-Très éloigné de la ville -accueil quasi militaire -électricité fournie par générateur situé contre le mur de la chambre donc très très bruyant - paiement complet pris sur compte bancaire donc taxes supplémentaires…

Fabulous experience

Beautiful gardens and the restaurant is simple yet satisfying, with tasty food at a great price. The whole place made me feel like I was living in a 1950s movie.

The forest wardens will chase after you and tell you off if you wander into the reserve without permission. I walked all the way to Parsons Valley Dam without getting eaten by a tiger, but five separate wardens scolded me. Another one just talked to me about cricket, he was my favourite.

Beautiful heritage hotel

Beautiful location within the grounds of the large horticultural gardens in Ooty. The hotel channels heritage vibes with a feeling you've stepped back in time, loads of character, the deluxe room was huge with tasteful furniture and great views. The staff maintain the facilities well and were always helpful. The simple restaurant serves up delicious food throughout the day, offering good value and the team serving were always friendly.

I like the property and will recommend others also to be there.

Breakfast was superb. We stayed for two nights and the staff was very responsive and courteous. The reception staff was quite cooperative. The lawns are fantastic and one should not miss.

The tiles of the bathroom should be anti-skid type. Moreover, there should be a wardrobe in the room for proper upkeep of the room.

It was excellent, beyond expectation.

The property is amazing, with a lot of greenery on campus, which is about 50 acres, including a tea state, hanging garden, a full-fledged park. The food is good and it is not at all expensive. The rooms are very clean and staff is very supportive, I was specially attended by Mr. Siddu and Mr. Rahul, and was guided well whenever needed. They were able to arrange for auto for short distance travels (like for market or bus stand, etc.)

Some of the walls appeared to be wet, they might need some repair of renovation.

Very well maintained and clean property

Very well maintained and clean property for the price. It’s owned by Karnataka state tourism board and staff are all friendly and efficient. Restaurant is also good . It’s situated in same property as horticulture farm

Superb

Excellent location. Biggest plus is that the property is a part of the Siri horticulture garden, and access to garden is complementary for the guests. It's a huge garden built on a hill and it takes a while to explore it all. Staff is very nice and friendly. Restaurant food is good.

Standard rooms seem to be old construction but not a very big issue.
