ready, refrigerator did not work , was not close to beach , nothing was explained properly had no idea where to go, the map was crazy, every question asked was redirected to something else , terrible , was told they had room service that was a lie , was told to call for golf carts no one would answer the phone , food at the cafe came out cold it was ridiculous !
Refer back to the previous question, you had to walk 900 miles to find the private beach an once we got there the men that worked picking up garbage were lurking around watching women it was very creepy, was never told after I book that the resort went cashless 2 weeks ago, my friends brought cash , so I had to pay for everything an then we had to figure out our totals , just way to much crap to deal with when you are trying to vacation

The ladies who were selling the time shares were kind and the night staff. (Daytime sucked!) The security guard lady was AWESOME! So was the DJ. Jesse Howell. The guy over all of the food stations were cool and he came over and asked us about the food. Hard worker!
For what they charged, I would have rather gone to a chain hotel. Our room was full of broken things. The bathroom door was broken. The TV had a part falling off and the room was infested with HUGE ants. Anytime you ask the people in the day time they seem frustrated and it's understandable because they are under staffed and I felt bad for them. But for almost a thousand dollars this was awful. They are going through renovations but charging like they are complete. The pool was green on the side we were on but was blue by lobby. Just a horrible experience. If I had not come with other couples I would have left. There were people who literally just left because how bad the experience was. I will be posting online cause no one should experience this. Plus the pictures of those huge ants!

Sylvia at Pelican’s Grill was exceptional! The food was wonderful and the portions were very generous. She took the time to have conversations with us. Our second room setup was more roomy. We had a very horrible check-in experience, but Jose and Alex in maintenance saved the day! Literally, they coached us in how to get a fair experience for our stay and went out of their way to get us vouchers for food and drinks. They also listened to our venting. They understood customer service. If it weren’t for them, we would have been extremely upset and dissatisfied. Jose, Alex, and Sylvia were the very BEST part of our stay. They went above and beyond their job descriptions! I’m sure of it! Our family is super thankful for them.
Check-in was awful. Ashley I believe was still learning the ropes some and she was very friendly and patient. However, Rosalyn the front desk manager doesn’t seem fit for the industry. If she continues to manage, I wouldn’t be surprised if business and customer satisfaction plummeted. Check-in is at 4:00pm. We arrived at 4:30pm to check-in and were told our room was not ready. They refused to give us an estimated time. Like 30 minutes or like 2 hours. We had cold stuff in our car along with a handicapped senior and a three year old. We decided to checkout the little boardwalk and beach and gave them 30 minutes. At that point we had to decide what we were going to do for the evening. We went back and demanded to be told an estimate so we know what to do. They kept telling us they were understaffed and front desk has nothing to do with housekeeping. We also mentioned how disgusting the pools were. We were skeptical about even getting in them. All three pools at check-in were basically green, super cloudy, and trashy. They wound up getting a room ready and we went in to find that the air conditioning was leaking like a waterfall. The carpet in the closet was soaking wet and you could tell much more of the carpet was damaged from water. It also smelled wet and like mildew/mold. They tried to place us in another building with no tv, cable, and internet. Around 7pm were placed in a better room after arguing. Rosalyn made it seem like nothing was available but come to find out we had to “book” those other type room in order to stay in them. Had to explain that we did not pay for a room with a waterfall leak and moldy carpet not a room with no tvs so she needed to make something happen. The customer should not have to fight and argue to get what is fair and right. A vacation should not be filled with these kind of worries. I also don’t recall any apologies from Rosalyn in all our correspondence and phone calls. We won’t stay here again.

Beautiful. Everyone was nice when you walked by. Great location. Close to fun activities.
The beach closed at 10 as well as the bars. On the last night, the neighbors smoked marijuana and it made our room smell awful, you couldn’t even sit in the living room.

The main building was very pretty and updated. And the staff was very nice and friendly.
The rooms were not very clean and they do not disclose that you are not in the main building so it is a good walk to the pools and bay and restaurants. The key for the doors often stop working. We had to wait for someone to come and they said they did not know how long it would be and one of us was a type one diabetic and all of her medical equipment was in the room that we could not access. When we first arrived they say that checkin starts at 4 but when we got there they said they did not know when the room would be ready but check in starts at 4 so we all just sit there in the lobby and wait until they tell us it is ready. We waited 2 hours and they said we could have access to the pools but couldnt hold our luggage for us. So we sat in the lobby for two hours.

The fact that there were no microwave and I couldn't stay longer 😍

The bedroom was way too small, we didn’t have a microwave like it says we would, the location was way out of the way. I feel like the pictures lie they have a owners association and that’s what the pictures are for. Our bedroom was so small you could barely walk around the bed. There’s no inclusive breakfast, nothing is inclusive for being a resort you have to pay extra and it’s expensive. Would not recommend. The walls were paper thin we could hear everyone else around us complaining about it. Our tub would not drain, the shower barely worked. There were a ton of spiders and even cockroaches we had to kill in our room. It’s pictured on the water but it’s not the gulf. It’s basically recommended not to swim in that water because of alligators and snakes. The only place we saw warnings of alligators and snakes. Would not go back.
