About this house rental

Located in one of the most desirable and established neighborhoods on Kiawah, this was designed in harmony with nature and is nestled among grand live oaks with unparalleled access to the scenic and navigable waters of the Kiawah River. Walk out on the dock and enjoy an evening boat ride and be sure to put out your crab trap! Enjoy the natural breezes and watch the dolphins which will swim in your back yard. Having a dock with these views on this private street makes this the perfect house for a family retreat. This island home has been called an architectural masterwork, and rightly so. The travertine-floored foyer sets the stage for room-after-room of luxury living space, adorned with beautiful finishes that take their inspiration from the decorative arts. From distressed pine walls to exposed beam ceilings, this home showcases the finest forest products throughout. The living room's focal point is a fireplace with a lovely marble surround and ornate antique mantel. Oversized arched cabinetry on either side turns the entire wall into an entertainment center and showcase for collectibles. The coffered ceiling with exposed wood beams perfectly captures a feeling of refined rusticity. But the real people-magnet are the transom-crowned, floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the Kiawah River. If the river creates the soul of 30 Rhett's Bluff Road, the kitchen is its undisputed heart. The exposed-beam ceiling extends skyward, and furniture-grade cabinets add a sense of warmth and comfort to every party and family gathering. A handmade, crackle subway tile backsplash, thick crown molding, wet bar, and tile flooring contribute to the sense of convenient, comfortable elegance. In addition to a Sub-Zero cabinet-front fridge and Bosch cabinet-front dishwasher, the stunning countertops feature quartzite natural stone, and the center island is complete with its own icemaker and wine fridge. The kitchen offers plenty of space for serving guests who love being in the kitchen as cooking commences. Like in the living and dining rooms, light-filled windows invite the outdoors in throughout the first-floor master bedroom. A roomy shower that reflects the tranquility of a riverside retreat separates her side of the master bath from his. Her side has both a vanity and dressing vanity, and the entire bath includes the elegance of travertine flooring. Well-appointed spaces like the first-floor guestroom also welcome anyone who comes to visit. Making your way up the beautiful staircase to the second level, a sitting room greets guests. A perfect spot for gathering or relaxing with a movie or a book, the sitting room serves as a transitional space between guest rooms. The third level has views from an even loftier perch, making it the perfect place to get away from it all. In addition to the home's fifth bedroom and a room for exercising or hobbies, this floor offers the peace and quiet of a wood-paneled office. You can also step from the picture-postcard scenery of the third-floor sitting room onto a balcony overlooking the river. Kiawah Rental License RBL19-006221 5 parking places approved

The house has panoramic views of colorful sunsets along the Kiawah River. We loved the bike trails and view of dolphins swimming by every day. The spacious kitchen was perfect for our family french toast challenge. And we slept in comfort after enjoying the farmers market at Freshfield’s. We highly recommend this home for your next family vacation!

The outside comes in. If you want to see Kiawah Island as God and nature made it, the picture windows are all appointed to make it happen. Roomy, warm, rich, comfortable... fantastic property. Joyner with At The Ready, (property manager) is also fantastic. Delightful person. Available. "Above and beyond" with so many things - stocking the house (coffee, toothbrushes, soaps, etc.), greetings goodies, and even supplied us with a missing kayak paddle to make our experience complete. We give her and this property our highest recommendaiton! Well done...

We enjoyed our stay. The home is big and spacious and the elevator was used highly by my parents. The only thing is that some of the furniture chairs were very dusty and there were small bugs flying around. The master bathroom has heated tiles and separate toilets for his/her which we absolutely loved. My son and his papa enjoyed fishing and trying to catch crab on the pier. Everything was very nice and peaceful.
