We enjoyed the pool, the Blue Pig, the convenient cafe, and the beach. Including makeup remover packets along with the usual shampoo, and body lotion, was a nice perk.
There were ants in our room. The shower did not work well. No shower caps nor mouthwash was provided. One of the elevators was out of order one day resulting in slow service.

There was nothing I didn’t love!

Overall atmosphere also the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very nice.

The room was small with one bed and a chair and desk.. The front desk was able to give us a more comfortable room with two queen beds. There was a free newspaper.
There could have been some discounts on their restaurant. There also could have been a keurig in the room. The parking was on the property but quite a walk.

Room and hotel grounds
Lock to the room. Always took a few attempts before getting in.

Lighting in bathroom should be much better for makeup prep.

Congress Hall is beautiful. Maintained perfectly, staff is all exceptional, from the front desk to the turn down service and the staff in the Blue Pig and Brown Room. The beds and pillows are so comfortable, we slept well. Everything was exceptional.
We ate dinner early, around 5 PM, in the Blue Pig. Later in the evening we were scrambling to find something additional to eat, finally heading to The Ugly Mug for appetizers at 11 PM, since Congress Hall doesn't offer room service and the restaurants were no longer serving. We even tried Uber Eats but they cancelled our order after 45 minutes, when we were already downstairs waiting for them to arrive. We noted this for our next visit and will warn friends who may stay to plan their evening meal better.

Very quaint hotel with old time charm, multiple fireplaces, room was excellent, nice gift shops, restaurant was very nice, staff were helpful, even had evening turn down service. Valet parking was nice when we checked out they had bags packed in our car ready to go.
Hotel is old so it does creak and walls/windows are thin but that is a minor complaint

location and history of the building.
nice restaurant and bar/lounge, good nightly entertainment
at times the music in dining room was terrible. I wanted to leave! just keep soft piano music, that’s good for everyone.

The room cost 1115.00 but from my window I had a view of air conditioning units. I would rate very high except that the room was terribly overpriced.
