Mallika was a delight. she was very welcoming. location right on the beach was great. terrific value for money. plenty o

restaurant area on the beach with sun beds at no extra charge. all the staff were very helpful and very trusting and fair with recording the restaurant bills.

could have been a little more mosquito proof in the rooms but the nets were adequate.

En plus de toutes les qualités de l hébergement et du personnel, Malika offre a ses hôtes le prêt du kayak dans la mangrove c était magique 💕 Merciiiii🤗 Le curd au fruits et au miel est délicieux

La chambre devait avoir vue sur la.mer il n en est rien les chambres sont de l.autre côté de la route où il n y a pas la.mer .c est le restaurant qui a vu sur la mer.

Très bien on regrette juste le bruit le soir et les prix du restaurant

Très propre très confortable très bien situé Mallika et ses fils sont adorables et toujours disponibles. On peut entendre la mer pour dormir quand il n y a pas le vacarme de la sono du bar..on peut entendre les oiseaux le matin. La chambre est à bonne température car bien située et le ventilo efficace et silencieux. L'accès à la mer est direct depuis le bar ombragé qui est de l'autre côté de la petite route par rapport aux chambres. La terrasse devant la chambre est super( quand les chats nous laissent tranquilles) et on peut même étendre du linge Il y a une douche extérieure et tout est bien pensé.

Les chats qui rentrent par la fenêtres La musique( de mauvais goût Shakira Rocky balboa..et beaucoup trop fort .a presque minuit)pourquoi pas de musique locale qui est très bonne???!!on ne vient pas chercher ce genre de choses! Pas de petit déjeuner a moins de 1850 roupies contrairement à ce qui est indiqué sur Booking a 4$ce qui est déjà beaucoup mais c est encore plus en réalité Le wifi ne fonctionne pas toujours très bien

Ottima guest house in fronte spiaggia

We had an amazing time at Mallika guest house, we all fell in love with the place, the staff and the delicious food at the restaurant. La famiglia di Mallika è talmente cordiale che fa sentire gli ospiti totalmente accolti. Siamo talmente soddisfatte che abbiamo scelto di tornare a Tangalle per gli ultimi 11 giorni della nostra vacanza

Me hubiese quedado mucho más tiempo

Estuvimos muy a gusto en Mallika, la familia es muy amable y acogedora, los hijos de la familia son muy eficientes, problema que te surge problema que resuelven super rápido. Hicimos con ellos el recorrido en kayak por la laguna y muy recomendable. Muy bonito y divertido. El alojamiento esta en la misma playa cruzas la pequeña carretera y ya tienes los pies en la arena. Tangalle tiene algo muy especial que a nosotras nos ha conquistado. Volvería sin duda

El wifi inestable. A veces llegaba a la habitación y a veces no. Pero es un problema que nos hemos encontrado con frecuencia en Sri Lanka

Amazing place to stay

Mallika guesthouse is a wonderful place to stay in Tangalle. It’s a family business with very nice owners. The guesthouse is perfectly located, in beachfront with bar and restaurant on the sand. From the room you can sleep with the sound of the wave. The food is also really good and generous. We loved our stay in this place and we strongly recommanded!

Perfect and peaceful beachfront stay in Tangalle

Super friendly owner, treated us really kindly. We booked one night and extended to two nights. Dinner was delicious and well prepared. The beach front location is perfect and the settings are beautiful. The lagoon is 200m away if you want to do kayak to explore. Would recommend this place without hesitation.

Strong wifi, big rooms with comfy beds, clean toilet, good food in restaurant with reasonable prices, there is option to have mini fridge inside room for extra fee if you like to have one! Family business with lovely and helpful owners! We really enjoyed our stay here! Oh and beach is just 10 seconds from room with nice spot for swimming. Lagoon kayaking also available, so remember to try it!

Fabulous

The family were so welcoming and helpful. I had a problem with my foot in the middle of the night and they were able to help by asking a friend to take me to the local hospital - this was so kind and very much appreciated. The family also allowed us a late check out with access to a shower after a day on the beach, and helped us secure transportation to Tissa. Malika’s sons in particular are lovely and a credit to her. The location is gorgeous and serene - literally right on the beach! Great breakfast and food in general. Wonderful pina colada - the best we sampled in Tangalle.

The room was a little small for us as for some reason there were two double beds. Maybe the beds could be repositioned to give more space?

Absolutely amazing stay in Mallika's place! The room was clean, comfortable and with only a 20 meter to the beach it was the perfect place to stay in Tangalle. Also her restaurant next to the beach had super delicious Sri Lankan food and fresh juices. A big thanks to Mallika but also to her son, he always provided us with sunbeds and helped us out with the WiFi and arrangement for taxi's.. Mallika's place really really feels like home and we can't wait to come back one day. Also thanks to Mallika for her sweet present.. 100% recommend for a stay in Tangalle!

This is a really nice homestay near the beach, a very nice extended sand beach. Breakfast is delicious (you can choose Western or local style), and Mallika's restaurant can also be recommended, especially for seafood. Although it can be a challenge to swim at Tangalle beach, the sea right in front of this guesthouse has some big rocks that break the waves, which makes swimming there safe and relaxed. Mallika and her family are nice and welcoming, also recommended for longer stays. Rooms are clean and spacious, good value for money.
