Situated in Cagliari, this lovely condo for $101 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. The flat is a penthouse, and is located in a small building from the early 1900s, finely renovated, very nice, very bright and very well equipped! All our accessories, including the furniture are new.'It consists of a double bedroom, an entrance hall, with a sofa bed for 2 people, a kitchenette, and a bathroom. It sleeps 4, plus an extra bed, and/or a baby bed. Our mattresses are Memory, and anti-allergic, for a good rest. In the beautiful terrace, you can 'have breakfast, or sip a coffee', and dine in the evening, enjoying a good glass of wine, with a very impressive view, on the walls of the old castle, with the two towers of Pisa, the Elephant, and that of San Pancrazio, the domes of churches, the old rooftops of the district of Stampace and the sea that is the frame! Being in the centre of the city, all services are within 5/10 minutes walking distance. Such as the central train and bus stations, the beautiful monuments, the cathedral, the Botanical Garden, one of the most beautiful in Europe, the various seats of the University, the Archaeological Museum, which with its exhibits, tells the most ancient history of Sardinia, the shopping streets, pizzerias, ice cream parlours and restaurants, and much more with the Cagliari nightlife, are just a few steps from home. This was a great little flat with fine views over the town and harbour. Anna was very keen to meet and talk which was slightly difficult as our Italian is limited, nevertheless with the help of google we managed it. The flat is only really suitable for two people and the stairs would be tricky for anyone not too fit. Taxis refused to come to the exact destination as the road is so narrow so a bit of walking with bags was necessary.
We enjoyed the whole experience...a bit different in a city centre location. Some great restaurants all within walking ditance.

The Terrace was beautiful in the apartment, fabulous views of the city and sea. Lots of steps which in the heat was not easy.

Wunderschöne Stadt und eine herzliche Gastgeberin
Anna hat uns sehr herzlich begrüßt und uns gleich leckeren Espresso angeboten. Sie hat uns gleich ein paar Tipps gegeben fürdie Stadt. In der Wohnung hatte sie schon Wein, Wasser, Säfte und nicht zu vergessen typische sardisches Gebäck bereitgestellt. Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön!! Wir haben es sehr genossen auf der Dachterrasse morgens und abends zu sitzen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

The lovely balcony is the best thing about this charming apartment
The balcony in this apartment is just lovely. The view and the size made for a super comfortable stay during the spring when it was not too cold or too hot. Of note, the shower is very tiny and when you have the fold out couch open it is very very tight to squeeze past. Anna was a warm, thoughtful host who communicated promptly by WhatsApp (responding in Italian to my English texts) and the only hiccup was when she mentioned a separate charge for electricity which I did not see mentioned on the VRBO listing. We ended up not having to pay anything extra fees and after clearing up that confusion we would love to stay here again on our next trip to Cagliari.

wunderschöner Aufenthalt in Cagliari
Die Wohnung von Anna liegt optimal in der Altstadt von Cagliari. Glücklicherweise kann man das Auto vor dem Haus parken. Anna hat uns sehr herzlich mit Getränken und sardischen Keksen so wie Obst empfangen und es gab erst einmal eine kurze Verschnaufpause in ihrem Wohnzimmer. Wir hatten das schöne Gefühl, nicht zu einer anonymen Gastgeberin sondern zu einer Freundin zu kommen. Die Ferienwohnung ist toll, blitzsauber, gemütlich, geschmackvoll, es ist alles vorhanden was für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt sorgen kann. Einschließlich, und das ist nicht selbstverständlich, kalte Getränke im Kühlschrank inkl Wein, Kaffee, frisches Obst, sardisches Gebäck... vielen Dank, Anna, das hat uns gut getan. Die Matratze im großen Bett ist super! Der Blick von der großen Terrasse über den Dächern von Cagliari zum Hafen und zum Castello-Viertel ist unglaublich schön. Leider waren 2 Nächte fast zu kurz für diese schöne Unterkunft... vor der Abreise gab es nochmals Kaffee und Biscotti von Anna, niemand macht sich von hier aus hungrig auf die Reise. Vielen vielen Dank für die wunderbare Gastfreundschaft, liebe Anna. Wenn wir dürfen, kommen wir gerne wieder...

