Situated in Marathon, this lovely house for $517 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This beautiful villa was built in 2018, making it one of the newest and modern homes in the Florida Keys. There are numerous qualities that make this villa an ideal place to call home for your travels, such as: location, amenities, comfort, and style. Marathon, Florida is in the middle of all the beauty and action of what the Florida Keys have to offer. Many popular attractions are just minutes away! There are many award winning and highly rated restaurants on Tripadvisor at a walking distance or short car ride away. Sombrero Beach is a public beach offering complimentary parking, outdoor grilling, kayak launching area, beach volleyball, children play area, and public restrooms. At a walking or bike ride distance from our home: Publix Supermarket, KMart, McDonalds, Walgreens, USPS, UPS, and Ice Cream Parlor to just name a few. Our private and large 40 foot dock offers our guest the option to bring their boats, jetskis, and waverunners, or be able to rent them locally and have easy access to them directly from their home. The dock contains washing supplies such as a hose and an electrical outlet, all for our guests convenience. And better way to enjoy a beautiful sunny day than with a dip in the pool. Our pool offers a two person bench with a water jet and an LED light to set the perfect night time atmosphere. And during rare cold weather, you can still enjoy the pool thanks to our newly installed pool water heater. All indoor living space is on the second level of the villa. This home comes equipped with ll things necessary in making your vacation memorable. Beach, shower, and face towels are all included with your stay. Starter shampoo, conditioner, soaps, and shower gels are placed in each bathroom. Kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, serving dishes, large plates, salad plates, bowls, mugs, glass cups, wine glasses, and much more.

Myself,my son & my best friend - it was her 70th birthday. The house was beautiful, the best well stocked kitchen I’ve seen in a VRBO.
Pool & yard was also so comfortable, location was great.
Having manatees visit was an added bonus. Would HIGHLY recommend this house.

House and yard are beautiful, location is great close to everything. Not being from the area I would have preferred a little more welcoming information about restaurants, beaches, places to shop locally, a bit more friendly communication with the owners or property managers. We had amazing weather and would definitely go back to Marathon.

Property was great, excellent private dock at the end of the canal, so no worries about passing boats kicking up a wake. Downstairs pool was excellent to take a dip in after going out on the boat all day, basically stepped off the boat and into the pool! lounge chairs and fridge freezer next to the pool was super convenient. Upstairs was great as well, nice balcony to relax on, and having a washer/dryer to keep up with laundry was great as well. 100% recommend this place... we will be coming back for sure!

We had a magnificent time. My husband and I are on a road trip for CNN our 25th Anniversary, with Marathon our first stop. The house is beautiful, the pool is was tranquil and all the amenities were outstanding. We took a day trip to Key West which was really a great time.

The house was beautiful. Location perfect, we love Marathon. The pool was perfect for the very hot days during our stay> Coast to Coast Pizza excellent, Porkys BBQ so good, plus minnie golf. Conch Custard ice cream very good. If you have the time take the Ferry in Key West Down to Dry tortuguas , its amazing ! We will be back at keys alhoa ! Oh and the fact you can walk to publix was a plus

This is a super nice, almost new, property. Boaters should realize that it is as far back in the canal system as you can get so it takes about 45 min to get out of the idle speed zones. Only 2 complaints. The water pressure in the bathrooms is very low, probably typical of the keys. Also the trash can in the kitchen is a joke. it doesn't fit the standard 13 gal bags and holds very little. When you get the trash in you can't get it back out again. For general tourists this is a 5. For boaters it is a 4. Enjoy!

House is very clean, comfortable, and modern. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. It was super hot outside during our stay. House A/C worked great. Pool was clean. Additional outside fridge/freezer was really helpful. It takes about 20 minutes to get from dock to the open ocean of the Atlantic. Map on VRBO incorrectly shows house on Sombrero Blvd. The house is on Sombrero Beach Rd. Must be a Google map issue because when we used Google for directions getting to the property, it also incorrectly took us to Sombrero Blvd. No big deal, just caused a brief period of confusion. Anyway, I highly recommend renting this house.

