The refrigerator freezer was filled with ice needed to unthraw to have room to put freezer items.

Location

The tub was filthy and we had to wash it room108. I prefer using a tub but it was only clean enough for a shower. The jets were almost black.

At the very least it kept me dry from the rain.

Close proximity to basic restaurants, a supermarket, and a Dunkin Donuts. Wifi was ok.

There needs to be a clear makeover and upgrade of the mattress if they’re planning to offer rooms at that price. Even for Connecticut, I’d expect these rooms to go for $65 at the most.

I would recommend staying here. Just make sure you request a new renovated room.

Newly renovated room. Right off highway. The room was very clean . Had a clean fresh scent. Smart tv was large and I could connect to my own account for streaming.

They are renting to long term residents. I don’t think all the rooms have been renovated yet. No shampoo or conditioner. No blow dryer

Easy to find

Staff was horrible and didn't accommodate anything. They falsify their pictures. Rooms not as pictured on website. For example- they advertise jacuzzi and whirlpool tubs.....which is what we booked and paid for. Half the motel.has none the other half isn't done yet. Long story short, when we got there. We asked why we didn't have a whirlpool tub with a queen bed because that is what we paid for.... And we were told oh I don't know. And she said she gave us a new room long story short, We did not get a new room, and the room was filled with bugs. Had by my own raid at 3 in the morning.

What to expect when staying at the budget inn !

It was very pleasant, and really clean and I had a very nice stay, and I was really surprised when I seen the little kitchen in the room which was very great to see for the price of the room, and the shower was plenty big enough for two people which was very awesome to see at a small motel style of a set-up and there was plenty of parking spaces for a few big vehicles! The bed's are very comfortable and the pillows are very soft as well!

Not a big variety of chanel's on tv ! Unless you purchase them for the night! Otherwise I am very happy with the place !

location to family. fridge. microwave.

room had a smell that was unidentifiable and unpleasant. room was old. sheets/comforter had stains. bathroom was so worn it looked dirty and uninviting; we didn’t shower before we left. $123/night was too much to pay. it needed a lot of work, but wall-mounted air fresheners, paint and new grout—at the very least—would have helped.

Budget Inn

I liked that it was quiet, located close to the family we went to visit, the office staff were great and helpful, the AC worked great, and they provided a fridge and microwave in the room.

I didn't like how the bathroom window had no curtain over it. There was a stove/oven in the room that we were told we couldn't use. There was nowhere to hang up our clothes or dresser to put our stuff in.

it was a very nice room with a lot of space. the jetted bathtub was also an unexpected surprise.

Would not recommend to anyone.

The room was gross Smelled musty and was dingy. Everything was old and tattered. Stains on the floor and it hadn't been swept. There was no fitted sheet on the bed and the bed linens hung down piled on floor. We did not stay in the hotel. Turned key in and left, less than 30 minutes after check in. We did not feel comfortable staying in that room.

bathroom was clean. I'm not picky. Just need a place to sleep that is quiet.

Every single smoke detector in the complex was chirping (low on batteries) . the one in my room would chirp extremely loudly every couple minutes, then I would hear chirps in the next room and the room next to that. They told ME to remove the smoke detector from the ceiling....I removed it and left it outside as far from me as possible. Room was clean, but I had driven 16 hours and arrived exhausted. It is not a guests job to remove smoke detectors. On top of the underlying safety issue related to it. Literally all i ask for is a clean, quiet place to sleep. for over $100 i'm just done with hotels for a while. I don't normally leave reviews, but i'm just so tired of the ridiculousness at these places. So I had to listen to the other rooms near me chirping all night.

The place is a dump they gave us a later checkout till 1130 and then knocked at 1102 and walked in on us when we were both naked I yelled before and they still opened the door and tried to come in this place is a dump the rooms smell and the staff is rude. It’s horrible

Sucked! Never again! Stains on the blankets. Blankets were sheet thin. Just awful!

The only thing I liked was the water pressure in the shower

The air conditioner was in the bathroom. It was very humid when we stayed. It stopped pumping cold air around 10pm. I called. They would not come look at it. We had to sleep uncomfortable all night because of this. Guy had me on the phone for about an hour making me try to explain what was going on. He kept saying it was a brand new ac, but was discolored yellow! He kept asking me what the screen on the ac said as far as temp. There was no screen. Just knobs. You own a motel and there is a problem with a guest, I don't care what time it is...you come fix it!