Très bon séjour à Cagliari !
Anna est particulièrement accueillante. Lors de notre arrivée nous sommes passés par son logement (juste dans l’appartement en dessous de la location) et nous a offert un verre de jus et des petits gâteaux.
Dans la location des gâteaux typiques, une panière de fruit, et des jus, bière et eau étaient à notre disposition. Aussi, Anna nous a offert un petit souvenir de Cagliari !
La vue de la terrasse est très sympa ! Le logement est propre avec tout le nécessaire. Néanmoins il est légèrement étroit si vous venez bien chargé. De plus il se trouve au troisième étage sans ascenseur.

Appartement idéal pour visiter Cagliari
Séjour d’une semaine dans l’appartement d’Anna, tout s’est très bien passé. Idéalement situé dans la vieille ville pour visiter Cagliari. Quartier animé à 3min à pieds. La terrasse est un réel atout avec une magnifique vue. Literie très confortable, appartement très propre avec toutes les commodités. Anna est une hôte exceptionnelle, d’une incroyable gentillesse et d’une grande générosité. Les échanges ont été très agréables et un vrai plus dans notre découverte de la Sardaigne. Anna est très réactive et très à l’écoute.
Nous en garderons un très bon souvenir et espérons pouvoir revenir…pour un cours de danse sarde 😉

Piacevolissimo soggiorno da Anna
Io e la mia ragazza siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti della settimana passata nel soggiorno di Anna.
Appena arrivati la proprietaria di casa ci ha accolti con un caffè e dei dolci tipici sardi ed è stata da subito molto disponibile ad indicarci diversi posti da vedere.
L’appartamento si trova in pieno centro storico, risulta molto accogliente e grazioso ed ha come punto di forza un bellissimo terrazzino spazioso nel quale si possono fare colazioni, pranzi e cene ammirando la città e il mare.
In casa Anna ci ha fatto trovare due bottiglie di vino e altri dolci tipici e alla partenza è stata nuovamente gentilissima offrendoci il caffè e lasciandoci un pensierino-ricordo di questa serena e bellissima vacanza a Cagliari che è tutta da vedere.
Nel complesso consiglio l’appartamento a chiunque e se dovessi tornare non esiterei a chiedere disponibilità di nuovo qui. Un grazie ad Anna

A wonderful cultural travel experience.
The property is very clean and near all of the best shopping in the city. Anna is such a gracious host and thanks to our iphones we were were running our translators hot and learned so much about the culture and the Sardinian's passion for their heritage. The Sardinian countryside is pristeen, the coastline amazing. Barumini, Nora and the coastal road to Villasimius all a short drive away. The city is hilly so bring some good shoes and be prepared for exercise. Thanks to Anna we will never forget our lovely visit here.

Sonniger Winter in Cagliari
Eine schöne Wohnung, ideal für zwei oder drei Personen mit einer tollen Terrasse/Balkon mitten in Cagliari. Frühstück draußen im Winter? Auf dieser Terrasse kein Problem :) Von hier aus kann man entspannt die Stadt erkunden, auch sehr gut ohne Auto. Mit Anna bekommt man eine sehr herzliche und liebe Gastgeberin, die einen bestens versorgt und auch noch gute Tipps für einen hat, wo es echtes sardisches Essen gibt. Home Away from Home!
From the first moment of communication with Anna our experience could not have been better. Firstly, once contact is made with Anna, you will feel welcomed in to her home. She is informative, enthusiastic and generous with her advice, time and caring nature. Secondly, the apartment itself is located in what I believe to be the most beautiful and authentic neighbourhood in the city, Stampace. The views from the apartment will leave you in awe as you take in a 360 degree birds eye view of history. Lastly, the city itself is a maze of stories, stairs and energy. We walked and walked. Anna's home is very central. Sites, shopping and the transit bus are all accesable by foot. Keep in mind that the apartment itself is only acceptable by a few flights of stairs so may not be appropriate for visitors with mobility issues. We loved everything about our stay in Cagliari and our stay at Anna's home was a dream come true. Thanks Anna for making our stay in Cagliari a memorable experience. Until next time.

