"Caprice" is an elegant choice for discerning travelers visiting Nassau. A private gated subdivision, comprised of only 15 individual Town Villas, you will enjoy the privacy of your own pool and patio area in the rear of the home. Enjoy private sunbathing and intimate dining while overlooking your private ocean view. A private staircase from our pool area allows for you to have easy access to a direct platform to the ocean. This is great for snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, floating and just a few steps away from your own pool area. There is no need to cross a busy street to enjoy a day at the beach..just few steps away inside the community ( approximately 150 feet) is a sandy white private beach area for your enjoyment. If you are looking for a change of beach side scenery during your stay, you can access the larger public beach that is a picturesque 2 minute walk from our gated community. For your dining and social needs, there is a shopping development directly across the street. Filled with sports bars, grocery shopping, a liquor store, fitness center and fast food or fancy restaurants, you will have all the modern day conveniences directly across from your front door. Overall you will find that Caprice is an elegant residence with turquoise blue ocean views and convenience for your stay in Nassau. Stop dreaming and start living- your vacation paradise home awaits! The villa comes only with 5 Bedrooms if you book for less than 12 guests. The attached Studio (Bedroom 6 is only available for bookings of 12 guests or more). The property is not well taken care of. Lots of broken chairs, light switches that do not work. We found a few cockroaches in the kitchen. The dryer was broken. The water pressure throughout the entire place was iffy. The house has great bones and a wonderful view. It’s a great location and could be a cool spot if they took care of it. It looks as if they haven’t invested money into the property in years. One of the closests upstairs had black mold in it causing a very musty smell. A few of the bedrooms had recurring water on the floor and outlets that did not work. I would NOT stay here again.

The Good. The place has a wonderful view of the water from most rooms in the house.
The Bad. The owner of this unit has misrepresented its appearance in the photographs online. They do not show you the front of the townhouse because it looks completely run down. The upstairs porch is in very bad condition and looks like it could collapse at any point. I would not go onto that porch. The outdoor seating is old and the outdoor bed is not safe as it is falling in and needs maintenance. The oven fan in the kitchen ran continuously and was noisy. The entire place needs a paint job. In addition, the area outside where you are supposed to take the trash, is disgusting and filthy. It is hidden behind a rundown shed so it’s not immediately visible.
The Ugly. The place is overrun by roaches. We probably killed between 10 – 15 roaches on any given day. I believe the roach problem is two-fold. First, the unit needs a thorough cleaning. Second, there is a water infiltration problem that is causing a mold/roach problem. After the first night, we could not sleep in the MB because the smell of mold was so strong. When we complained to Alicia, she acted like she could not smell it at first, attempting to gaslight us. On day two after it rained, it began to rain inside the master closet. Also, the floor in MB was rotting. These are just a few problems. They've promised to compensate us but we have not seen a penny yet. DO NOT RENT THIS UNIT! Check negative reviews on Baha Rentals!

It was really deceiving mostly because of the lack of maintenance and the communication with the host (Alicia). We ask for the key of the safe multiple times and she never got us anything. One night during a storm, the ceiling was leaking and the floor was all wet. I told her and she said she would send someone over… but no. The view from the villa is amazing and we had a good time.

Some electrical issues in the kitchen with appliances. No cleaning supplies or trash bags but otherwise an amazing location. Walking distance, private beach is great, snorkeling off the back of the house. Would definitely go back and recommend.

We only stayed one night so we weren’t able to really enjoy a true stay, however the home fulfilled our needs. It was perfectly located near a grocery store, liquor store and restaurants….within walking distance. The water/snorkeling access wasn’t accessible whatsoever being to how high and rough the water was. We were there end of Jan. I’d imagine the water is much calmer in other months to allow swimming. Looked pretty rocky tho so the water would have to be very calm to do any ocean activities from this spot.
We had an issue with the electricity/lights upstairs. Likely from high winds which blew a fuse. I contacted management, who quickly responded, and told me how to find the breaker. No problem. Except….the breaker box area was very sketchy. Lots of exposed wires. You can’t actually reach it as it’s located behind a built in bed. I was told to use a butter knife to reach and flip the switch. Very nervous about being electrocuted in that moment, but I flipped it and the lights worked perfect after that.
The place could use some updating but overall it was nice and what we were looking for insofar as a spot to stay with a larger group for one night. Pretty views, pool, plenty of space. The master bed was super comfy. Hot water. It was great.
Management was very accommodating in letting us keep our luggage and groceries downstairs until our shuttles arrived the next day. That was a huge help.

Beautiful spot. The views were amazing. The private beach was a few steps away and we had fun snorkeling there. The house was comfortable for 7 adults and 5 kids. Close walk to grocery and liquor store. Fabulous vacay. A beautiful country with warm friendly people.

Home needed updating. There was a major emphasis on security which makes you question the neighborhood but did not have any issues. Restaurants and stores were within walking distances. The company that manages the property does not itemize billing well. Not sure why I did not get a full refund on my security deposit.

I love this place it’s clean and quiet and you have your privacy.. and the best thing is the private beach, it’s Clean and all you need is a one minute walk … and the manager Alicia so nice and kind.

Staying on the island for the first time, we were not sure what to expect. The views were amazing! The check in process was easy. The house was as listed. There were a few small issues that were addressed immediately. We could see us staying there again and would recommend it.

The location is great and beautiful. The check in process was a disaster. The house needs updating and to be cleaned. Many broken items. Stove, dishwasher, toilet. There are zero cleaning products.
The pool is cold so no one swam in it which is why I rented the house. Beautiful view though.

