Situated in Hurghada, this attractive villa for $178 per night is a great choice for your next break. The Nubian style Villa Y 34 is in a very quiet area of West Golf 2 in El Gouna (20 minutes north of Hurghada airport). The villa, with vaulted and domed ceilings, offers 4 to 6 persons the opportunity to relax and rest in a peaceful atmosphere. Admire the lagoon view during the day and experience romantic nights by the pool under the unique starry sky and palm trees. Feel at home. It has 3 bedrooms and accommodates up to six - perfect for families and groups. It is air conditioned, with 3 bathrooms, 5 sun terraces and a lagoon beach. Top floor bedroom (double bed): traditional Egyptian dome ceiling, private bathroom (toilet, shower enclosure), private terrace, with a splendid view of the swimming pool and lagoon. There are another two separate terraces on the top floor, one facing the lagoon, one facing the garden. Master bedroom (double bed) on the ground floor with traditional Egyptian dome ceiling, own bathroom (toilet, bath), private terrace. Double bed. Second bedroom (two single beds) on the ground floor with private bathroom (toilet and washing machine), private terrace. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, air-conditioning, bedside cabinets, dressing tables (including a mirror) and direct access to the swimming pool area with a splendid view of the lagoon. The dining room seats 6 people in comfort. Kitchen if fully equipped with kettle, toaster, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, oven and dishwasher. Lounge is equipped with lcd TV, cd-dvd player, el gouna satellite. 1 coffee table, big sofas, 2 armchair, 1 table. In front of the villa a private car parking space is available. Plants/shrubbery spread around the villa including palm trees. There are 6 cushioned sun-beds, a shaded pergola, parasols and a built-in barbeque poolside. The resort offers Red Sea diving, world class kite-surfing, a PGA golf course and virtually guaranteed year round sunshine! El Gouna marinas and downtown provide a wide variety of bars, restaurants and shopping and are easily accessible. Cultural trips to Luxor, The Nile, Cairo are easily arranged. A host of other activities are possible from desert quad-biking to night clubbing in Hurghada, or just a leisurely boat trip around El Gouna's lagoons.

Very nice house in El Gouna, beautiful pool. well equipped house. Everything is available nearby (restaurants, shops, ...), a means of transport is however essential. Security procedures at the various gates sometimes a bit restrictive. However, this is not the ideal place to snorkling.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa, the pool was fantastic and all the different places to sit were great. The villa was in a really quiet location with a lovely lagoon and a nice views. The inside of the villa was homely and had a well equipped kitchen, but is in need of a little tlc. It’s not too far to walk into El Gouna, where there’s plenty of restaurants. We would definitely stay here again, hopefully next year.

Die Villa ist Traumhaft schön gelegen ,direkt an der Lagune . Sie ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet . Der große Pool lud täglich zum Schwimmen ein . Der Verwalter der Villa ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit wenn Fragen oder Wünsche auftauchen . Ich bin mit meinen beiden erwachsen Töchtern dort gewesen und würde diese Villa jederzeit wieder buchen .

Sehr schöne Villa, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das ist Ägyptenstyle. Etwas abgelegen in El Guna, aber dafür hat man auch seine Ruhe. Für 20 Pfund, ca 1€ wird man abgeholt und zu den Restaurants oder Supermarkt gefahren. Zurück das selbe. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder, kann ich empfehlen.

Perfect family vacation!! The villa is well equipped in a wonderful spot, very relaxing and private location over the lagoon.. the owner is really helpful and nice. I woudnt hesitate to do it again. Definetly its Worth the money. Very clean place too

The villa sits in the West Golf area, which is pleasant and along an artificial lagoon. There is nothing there so you need to get a toc toc if you want shops, restaurants, bars etc - these are Egypt£10 (approx GB£1) per person per journey anywhere in El Gouna so an easy option. The Villa itself is nice but needs some tlc and in particular, proper cleaning, which is annoying after being hit with a hidden Euro50 cleaning charge, apparently hidden in the T&C's but not mentioned in the main booking - in Egypt that is well in excess of 10 hours of cleaners wages and the cleaners didn't come at all during the week, so it is basically a hidden admin fee. The bath was grubby, there were food deposits around the kitchen in the corners, the patio around the pool was covered in a layer of dry mud, the bbq grills were left covered in food and the stonework was damaged, the outside sink leaked, the cooker hob and cooker extractor were grubby, one of the sheets was stained. It is a shame, as a little work and a good clean could return this villa to its former luxurious self. On the plus side, the kitchen is extremely well equipped, the pool is a good size and was cleaned thoroughly on our first morning, the patio area is pleasant to sit in and has trees and shade, the vaulted ceilings are nice to look at and the upstairs patio provides a secure place to dry your dive kit. El Gouna is a pleasant artificial town with two lovely marinas and is a good base option for diving, away from the hassle of Hurghada. Snorkelling in El Gouna is not the best though - you have to pay to get on the beach and the vis was poor, although the variety of fish was good - it was better South of Hurghada where we stayed last year. Overall we enjoyed our stay and I'd recommend the West Golf Villas. Hopefully the owners will do some basic refurb and insist on better cleaning from the management company going forwards.

We had an amazing family holiday, we are already owners in El Gouna ourselves but when giving up our property to family to stay in this villa was the perfect choice for us with two children. We are booking again for 2017.
