About this house rental
An original 1912 Craftsman bungalo style home but with all the modern amenities that make life comfortable and easy. We are set in a location that makes it easy to experience everything the South Bay area has to offer as well as the greater Los Angeles area. We are a short walk to the Redondo Beach Pier, 3 miles to Riviera Village with all of the wonderful shops and restaurants, 3 miles to trendy and lively Hermosa Beach and 7 miles to upscale Manhattan Beach. Stepping inside is like stepping back into time - with all of the modern conveniences of today's needs - Air conditioning, hi speed wi-fi, spa like bathroom, large back yard (by beach standards), assigned parking space, fully equipped kitchen, office area with wi-fi and printer. The house is tastefully and eclectically furnished with many crystals, geodes and unusual pieces throughout. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and windows that look out into the private patio. It is quiet and cool with air conditioning and ceiling fan. The second bedroom is small and has a queen size murphy bed, its own bathroom, and private entrance through french doors that lead out to the back yard. The office has a very comfortable twin daybed. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need to prepare your favorite meals with Le Cruiset cookware, rice cooker, Vitamix blender, Kitchen Aid mixer, wine cabinet, etc. The outside area is perfect for grilling any time of year and there are multiple seating areas outside. The backyard is complete with a cozy firepit and seating area, fountains, and large farm style dining table for those warm evening barbeques with family. Although we are a completely pet friendly home - the home is immaculate and without doggie hair or smells. We have a large fenced back yard which is ecure from all sides. This is our own home which we are renting out while we travel, so it is well loved and cared for. We look forward to having our guests who will do the same!

We stayed here with our adult son. The house is so precious and tranquil. The yards are pristine and beautiful. It is a great location, a quiet area but close to anything you want to do (beach, eat, shop, etc.)
The owners were so kind and easy to contact.
You will not regret staying here!

This was our second time staying here and it was even better than the first time ! The beautiful house is perfect in every way - all of the modern conveniences with the architectural charm of an original bungalow. The new outdoor space was amazing and we so enjoyed sitting out there every night with our dogs. Carol is a very conscientious host and checked on us to be sure that we arrived and had no questions or issues with anything in the home(which we didn't-everything was perfect). We hope to be able to stay here again in the near future. Love it !!!

Everything where you need it and set up with care and thoughtfulness. Close to everything. Our Host Carol checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable. Stayed here for a wedding but would recommend to anyone for what ever adventure your looking for, just "click it" you won't be disappointed.

Comfortable and beautiful home that worked perfectly for two couples. House is in close proximity to Redondo Beach definitely in walking distance to the pier. The yard is absolutely gorgeous and perfect little oasis in the city. Home is in close proximity to LAX as well that was a nice surprise. We would definitely stay at this property again and highly recommend it to others.

This rental was beautiful and in a wonderful, walkable location in proximity to Pagosa Springs! The place was very clean and comfortable, and the hosts were super accessible and accommodating. I highly recommend this place!!

We rented this place for 6 days and it was absolutely a great place. The communication with the owner was prompt and very easy. We would stay here again when visiting family in the South Bay. I have add we stayed here during a series of rain storms and still really enjoyed it, we can’t wait to return when the sun shines.

The house and yard were perfect for us and our dog. The location is convenient for walking to Redondo Pier. The home is equipped with everything you need and the kitchen has everything to make a gourmet meal if you want. The appliances arre new. Everything is clean and the bed is SO comfortable. Carol and Wayne were exceptional hosts. We really enjoyed our nearly three week stay here.

This is a lovely home that lived up to the listing. The owner Carol was wonderful to work with via email and text throughout the process of renting and then during our stay. She even checked in with us to make sure everything was good the day we arrived. There is a fenced backyard with grass and a large enclosure for the dog if needed. It has both sunny and shady areas to choose from. We also enjoyed the wisteria vine covered sitting area that looks out to the backyard. I only wish it had been blooming during our stay. There are lots of blooming plants that we enjoyed during our stay: Plumerias, Lantana and Naked Ladies are just the ones I remember now. The BBQ was pristine. Inside, the house is very tranquil. We only used the master bedroom bed and found it very comfortable. There was lots of closet space with hangers. Having 2 great bathrooms was a luxury so we each staked one out. We love a well appointed kitchen and this kitchen has it all. We cooked several meals and found everything we were looking for. The dining room, with fire place and orchids on the table, was welcoming for our meals. There is a driveway parking space that we didn't use as we have a large truck and were not wanting to block the sidewalk at all. We parked on the street and never had to look for a parking space away from the street adjacent to the driveway. The location has easy access to the beach and lots of shopping and dining areas. We will definitely try to rent this house in the future.

Great stay
No complaints and everything was wonderful! Loved that dogs were allowed, and the backyard was safe and secure. Also provided dog kennels and bowels. Loved the decorations - felt very relaxing. Will stay again, when coming to Redondo Beach

We had an exceptional experience with this property and host. The house and yard are absolutely lovely, Carol was a responsive host, check-in and out were a breeze, and the location worked very well for us. Carol was great with communication. She also went above and beyond to help us charge the golf cart we rented. My children stained her rug and instead of calling me yelling and angry, she simply said she would have to charge me which is completely understandable. I felt awful! It was nice of her to let my rugrats stay in her home. The home is on the corner of prospect which is a busy street but it is completely sheltered from the street with a Beautiful zen garden and a sitting area. The home also had bikes, boogie board, beach towels and a lovely backyard. I used some of Carols sugar and coffee so replaced it- but she has everything you could ever need- like incredible spices and teas plus everything for cooking. Thank you again Carol!

The host has created a very comfortable environment that has amazing feel-good energy. From the minute I reached out, Carol was so helpful and accommodating. She went above and beyond even after we checked out when we thought we had left some things behind. Overall our stay was perfect. This truly is a perfect little house with a great yard. Our daughter couldn't get enough of the tree swing. We will be reaching out again if we have friends or family visiting that need a place to stay.

Carol was very helpful from the minute we wanted to book the property. When we arrived the home was clean and beautiful, just as described. Very accommodating for a family of 5 and would like to return as guests in the future.

Absolutely perfect!!
The pictures of this home are beautiful but it is even better in person. The updates to the kitchens and bathrooms are stunning and every detail was covered and then some!! All of the bungalow charm is still there though! The yard was perfect for our dogs and allowed them some welcomed off leash time. I only wish we had stayed longer and I hope the owners will allow us to stay again when we visit redondo beach.
