Upon entering this quaint home away from home, you will discover a welcoming open floor plan that seamlessly combines the living room and dining area - ideal for entertaining! Spread out comfortably on the sofas and get ready for an entertaining evening at home - watch fun shows and movies on the TV, break out your favorite board games, or simply start planning your next adventures. When mealtime comes, prepare delicious homemade meals in the well-appointed kitchen. It's equipped with everything you could possibly need to channel your inner chef and surprise your guests with their favorite recipes. The kitchen also includes a workspace with a desk, a desk chair, and a printer. The dining area opens onto a screened porch where you all can lounge and relax. From here, you have easy access to the fully fenced backyard with a doggie door. Sleeping arrangements include one bedroom with a TV and an en suite bathroom on the main floor and two additional bedrooms upstairs. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. This Vacasa Guestworks vacation rental is operated and managed locally by an independent host. Prior to your arrival, you will receive local host contact information, who will manage your guest reservation. Your local host will provide in-stay support, secure entry, and arrange pre- and post-stay housekeeping services. This property is very nice and evokes the southern charm of a New Orleans-type home with beautiful crown molding, lovely paint colors, and generous room sizes. Really terrific kitchen with everything you need to cook, serve, even bake, and all the dishes, glassware, cups, silverware and small appliances. Even extras like coffee filters and coffee, storage containers for leftovers, garbage bags, dish detergent, and laundry detergent are supplied by the host. The master with a nice on-suite bath is on the main level with two more bedrooms on the second floor sharing a jack-n-jill bath. All have very comfortable king beds and the seating in the living room is all comfy recliners. Nice large TV with surround sound and a lot of DVD's to choose from. There are very clear instructions for heating/cooling, trash pickup, operational issues, etc. The screened-in patio is very nice for morning coffee or evening wine or cocktail hour. There is a Walmart just one street away and even a liquor store and beautiful gift shop. Local restaurants and activities from Bay St Louis to Gulfport are no more than 20 -25 minutes away. The only caution I have is the next-door neighbor has a rooster, and yes, it crows starting at 5 am every day. The home is pet friendly, also, which is good if you bring pets with you, but because it is there are remnants of pet odors detectable: just be aware. The interaction with Vacasa was great and this home is a great getaway option in this area.
