We stayed at this cabin on the lake for a winter getaway. It was perfect for my husband and 1 year old. We were surprised we didn't have to move much stuff to accommodate a toddler. The house was nice and warm and cozy. The attached garage was a major perk for the winter weather. This was the perfect setting for a small family. We also enjoyed the location to some nice restaurants and coffee shops. We would definitely stay here again.

This property had all the amenities we needed for a weekend getaway. This beautiful home has gorgeous lake views from nearly every window, plenty of kitchen equipment available to cook for ourselves, very comfortable beds, and tons of ease with getting in and out of the home through the attached garage. The owner was great about communicating, and we loved our stay!

This is the perfect home to relax and enjoy the beautiful lake views, have some quality family time, read a book or play a board game, and enjoy some delicious food at the local cafes!
The hosts are wonderful and exceptionally friendly and responsive. A great experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful lake house. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfy, a perfect place for the 4 of us. The lake water was quite green when we were there but it was October so too cold to swim anyway. The view of the lake from the living room was stunning. We also visited several of the small villages nearby for sightseeing and shopping.

This is a well maintained house with a great view of the lake. Sunsets are impressive. The house is well stocked, but close to restaurants . We were there in October so only enjoyed the lake by watching it. There were kayaks available, but a little chilly for us. Close to coffee shops and lots of hiking areas, including High Cliff state park. Would definitely come again.

We had a great time staying at Lake Winnebago sunsets. The views really are gorgeous! The house is very clean and comfortable. The weather was great so we enjoyed the yard and fire pit, our dogs were able to enjoy the open space too! Down by the water we had a great time fishing from the pier and were amazed at the different kinds of fish and size they were! We used the kayaks and the board, some of us for the first time! Nearby we hiked the Park trails, and spent time cuddling baby goats at the goat farm. Thank you for sharing your house on the lake with us!

We saw one of the best sunsets 🌅 we have ever seen while enjoying sitting around the fire pit. Our dogs loved it too.

Enjoyed fishing off the pier and swimming, it’s exactly the relaxing getaway the family needed before the hectic school year. The house was really clean and had everything we needed. The breeze off the lake and listening to the waves roll in while watching the sunset all from the living room was an every night activity for the whole family.

The property was very comfortable, cozy, and clean with great views! We had a great time walking down to the lake in the backyard, sitting on the dock and watching the birds and the ducks, the fishing boats, and the beautiful sunsets! We even had family visit and roasted smores on the fire pit. Easy check in and check out, no issues with anything. We would stay here again! Thank you.

The property was pristine. Felt we were the first to ever stay there. The attached garage made for easy loading/unloading. The 2 bedrooms comfortably slept 4 and were very comfortable. Bathroom is spacious to shower/change. Very clean. The kitchen appliances were very clean and in great condition. Plenty of refrigerator and cabinet space. Floor and countertops spic and span. Living area comfortable with plenty of viewing options on the television. Big windows open to spacious yard and grand views of the lake facing west, perfect for sunsets. Dock extends into lake with ample room for fishing. Thankfully the fish were biting. Yard big and we had use of the firepit. Grill came with and propane was full. Grill very clean. Boathouse dtored 3 kayaks which we used. Lake was very friendly. Not too deep. All in all we are very satisfied and plan on returning. Thank you Andrea!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The weather didn’t cooperate, but we still had a beautiful view and a really comfy place to hang out as a family. It was nicely equipped with everything you’d need, and the response time with the host was great. We’ll stay again.

My husband and I loved this house on Lake Winnebago! It was very clean and the sunsets and lake front was amazing! The weather didn't cooperate when we stayed, but we made the best of our adventures by visiting LA Clare Creamery (a must), high Cliff State park (beautiful), Gobbler Knob Supper Club (the owner Cindy is wonderful and made us feel right at home) and our daily favorite, Mud Creek Coffee Shop in Stockbridge and the other location near Outpost and Dicks grocery store. My husband landed two huge fish on the Fox River at Lutz Park in Appleton! Great location for river fishing and a picnic! We loved coming back to the house to relax, grill a steak or two and unwind after our adventures! The house has everything you need for a home "away from home". Thank you, Andrea! We hope to be back for dock fishing and to get our boat out on the lake!

From our initial communication until we reluctantly left Andrea and Matt's lovely home, our experience with the host and the rental was first rate. Andrea was prompt and kind with response and helpful with all of our questions. The home is just what we wanted; right on the lake with enough friendly folks around to feel welcomed, but private enough to feel away from it all. The grandeur of Lake Winnebago is right. outside. the. back. yard. and can be viewed even on a dreary day from the confines of the cozy living room. The proximity to High Cliff State Park is less than 10 miles, with easy access on state highways. The kitchen provided all the utensils, and cookware that we needed to prepare our meals and had some extras within the cupboards to simplify things. Expectations for cleaning up were minimal and instructions for securely closing up the house were well detailed. We encountered no problems throughout our stay.
In a heartbeat, we'd return. We just hope that it's available!
Thank you kindly for a lovely stay!

Great place to stay - clean and comfortable. The grill could use a little love, but that was the only flaw in our stay.

We had a nice weekend trip to the lake house for a wedding. The place was comfortable and relaxing. That weekend we got a lot of snow and let the owner know. They did snow removal which is great, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to get out of the driveway! Would stay here again if in the area.

Our family (2 adults, 2 kids and a dog) had a wonderful week at this property right on Lake Winnebago. . The place was very clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the fire pit most nights and there was plenty of firewood to use. Looking forward to coming back during the summer!

Wonderfully renovated home on the lake. Host was great. Good communication. Wish the coffee pot were full size but that’s the only gripe. Great experience.

The house is amazing, perfect for our family of 4 (and 2 dogs). We had a gorgeous fall weekend of hanging out, playing games, hiking at High Cliff, a fire, and even used the kayaks, while my son played in the lake! Everything we could need was at the house. The fireplace was nice at night, the bathroom and shower is beautifully remodeled. Amazing sunsets! The owner was quick to respond, especially at check out when my darling teenager left her phone on the bed after we had checked out…SO sorry!! We would love to come back again.

We really enjoyed our fall weekend here. It was beautiful. The sunsets are great. The house is small, quaint and filled with everything you need for a few days. We even had a few friends over for the Packer Game too. It was so much fun.

I stayed here in October with my husband and it was the perfect get away. The property is very updated and had everything we needed. They supplied paper towels, spices, bottled water, literally everything you could ask for and more.
The view of the lake is amazing! We loved the fire pit (firewood also provided free) and the free use of the kayaks. Hiking in High Cliffs State Park was fun and lots of local restaurants and adventures nearby.
Everything was close, but not too close. Just right for a week to unplug and escape from the rat race. Thank you!
