The home affords breathtaking views of the Buffalo River Valley and manicured grounds all around. The expansive, private-park setting is shared with just three other cabins. THE LAND When you stay at Sky Hawk Ridge, you won't stay inside for long. Roam the land and discover the wonders of the beautiful landscape. Enjoy misty morning walks through dew-covered fields. Watch radiant sunsets over Ozark Mountains. When you walk along Sky Hawk's long ridge, you see up the Buffalo River Valley to layered green hillsides and distant blue ridge lines. You see rolling meadows with sentinel oaks, cattle grazing in lush pastures, deep green woods, nature's beauty at every turn. Explore miles of private trails that wind through dense forests and beside crystal streams. Wildlife is everywhere -- deer, turkey, fox, owls, songbirds, and all sorts of woodland creatures. Be dazzled by spring flowers, blue summer skies, rich fall colors, or foggy winter mornings. Sky Hawk Ridge is a nature-lover's paradise all year long. LOCATION Sky Hawk is just off US 65 on the north side of the Buffalo River. Restaurants, canoe rentals and river access points at Grinders Ferry, Gilbert and Tyler Bend are less than ten minutes away, but at Sky Hawk you’re secluded and surrounded by natural beauty, away from it all. The entrance is on the Gilbert Road (Hwy. 333), just 0.4 mile east of US 65. The cabin is at the end of a long drive, about 3/4 mile from the entry. Sited at the end of a prominent ridge, surrounded by meadow and framed by a trio of stately, old oaks, the house affords sweeping views up the river valley. The property has 3/4 mile of park frontage, and the Buffalo River Trail is just steps from the property corner. The park trail leads about a mile down to a long, wide gravel bar at Shine Eye Bluff -- the perfect spot to picnic, swim, fish or enjoy a lazy afternoon. (Shine Eye is also accessible by road, a five minute drive.) ACCOMMODATIONS Completed in September, 2023, this comfortable home has plenty of room for your family or two couples. Stunning architecture and tasteful furnishings make the house memorable in its own right. High dormer windows in the two-story living area and large windows in every room let you see forest and sky all around. The interior is sunny and uplifting, warm and inviting. Flanking the great room are two spacious bedroom suites. Separate bathrooms have large, walk-in showers. 703 Sky Hawk Drive is the newest of four vacation homes at Sky Hawk Ridge. Our expectations were exceeded! The house was exceptionally clean and well cared for. The setting was perfect for a few days of rest and relaxation with our two pups. The property allowed us to go for walks with the dogs and enjoy the beautiful views. The view from the living area was beautiful as well. Vaulted ceilings helped the space feel spacious and the gas fireplace/stove made it feel cozy and warm. We cooked breakfast and dinner each day and the kitchen was well stocked. The little touches of dish soap, paper towels, laundry detergent and dryer sheets were all appreciated. We really liked the fact that you welcomed our dogs and provided blankets to cover the furniture (we usually end up scrounging for sheets to protect the furniture) and towels to clean muddy paws. We also appreciated the fact that there was not a long list of to-do's at check-out. When we walked out the door for the last time we both said we'll be back!

If I could give this property 10 stars I would! It was private, clean, beautiful. The views were spectacular. The fully stocked kitchen had every utensil you would have in your own home. Can’t think of a better spot to have celebrated our anniversary. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at 703 Sky Hawk for a couple of nights on our anniversary week, and I must say it was a perfect choice. This cabin at Sky Hawk is the nicest place we've ever stayed. We've traveled extensively in the past five years, but this cabin exceeded all our expectations. We loved our stay and hated to leave. The first day was rainy and cold, so we enjoyed the beautiful interior, relaxed by the fireplace, and took advantage of the solitude. The property is beautiful and secluded, has relaxing views of the mountains, so very peaceful. The cabin itself is magnificent. It's spotlessly clean, bright with amazing windows, lofty ceilings, and incredibly cozy. The fireplace is amazing, and it warmed the cabin to toasty comfort on the cold mornings. The showers are great, and the furnishings and details are so genuinely nice. Absolutely 5 Stars! The bed is super comfortable, and the cabin is furnished with everything you need, so just bring your food and you are set. Sky Hawk is in a wonderful location, near the Buffalo National River and in a Dark Sky location where you can clearly see every star in the sky, which we enjoyed the second night of our stay. It's also close to several nice places to eat. Overall, this cabin is the perfect place to relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable experience.