Altstadtwohnung mit Herz
Im obersten Stockwerk eines Altstadtgebäudes gelegene Ferienwohnung mit einer sehr schönen Dachterrasse, auf der wir jede freie Minute verbracht haben. Der Blick über Stadt bis zum Meer und die Atmosphäre voller Leben waren unvergleichlich. Lage wenige Schritte vom Nachtleben entfernt, ideal zur Erkundung der Stadt und ihrer Sehenswürdigkeiten auch zu Fuß. Hervorzuheben ist die Gastgeberin, die uns mit einer außergewöhnlichen Freundlichkeit und Wärme empfangen hat, mit sardischen Süßigkeiten, Wein und Likör versorgt und uns auch einen prall gefüllten Obstkorb in die Wohnung gestellt hat. Die Räume sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, gut ausgestattet und alles sauber. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.
Ein Hinweis sei für Gäste erlaubt, die mit eigenem oder Mietfahrzeug anreisen: geparkt wird auf der Straße vor dem Haus, wir haben fast immer einen freien Parkplatz gefunden. Geht - wie in einer italienischen Großstadt zu erwarten - etwas eng zu, mit einem kleineren Fahrzeug aber kein Problem.

Lovely apartment with rooftop terrace
We enjoyed our week in Anna's rooftop apartment in Stampace. Anna was a wonderful host, greeting us with a cool drink & pastries on the day we arrived! We were able to eat out on the balcony most days & enjoyed the views down to the sea & up to the battlements of Castello, especially in the evenings as the lights were coming on.

We spent a fortnight at Anna’s apartment and enjoyed very much the terrace where we often had breakfast in the sun – divine – with a view on old Cagliari and the sea. Anna and Salvatore, our hosts, was very helpful in any way. And she treated us with cookies, wine and a delicious meal. Our stay in Cagliari therefore was second to none.

I apologize for English but my Italian or French is not good. My parents and I spent 7 nights at this beautiful apartment and it was perfect. It is not too big but it is very well arranged and has everything one might need. It is also very pretty. The location is quite central, in the middle of everything with a fantastic view of Cagliari from the living room window with the sea and from a big terrace overseeing Costello and the city wall. I loved having dinner there every night. It is probably the best view in the city!
And most importantly, Anna is a wonderful hostess. She took care of my older parents until I arrived, provided us with water and juices in the fridge, the local wine which was delicious and even cooked a traditional Sardinian dinner. She was very kind and caring and we had a wonderful vacation in Sardinia! I recommend this apartment very much.

Anna is a nice host. We were met in airport on time and then welcome to small but nice and comfortable apartment there was local made cakes, vine, coffee, fruits.
Clean and compact apartment to spend holidays, there are all things required to have a nice time. You always can enjoy beautiful views from terrace – old town and sea. The apartment is well situated in the center of the town, close to main shopping streets, bus and train station. Anna is very helpful owner.

Sardinian hospitality at its best!
Anna is a wonderful and generous host to an apartment that is in the perfect location to visit Cagliari. We were welcomed like we were old friends and spoiled with complimentary Sardinian cakes, wine and even a dinner of local Sardinian pasta! We loved the terrace with views of the city walls and distant views to the sea, and spent more than one evening enjoying a barbecue of meat bought from the local market. It is an apartment filled with character, but still has a very comfortable bed and hot shower! Location is excellent, walking to bus station, shops and all the districts of Cagliari. Excellent value to experience some of the real Sardinia!

A great place to stay
The Owners made us very welcome. The apartment is well equipped with everything you would need to make you feel at home. It has a terrace overlooking the historical centre as well as the sea. The apartment is clean and is a comfortable place to come back to after a days exploring of the area. The apartment is well situated in the centre of the old part of the town, near buses, trains and taxes also near the main shopping area.
The only thing we would say is that if you have any disabilities there are quite a lot of quite steep stairs to get to the apartment.
