Situated in Fraser, this attractive house for $987 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. WinterHaven lodge is a custom, rustic modern home with unique touches throughout to make your mountain vacation memorable. From the custom, gourmet kitchen to the spacious living room, this home has everything needed to make your retreat dream come true. Spacious decks offer views of the stars at night and the ski runs, "the claw" and the continental divide during the day. Park in the heated garage or walk to the end of the driveway and catch the free shuttle for skiing, shopping and dining. Winter Park Short -Term Rental Registration No. 019604 Up a flight of stairs from the heated garage, the main living space of WinterHaven lodge spans two floors. An open concept kitchen and living/dining room are anchored by a massive island and custom stove enclosure. The living room features a two-story vaulted ceiling complete with floor to ceiling windows and two large authentic, Elk shed-antler chandeliers to illuminate the space. The kitchen features knotty hickory cabinets, soft-close drawers and quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, including 2 dishwashers, a wine fridge and a 48" dual fuel gas cooktop and 2 electric ovens. The range also features a griddle and grill. The addition of a pot-filler over the stove and insta-hot/cold faucet near the sink make this kitchen a cook's dream. Reclaimed beams from the Great Western Sugar Factory built in 1908 frame openings and reclaimed wind fence covers the ceiling while antique corbels, a turn of the century cast-iron stove (turned coffee bar), an 1800's icebox and a set of 18th century carved doors create unique pops of interest; while, Melvin, the trophy sized Elk, watches over the space. On the main floor level, two beautifully appointed guest rooms each contain queen sized, high end beds and share a full bath, unique pantry and laundry facilities. Up another flight of stairs, house three more bedrooms. The well appointment master bedroom features a king size metal canopy bed, with tempurpedic mattress, 2 leather accent chairs, a remote controlled gas fireplace and flat screen TV. Two 18th century carved wooden doors open, overlooking the living space below. The 5 point master bath features dual sinks, a walk-in glass shower, free standing tub and separate water closet. There are two other upstairs guest rooms. The first bedroom features two twin beds while the other room features a queen sized bed and two accent chairs. Both bedrooms feature unadulterated views of the continental divide. A third full bath is shared between the two upstairs guest rooms. A full size mattress is available to provide extra sleeping as needed. Three massive decks, one off the walk-out basement, one off the main floor and one off the master bedroom provide extended outdoor living space. Each offers breathtaking views of Winter Park ski runs, "the claw" landmark and the continental divide while minimal light pollution maximizes the night sky! The basement / garage level offers additional convenience and use. A brand new 7 person hot tub is available to soak away the days adventures. The unfinished basement is outfitted with a ping pong table, darts and air hockey; while, the mudroom area, complete with ski lockers and equipment storage, is offset from the garage and makes getting ready for the day easy. A second laundry facility in the mechanical room, a 220V Electric Vehicle (Tesla) charger, an indoor water hose, interior drains and a heated garage completes this luxurious home. Two heated garage parking spots are available with the rental. One additional car may be parked in the driveway. WinterHaven sits on a 1/2 acre corner lot nestled among the spruce, pine and aspen trees which make mountain living so fragrant and fresh. From the neighborhood fox, ground squirrel and marmont families, to deer, elk, moose and the occasional bear, neighborhood wildlife abounds. Motorized, hiking and mountain biking trails are accessed out the front and back doors giving our guests every mountain experience possible. WinterHaven does require the ability to navigate stairs and baby proofing is not provided. Guests have private access to the entire main house and main floor and second floor decks. The 4 car garage (2 spaces are designated with the rental), mudroom, unfinished basement space and yard are shared with the guest apartment above the garage. Other things to note Winter Park Town Mandates for ALL rentals: Quiet Hours are STRICTLY enforced and fines may be levied by both the neighborhood AND the town of Winter Park which will be passed through to violators. Please be aware our HOA and city are very strict and we have mandatory Quiet Hours, from 9pm - 8am. During these times, outdoor and hot tub use are restricted and audible noise coming from inside the home that can be heard outside is prohibited. No ongoing noise (including voices, music or other sounds) are permitted. A violation of Quiet Hours occurs when there is ongoing noise, not just a single outburst (e.g., a car door slamming) for a period in excess of 5 minutes and that can be heard by a person with normal hearing. We use Noiseaware technology both inside and outside the home and cameras outside the home and in the hot tub area to monitor. A noise violation will result in up to a $3000 fine and possible eviction. The town of Winter Park prohibits on-street parking during Quiet Hours and anytime between November 1st through May 1st. The city will tow cars and guests will be responsible for fines incurred. Trash may not be left out overnight due to wildlife concerns. Trash receptacles are available for trash disposal. Important to note: we do use Noise aware technology to monitor noise levels inside and outside the home. We also have exterior cameras around the property and in the hot tub area. We do require a signed rental agreement.
