Views are fantastic and in our opinion the best on the island. Pool is a great size! Kitchen is well equipped. Couldn't of asked for anymore, far superior to anything else it's price range. Would highly recommend!!
Absolutely nothing!

very nice view with pool
if the pool is heated that would be the perfect.

The tranquility and the view of the Caldera from the rear garden: truly beautiful. However; our experience was greatly enhanced by Mrs Maria who was on hand from our arrival to the end of our stay - she was very professional in her dealings and extremely helpful! She's an absolute asset to Ananda Retreat.
The location of the resort is remote: the nearest shop, grocer's and restaurant is a car ride away and unfortunately we hadn't realised and hadn't hired a rental vehicle. Taxis had been affordable in the town centre unfortunately, the taxi recommended and subsequently used was prohibitively expensive.

views are amazing from kitchen, lounge and bedrooms, really great. Main bedroom very comfortable but very little storage space for clothes even for one person, no storage space in the upstairs bedroom. It would be a good idea to trim the hedges and shrubs in front of the swimming pool to fully appreciate the views and perhaps use the hedges as a partition / fence to afford some privacy between villa M and villa T. I would strongly recommend a car as well. Staff lovely, very helpful and always available, the property and views are superb and you certainly won’t be disappointed. Kitchen stuff is limited to about 4 of everything so if you’re staying using the villa more then going out you’ll need to wash as you go.
no privacy between villa M and villa T, also the views are a little bit spoilt by the hedge height from the pool level / sun lounge level towards the sea, cut them down it makes no sense, use to provide more privacy between the villas instead. A bit more storage space for clothes main bedroom and upstairs. Location for us was perfect as we had a car but otherwise you’ll struggle to get around. Could have done with a bigger parasol or even a couple of parasol’s to protect from the sun, there were only 3 of us and getting some shade having just the one parasol was challenging.

amazing view and perfect position for sunset from the private terrace.
very quiet as quiet isolated in vineyards
non-heated pool so a bit cold when you visit outside of the peak season (november)

The location, the pool, the nearby village, the quietness. The villa was clean and airy with a stunning view. It's entered via a winery and there are vines on one side and at the front. The nearby village and a nice bakery /coffee shop was a short walk away but on a busy main road with not much of a pavement! The pool is cleaned every day.
Arrive either having shopped or able to go shopping. All that's in the fridge is two bottles of water. There's coffee too. For the price I would have expected more ie milk, perhaps beer, cheese? The kitchen is fine but not for anyone planning on lots of cooking. For four people there were three outdoor chairs. Four sunbeds (great), one parasol.
The most annoying thing was the green emergency light in the bedroom which cast an eerie glow at night and meant the room never got dark! I had to wear an eye mask. Perhaps the owner has never slept there! Also make sure you get directions if driving - it's not signposted and the entrance is through a winery which is confusing at first.

Excelent location, great option for kids.

The view is incredible. I personally think it’s better than the view in Fira and Oia. It is absolutely incredible. Walking to grocery store and restaurant is not as bad as other reviewers said. There were blinds also. The pool lights up at night. Cleaners were nice.
Really should rent a car if staying here. The only negative is the transfer service. There needs to be a cheaper way to get to and from the hotel. It is literally just above the port. They drive you up a road for 5 minutes and charge same amount as going to OIA. Not really hotel issue but it’s obvious they work together. With the hotel being remote would be nice for them to tell you how to use bus to get up from port.

The house is beautiful and spacious. The view is a dream come true.
Super clean and comfy.
The location is nice, a bit apart from busy areas ( which we liked ). A car is needed.
Would definitely re visit
The pool is a bit cold but with the warm weather is perfect.

The view was incredible. It was really quiet and everything was clean. The perfect Location for an amazing sundowner.
Silviya took care of us- everytine. It was an easy communication via WhatsApp. When we needed a car, she arranged everything and the next morning the car was in front of our apartment. She arranged the Transport from the Airport to the Apartment and back to the port. Everything was really comfortable and Silviya was so nice and really helpful for us.
It was a perfect stay for us.
You need a car/ take a taxi to the Supermarket, you can't walk from the apartment very Well.

The view is absolutely gorgeous, we couldn't get enough of it. The sunset is heavenly. Everything is very clean. Tastefully decorated. We liked all the details. The villa had a very nice scent. Located next to a winery in the middle of a vineyard. The bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning is powerful. Each room has it's own air conditioning. Silviya was very nice and helpful. All in all it was a wonderful staying at Ananda Retreat.
In our 3 days there was no hot water at all. There was no kitchen cloth. The neighbours are really close indeed. It would be nice if there were bushes or plants to provide some privacy. There is no protection from the sun neither the terrace nor by the pool. We had nearly an our till check out, my wife was by the pool yet, the swimming pool cleaner hu arrived and started to clean the pool 2 meters away from us so we couldn't use the pool or benefit from the last hour of our holiday.