Well appointed home with functional layout. Enjoyed bikes, kayaks, pool, grill, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, cornhole….proximity to beach, stores and activities!!! Did not want to leave!

Place was very nice. Close to beach, restaurants, and lots of things to do. It is a 45 minute boat trip from house to open water due to no wake zone, but nice ride all the same. Rent a boat and enjoy the sea. Then come back and enjoy the pool!!

This amazing property offers all you would want from a VRBO. We spent 10 days at this home, located on the canal on Sombrero Beach Blvd, which was a plus as we brought our boat. Ocean access and dining by boat is just a short relaxing cruise to both. The home is very well decorated and has everything you may need. We really enjoyed our stay within this property. It was very well equipped inside and outside there was plenty of crockery and utensils and towels. It was very clean and tidy. The pool area and dock was lovely. The pool was clean, heated and maintained.
The location was very central to Marathon and the supermarkets.
Lots of things for us all to do including the canoes and bikes. We even saw a Manatee at the dock. Great holiday house. Would recommend.

A month full of family to celebrate a happy 75th birthday. Who could ask for more. The house was perfect and the owners were extremely responsive to any need.
There was something to do for everyone. Visiting Bahia Honda State Park; walking the 7 mile bridge; ocean, Gulf and dock fishing; seeing the manatees at our dock; Sombrero Beach; kayaking; restaurants; biking; a beautiful patio, porch and pool, So glad to be still healthy to do all these wonderful things with my people!

Overall, this home was a great fit and we very much enjoyed our stay. Very conveniently located (hard to find with Google maps, which is not your issue, but since your aware of this some written directions might be included when sending entrance key code). I would book this place again easily, but here a few items to consider; bed linens & towels scent and/or cleaning products too heavily fragrant (smell of the house is slightly overbearing). A few cutting knifes (chef & pairing) that are smooth edged would be nice. Many light switches labeled but could not turn on pool lights (maybe that is intentional?). Trash and recycle containers not marked. These and a few other things were all minor items.

This is one of the most beautiful homes we have ever stayed at. Everything is immaculate inside and outside. The owner thought of absolutely everything to make this a five star house. My kids still talk about the pool and proximity to the beach. I would recommend to anyone and hope to stay again.

This was our second time renting this house, and again it was wonderful. It was the perfect getaway with my husband and our 2 teens. Unfortunately, I broke my foot days before this vacation, but the home was a great place to sit and relax. Kids loved the pool, husband and son kayaked to Sombrero Beach. We enjoyed many restaurants around Marathon. We would return again!

This house is so beautiful, it looks even better in person. It's very clean and had pretty much everything we needed. The beds are super comfortable, best comforters ever so soft and fluffy. The house is in walking distance of the grocery stores which was very convenient for us. The swimming pool was perfect for all of us, the kids really enjoyed it. The beach is super close by. Neighbors were very friendly and helpful. Very quiet area and it was overall the best experience I have had in a long time. I will definitely visit again. I didn't want to leave.

Everything was immaculate, very nice quality, and comfortable. The dock was great for the 22ft boat we rented and also had nice step downs to use for the kayaks. The A/C had a glitch and the host had it taken care of the same day even though she was on her own vacation. Above and beyond!! Highly recommend!

All previous reviews are spot on. I can’t begin to explain how much our entire group loved this property. We enjoyed the pool and the proximity to Sombrero Beach. This home is by far the nicest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in! Book it, you won’t be sorry!

Missing this place
Our family of five LOVED this house. It's close to so much, it's clean, well decorated, the pool was fantastic, and the kids had one side of the house and we had the other—so there was plenty of privacy. I miss coffee on the balcony and wine by the pool ... I'd definitely recommend this place.
The only thing I'd say was lacking were some extras that most of the houses we've stayed in (everywhere from Rome to San Francisco) offered—better-stocked kitchens (sugar, coffee, etc.) and bathrooms (full-sized shampoo/body wash, etc.)—but that's really the only "fault." But, again, we loved this place and would stay there again in a heartbeat.
