Ended up in the same very small room wee had on last visit. 341

it was quiet
There was no shampoo or soap in the room. I consider that unacceptable for a room costing $185 per night.

Dinner meal was excellent
Had to be moved from first room because of problems with building door lock. The room we ended up in was tiiny compared to rooms we have had in the past. (next to the pool and noisy as well)

I wanted to come to the Inn to enjoy the area and the heated pool and sauna.

Friendly staff, historic lobby!
No hot tub!

What breakfast?
The staff was rude. The price was too much for what I received.
10.0
The room was comfortable and large. The pool and sauna were great.
The television was small and far away from the bed, so hard to watch. No channel guide so hard to pick a channel.
There was no non-alcohol beer at the pub. Inexcusable.
The stay was expensive and probably overpriced.

Location is good, very close to main street and only 10min drive to Sunday river.
the inn is dated, bedding terrible, however if they updated the bedding that would go a long way.
TV clickers didn't work well, needed maintenance to come in every night to help us with it, less than ideal.
Pool area smelly and needed to go to the front desk to get towels for the pool. If you do not stay in the main inn, it is not convenient to go to the front desk.

Front desk staff was extremely rude and checking in was very slow and backed up. Staff was not friendly or helpful.

Service was horrible. Felt like we were more work then guests.

It was a wonderful, quiet, friendly and relaxing getaway from living in an urban area.
I would not change a thing. Looking forward to returning.

Beautiful location.

Our room was on the first room in a corner so we had lots of windows. We also had our own little patio which I didn't expect.
The bed mattress sagged in the middle. There were TV's in the bedroom and living room area, but they had different remotes, and it was very hard to figure out how to change channels. When asked, the staff was not helpful. The gas fireplace was "weak in the knees" visually. There was no refrigerator - they are usually standard in even low price hotels. Meal prices in the restaurant were too high to even consider eating there. The high price for the room was not worth it. The alarm clock started blaring the loudest noise (radio?) ever, but we hadn't set it. Then an hour later, the actual alarm went off. It was also quite noisy inside - it sounded like a herd of elephants were living over us. There was no handicap accessibility whatsoever. Stairs only, and access to restaurant involved a very long walk including going outside.

Very relaxing stay right on the golf course. Although there are a lot of rooms they are so spread out that we never felt crowded.
They seemed to be having a staffing problem. The poor workers were pulling triple duty. The workers had a fantastic attitude and were apologetic for the delays due to the lack of staffing. I hope they are being well compensated for their hard work. I am hesitant to write this because this is an issue everywhere, it is just difficult to spend so much for a weekend getaway and consistently have to wait for services because the little bit of staff that is there is working in 3 different areas. We saw some staff working what had to be 12-15 hour days on their feet.