This property was everything we could’ve asked for except it WAS NOT beach accessible from the property (but only a 5min walk). The property itself was nice, clean and a spacious for our party of 7. The location was perfect and close to everything from shops, restaurants and the beach. Crossing the streets were fun adventures for our group. The property manager Alicia was very attentive to all our needs and whenever we contacted her she was very quick to respond. James was our driver through the property and he took us to local night life and never left our side which was very comforting. Overall the condition of the house was good, updates could be made but we didn’t have any issues. Waking up to the crashing waves and beautiful Bahamian skies in this property was all we could’ve ask for and we definitely got it! Thanks again to Alicia & James!!! We will definitely visit again.

Alicia and office promised a inconvenience credit of $500.00 which never was paid.Van driver, James, is great but the office controls hIm and we waited over an hour, delaying our cruise. Floors in upper bedroom have holes, toilets run all the time. Ariana is great. Overall a very poorly run property with major issues!

The hostess Bianca and Angus were very nice and attentive. Bahamas Vacation Club in general were very good in keeping track with our needs and help us with our plans.
The house in general was nice. But needed to be more stocked up especially in the kitchen. The majority of the cabinets were empty. Beautiful views and centric location. House and pool were clean. The Marina village was within 7 minutes walk with few restaurants but very good food and comfortable portions.
The grocery store has everything including many vegan options. The Bahamian people were very friendly, kind and willing to accommodate you.. Public transportation bus #10 took us to Goodman’s park were the biggest public beach is. The park was clean and safe. Bring cash for snacks they don’t take cards. To rent a beach bed for the day was $15. Bus fair was $1.25/person. All around a great experience. Will definitely consider coming back to Bahamas Vacation Club Caprice rental.

Very dissappointed with this property and company. House in need of obvious repairs and upgrades. Contact with the host was terrible. She was unable to help and another employee had to step in and try to fix things.

After a long year of Covid, our family enjoyed an amazing 10 day stay at Caprice #7 in May 2021. Our first contact with the property managers, Hermann and Michele, was actually about 2 years ago when we first visited Caprice #7. They welcomed us like we were family.
From the beginning, the property managers have been extremely responsive, and personally interested in making sure we had all the information we needed to have a wonderful vacation. During check-in, one of the other managers, Bianca, carefully reviewed an extensive "welcome packet" with valuable information about nearby restaurants, and attractions for us to consider during our stay.
The house, itself, is gorgeous and beautifully decorated to include artwork done by Michele. Waking up every morning with the panoramic view of the ocean was just what our family needed to decompress and reconnect after a year of Zoom holidays. The house is PERFECTLY located in a gated community , with it's own private pool and private beach which was perfect for snorkeling.
The house is within walking distance of a number of terrific restaurants; the Blue Sail, the Twisted Lime and Spritz. In addition, it's only 5 minutes from the grocery store and Marco, a great pizza place.
We will absolutely be returning to stay at Caprice #7... the property managers personal approach and the perfect location of the house make it hard to imagine why we'd need to look anywhere else.
You will be glad you stayed in this gorgeous home... our family certainly is.

The property needs to be updated. The outdoor areas were disappointing. The patio furniture is in disrepair. Tears in the cushions - honestly we did not want to sit on any of the outdoor furniture.
The space was large - made this nice for our group. The view is amazing - right on the ocean. No beach access from the house, but the beach 2 minutes away was very nice.
The location was convenient for us, but quite a drive to downtown.

Loved it!
Michelle, Hermann and Bianca were fantastic to work with. They arranged transportation, babysitting and anything else we needed. The driver was so warm and welcoming. The property is located in a spot where you can walk to grocery, and other stores. A public beach on top of your private beach within a short walk. We highly recommend.

Excellent Nassau Beach House with Excellent View and Private Beach
Although we had a few minor issues which are very common to all properties in Nassau, the owners/property managers Michelle/Hermann/Bianca were amazing in there response time in taking care of these issues. Overall, this was a great beach house to comfortably accomadate 10-12 people and the views and private beach access near by as well as the direct access into ocean from pool was amazing

I would recommend this home to EVERYONE
The property managers Michelle and Herman were amazing to work with. They are amazing people. The home was incredible!! It was clean and a ton of room even with 12 people. Herman even built a handicap ramp for one of our friends. The pool was great. The view was unforgettable. Everything was so conveniently located. The food was great, and the people on the island were so nice. I would say that this was one of the best vacations EVER. Thank you Michelle and Herman you are great. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone that wants a great vacation in the Bahamas.

Spacious oceanfront home
Lots of bedrooms with plenty of comfortable beds. Walking distance to shopping, grocery and delicious restaurants. Beautiful view of the ocean and large sunning or shaded areas on the pool deck.
The owners were very responsive before and during our stay-extremely helpful.

By far the best experience we have ever had with VRBO. The property and view were simply gorgeous!
Everything from the moment we landed until we were dropped back off at the airport was simply amazing. We have booked thru VRBO many times and our Hosts on this trip went above and beyond to make sure no question went unanswered. Our next trip to the Bahamas will no doubt be booked thru the same host! If you are considering a trip to Nassau, look no further! YOU HAVE FOUND IT!!

Wonderful stay for a group and the best property manager
Overall, we had the best time staying at this listing in Caprice. Michelle was extremely responsive the entire weekend and very helpful getting us cabs whenever we needed them. The house has a great layout for a group, and I would absolutely recommend staying here!
