Everything about this place is fabulous! The hosts are incredibly friendly and nice. I loved my room, especially the bed, which was very comfortable! A great location with beautiful views. Highly recommend. I will definitely be back!

Everything! Room spacious and bed very comfortable. Good shower. Breakfast was fantastic!! Excellent location.

An Portán is a little hidden gem in Dunquin, rooms are self contained, very comfortable and spotless. Hosts are absolutely fabulous and can’t do enough for guests and Ronans breakfast’s are to die for 😊

We really enjoyed our stay which was made all the more enjoyable by the hospitality we received.

Gem of a place to stay and eat

Quiet, spacious, clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and excellent food, both the evening meal and breakfast.

Hard to find fault, but some refresh of the decor of the room/shower would spruce it up.

I spent a beautiful 4 days here, visiting the nearby Blasket Island Center and Great Blasket Island.

Location was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. Room was spacious and comfortable.

I was disappointed that the restaurant was not open for dinner, but was told that was because they had staffing issues. There's a pub right across the road, though, for food.

quiet and spacious accomodation

We were warmly welcomed by the host! The rooms were all located farther back on the property which made it a nice quiet stay. The rooms were very large, tidy, clean and had their own bathroom which is always nice. The breakfast was delicious the next morning as well with hot breakfast options as well as continental! We loved how easily walkable it was to the pub for dinner and enjoyed getting to talk with the lovely host.

Excellent stay in an excellent place

Very nice setting of 3 buildings; main building with reception and breakfast room. middle building with games/TV/lounge area; residential building with attached rooms and green space in the middle. Very nicely done in a beautiful setting. Lovely staff and great welcome. Excellent breakfast!

Breakfast starts at 8:00 only. That's pretty normal, but we would have liked a bit earlier.

Great stay if you want away from hussle bussle and want peace and quiet.

Breakfast was perfect freshly cooked to order, however I thought I had booked a guest house in Dingle, and it was 22 kilometres away but in a beautiful location with a good pub that served meals just a few minutes walk away, so all was good in the end as the room was lovely.

Pleasant

The staff were excellent, very friendly and happy to help. The location was perfect for us walking the Dingle Way.

Unfortunately the food was a big let down. The dinner was very basic for the price. The breakfast we were served salmon that had gone off.

Perfect Stay on the Dingle Way!

It was so beautiful and Gerlinde was so so nice!! The food, the room, the location, the service - everything was just great. I can highly recommend this place!
